Zempre Tag! Maybe she should stay with Darius so he can have a surprise on how she looks later XD I dunno Alicante straightened up his back refusing to let this man try and belittle him. All that lord Darius had on him was his money, other than that, Alicante was his better in every way. He also knew that Lord Darius was still entertaining them for two reasons: the first was that he needed to have Alicante there for his party, and the other was that he was determined to make Alicante's life a living hell. By offering Nadia a place to stay, Darius was ensuring Alicante's attendance. He had half a mind to take Nadia and leave, but since he had already cost her a dancing gig, he would let her decide what she wanted to do. He took her a little ways removed from Darius and turned to her, squeezing her shoulder softly. "It's up to you whether you decide to stay to get ready here or leave with me. However, I have no means of clothing you properly for this party. Either way I will see you tonight and explain everything that has happened. Whatever you do, try not be alone with that idiot...." He hesitated, then added "I'm sorry I cost you this dancing job, we can figure out something later" he gave her an apologetic smile and let go of her shoulders as he waited for her decision.

Lord Darius was confident that he had won this part of the 'battle' and it showed by how he crossed his arms against his chest and even had a smug smile playing at his lips. Truth be told, he had little interest in the girl, albeit she was beautiful, but the fact that some commoner would turn down his invitation was insulting. All because he thought he was so special because the Gods blessed him? He was trash compared to the upper class..and Darius -hated- that he had to entertain him and attempt to pursue him to his party. Yet he knew how well this would look upon him, and he was sure by now Alicante had figured out that this was the only reason he was invited. So manipulating the female would force him to come...and then? Well, he had plans for that too. . Allowing herself to be guided away, Nadia glanced over her shoulder to the Lord and then back to Alicante. She listened to him speak and after a moment pursed her lips into a thin line as she considered what she should do. Undoubtedly she preferred the company of the gate guard over the Lord...but the Lord was being nice enough to let them attend and even take care of her needs. Truth be told she had brought very little with her on this journey and to go to a party unprepared could be humiliating if not damaging to her path as a dancer. "You promise you'll be back..?" She asked suddenly, her gaze moving to meet his own. "If you promise...I will stay here. I need to clean up and rest some before tonight...I"m not entirely sure what to expect. Plus, I can't ask anymore from you. You really have done a lot for me today. Even left your post.." A soft chuckle escaped her as she knew he left because she had dragged him off practically. Mayamage2 Sorry it took so long, and dammit, Darius must be official because he has his own post now! XD

Zempre i think I'm a little rusty Xd stay with me here Alicante shot Darius a murderous look as he guided Nadia away to talk. Leaving her there was against every fiber in his being, but what choice did he have. He could take her away, but what good would it do this newcomer to test the streets of Dialia on the hopes of becoming famous one day. On the other hand if he let her go with Darius, she could get pampered and go to a party with the most elite of people. There, they might be able to hash out a plan to have her dance, against any of Lord Darius' wishes. Alicante smirked, stifling a chuckle at Nadia's comment, "I promise..." He looked into her eyes as he brushed a strand of her hair off her cheek"Hey, leaving my post landed me a date with a pretty little dancer. I believe that I will be alright" he continued, " I'll be back before you know it, just... Avoid him if you can ok? I'll explain everything when I can" With that, he let go of her and walked away. There was much to do before the party started.

Mayamage2 Pft, you and me both. xD Also, when you are ready, let me know and I will open up the party :3 Nadia watched as he turned to leave and there wasn't much time for words because soon Lord Darius would have her grasped once more upon her elbow, guiding her back again towards his estates. "Wonderful! I am so glad you decided to stay. I assure you that you will find my hospitality most welcoming. I assume after such a journey you will want to wash up and perhaps rest some?" With a snap of his fingers, a pair of servants rushed to their Lord's side and compared to their master, they were rather plain in appearance. "Please take Miss Nadia to her room and fetch her something to wear tonight. Something....that even the Gods would envy." A truly devious smirk came to his lips as he thought nothing more then to make Alicante's night miserable. It was one thing to have been forced to invite this lowlife to his party, but he wouldn't have them controlling what he did after that. No, Alicante didn't impress Lord Darius and he if he could find or show a way that proved to the others of Nobility that he was nothing more then a common mule...the better. "Er...thank you, my Lord, for your generosity. I truly am thankful for it.." Nadia began before the Lord raised a hand dismissively. He gave her one of his award winning smiles before moving his grasp from her elbow to her hand where he brought it to his lips. "Oh no, I am the one who is thankful. I will see you tonight, then. I have much planning to do, but do enjoy yourself while I am gone...though not to much." The handsome Lord gave her another smile, knowing he had used that same demeanor upon many females in the past who all seemed to melt beneath it. The dancer shifted in discomfort but returned the smile nonetheless before one of the servants beckoned for her to follow him. Obediently she did so and once Lord Darius was not near her, she felt far more at ease. There was something about him the woman didn't like, or at least felt uncomfortable with. Maybe it hadn't been a good idea to stay here the night. No, Nadia told herself, she couldn't think like that! Her career was at stake! She had swore a path to her God and she wasn't going to let some Noble unnerve her! Taking a deep breath, she calmed her beating heart before placing an earnest smile upon her lips. Tonight, she would find a way to dance and nothing would stop her!

Zempre I'm ready for party opening, Alicante is waiting to be announced at the gates Xd Alicante hurried back to his post. Someone must have noticed he'd been gone by now and he would not hear the end of it. How is he to become Sky Guard if he was always getting himself into all kinds of trouble. This time trouble came in the form of a lithe little dancer girl and the "great" Lord Darius. Tonight's party was going to be trouble and he knew it. But against his better judgement he couldn't let Nadia suffer through it alone. When he got back to his post, the line to get into the city was long and his captain's face was long as well. He braced for the licking he was going to receive and walked towards him in surrender. The day turned into early evening and Alicante slowly made his way towards Lord Darius' mansion. He had managed to convince his captain that someone needed his immediate help and he had to abandon his post as gate guard because of it. It was luck he was able to go to the party that evening. Or perhaps, not so much. His steps were heavy. He was dreading this just as much as he dreaded gate guard duty. Nevertheless, he straightened himself and walked on. Alicantes had decided to wear his pristine white knight's uniform to show he were in The Queen's army. He was no knight yet, so his uniform did not hold any badges on his left chest. The accents on his uniform were gold. The cape that glided behind him and draped over his flanks were also of a glittering gold. His allure was such , in his sky uniform that people turned to look. He did not like the attention much. Quickening his steps he hastened toward the mansion's gates and told the guard there his name and waited patiently for him to be announced into the party.
