Silent Hill? Horror movies, but both movies feature a woman as a main character who, mostly, single-handed tries to stop evil.

OwO romcoms and chick flicks?
but there are also loads that fit what you describe but arent in those genres biggrin
I just recently finished watching "I give it a year" a few hours ago. It was nice xp There was a character that seemed misogynistic though...
