He felt her tears against him, hot and wet, and for a moment, he panicked. Had he said it too soon? Would she be scared away from him now? He could almost see it happening – it had happened so often before that he knew the whole thing by rote. She would stop cuddling, draw away from him, mumble something about needing to go. She would dress awkwardly and leave him alone in his makeshift nest. That was what would happen. Again.
Except it didn't. He practically crushed her to him so that she couldn't see that he was crying too. He hadn't realized how much he had needed to hear those words, but when she had said them it felt as though something inside him was finally complete. ”No one... has ever really... said that to me before.” he whispered, pulling back just enough to find her lips and draw her into a very deep, meaningful kiss.
Well, his mother's had, but that wasn't the point.

"Me either, but it does feel very good, to say it and mean it with everything you are. At least thats how I feel," she kissed his forehead, stoking a hand over his hair, brushing a feeler, and then dug it into his thick dreads as she kissed him full on the lips again, if this went the way she hoped she would need that anchor to reality. She had found he who would be hers, and now he was and well she could say the same thing over and over in her head in different fraises but it wouldn't alter what her body knew. "Hrrrrnnnnng," she tried to purr through her kiss, kinda growling at him, in a way she hoped would get her point across. She didn't know why but she had an urge to bite his shoulder, not to hurt but to let him know she was here and in a state.

”Mmmrrr...” he managed, not willing to break the contact even for a moment as he drew her back into the depths of the comfortable nest they had made out of his coat. Damn the wrinkles and the washing he would have to do – that did not matter. He loved her too much – he wanted her too much – for it to matter at all.

She had been fiercer this time, more confident though still tentative. He'd tried to be gentle, but her ferocity had brought out some of his own and he was a little rougher than he thought he should have been. He held her close, stroking her skin gently in apology. He faced towards her, though she was turned away as she rested from their actions.
”Iroia, was it... was it too much?” he asked, his lips touching the edge of her long, beautiful ears. He resisted the urge to lip or nibble them in his concern.

She giggled as his lips tickled her. "It was glorious is what it was." She smirked and nibbled along his jaw. "Couldn't be happier." She felt a bit like a big pile of warm mud, content and not wanting to move, eventually she would get the will to stand up, just not yet. A brisk breeze came into the cave and washed over them, it felt good made her a little more awake. "I like it here in Sauti, I thought I would miss the warmth, but I don't really, is that odd for a leafling do you think? Do your feelers ever get cold?" Iroia thought her ears might eventually, but that was what her furs were for, she liked them too, they were soft and fluffy. Made her look like a wild creature when she wore them maybe a gangly version of one of the great cats that lived either here or zena, she thought it was here. "Have you ever seen one of those big cat things?"

Votzhem was relieved. Iroia was no delicate snowflake, but... he just needed to be sure.
”I like it here in Sauti, too.” he murmured, ”I especial' like it here, with you. So, I don't think it's odd at all. Not at all.”
He sat up, gathering her to him as he leaned against the cavern wall. He blinked at her question. ”No, I haven't... They don't live so much where we are. Too rocky for them, not enough prey...”
He kissed her softly, his arms wrapped around her. ”I... When you're ready to... I would like you to... I'd like you to meet my mothers.” he said, ”I think they'll like you. I think you'll like them. Especially Laki. She's... like Kaalnia, but less Kaalnia...” he blushed a little. Was it too soon? They were going to meet them anyway, but... He felt a little thrown off, a little uncertain, in a giddy, very good way.

"I would like to meet them too, I hope they will at least accept me, and I really hope they like me, but they don't have to if they don't wanna, I'm here for you, I'd do anything for you cause well, cause I love you." She blushed and fidgeted a little. "I'll meet them, I suppose we should pack up and head out then. Still I think this cave is my new favorite place ever." She patted the wall fondly before packing up. This was the logical next step. "Okay, I'm ready." Fin
