"I will get you to the mountain. Or do you want to get yourself killed?"

Lock had heard stories about knights being carried by winged knights to the artifacts, be he had thought them disillusions from one too many sips of cave water.
"How are you going to do that?" He took a step towards the gate, but thought better of it. "You really think I'll die?"

"Come here and you will find out. Also. Yes. There is a fair chance of it."

Lock sighed through his nose. Stubborn was one thing he was not, particularly when a great knight was giving him an order.
He stepped closer to the knight, within arm's reach. "Is there some sort of preparation I might need? Some kind of ... flying position ..."

"Just hold on."
Shun grabbed onto the younger knight. Then, with a deep breath, he took off. Up into the sky. Where no knight has gone before. Except for all the other knights that had done this previously.

"Hold on to what exactly becauahHHHHHHHHHH-"
Lock was not exactly used to flying. Once the initial panic had ebbed and he'd gained his "air legs" so to speak, he was immediately much calmer, albeit still somewhat clinging to Shun's side. "Do all great knights have wings?" he questioned.

he answered, keeping his gaze ahead. Shun kept a firm grip on Lock as he flew on towards the mountainside, quickly.

Then it would be possible for Lock to do the same. Duly noted.
The mountain came into sight quickly and they landed even more abruptly. Seeing as the tabard was within reach, Lock quickly found purchase in the rocky ledge and scooted towards it. It was sturdy, well made. Black and white, with a strange symbol in the center. It felt nice to have something that he could call his own at least. Something that the other knights couldn't claim to represent them.
He looked back at his shadowy escort and coughed into his hand slightly to clear his throat. "Ah. Thank you. I believe I'll require your assistance getting back, as well."

Once they landed, Shun's cloak settled back down into its normal position, being loose fabric once more. Looking around, he stared at the tabard that Lock picked up.
With a low grunt, he grabbed onto the other knight once more, then jumped off of the mountainside.
