Silence was orphaned at a very young age. He was the result of two lovers from rival kingdoms' passion for one another. His birth was discovered by his grandsire. He, along with his parents, were ordered killed for the trespass. His mother, Adle, was far too weak to see him to safety so she begged her mate to see the colt as far as he could manage. The stallion drove his son on wobbly legs as far as the colt could manage. The youngster was hardly able to make it beyond the sharpened horns of their pursuers so instead, he was hidden away as his sire ran to lead the others away from him. Silence was eventually found by an older unicorn and raised alongside him. He was given his name for his quiet, thoughtful nature.
When Silence was old enough to be on his own, his mentor parted from his side, leaving the young stallion to forge his own road.
Thoughtful, quiet, and gentle, Silence is perhaps the nicest individual anyone could meet. He's a deep thinker, soft-spoken, and unwaveringly faithful to his beliefs. He's unashamed of his faith but gentle in sharing it . He's discerning enough to know when another individual will be unwilling to listen but he's willing to get along with just about anyone regardless of their disagreements. He's painfully modest and while he possesses many talents he trips over himself trying to keep them to himself, fearing that expressing them will make him seem boastful.
If anything, he's painfully naive when it comes to the darkness within others. He believes that every creature has the potential for good and seeks to bring that out in them. Because of this, he can be easily manipulated. He also would have no idea how to handle any romantic advances towards him. He's far from interested in romance but he would try not to offend. Unfortunately, this would leave him as a babbling, apologetic mess.

• General RP! I want him to encounter many types of creatures via rp.
• Friends? Fellow believers? Companions? I'm really up for anything.
• I would like for him to encounter both good and bad creatures through his travels. At some point I would like him to get himself into a nasty situation, even nearing death, so that he has to come to grips with the reality that not all creatures are able to be trusted. In short- I want him to have a reason to take up a cause to protect others. I'd be willing to plot out a longer plot with multiple individuals!
• He will eventually go on to establish a Knight's Templar. Any interested parties are welcome!

Foundations of a Genesis There must have been a time of nothingness.
Time, space, all things that are and would be were once empty and without form. There was no hot or cold, dark or light, there was no color or sound. There was simply nothing. This nothing is beyond description. Our minds will try to define nothing as something that we can understand- the color of air perhaps? But there was not even that. There was nothing before there was even a word to describe nothing.
But...there was something beyond the nothing. Outside of it, and as such- something. Someone. As nothingness is beyond description, so was and is the ultimate something. This something, who I can only describe as The Maker, decided to fill the nothingness. He spoke and his words fell into the nothingness, shattering into countless lights. To each of these lights was given a name, a purpose, and the most precious thing of all- life.
The earth our hooves stand upon is but a whisper of a far grander song. Every life is but a single note in a symphony beyond our hearing. Small and fragile as we are, it was the breath of the Maker that first filled our breasts. It's his strength that burns in our bellies when our own spirits fail us. In our final moments, it's his voice that calls us into the forever.
Whether we used our lives to orchestrate a ballad that honored him, served our fellows, and put ourselves last or used our lives to create a chorus of pain and suffering determines what forever we are called into. The forever-lands of light are separated from all things that burdened us in our lifetime- pain, suffering, sadness, hunger, and the influence of evil. The forever-lands of darkness is filled with all the despair and suffering kept away from the light. All the suffering caused will be repaid in full...forever.
It's our duty to each other and to the Maker to fight for the souls of this world, to pull them into the light so they may do the same for another.
► The Pilgrimage ||
Silence will spend some time shortly after he grows to maturity traveling the land on a spiritual journey. This will be composed of several rp's where he encounters other creatures, visits several different biomes, and eventually comes to his faith. This will be his spiritual awakening of sorts and the foundation for his personality and his ideals into the future.
► Troubled times ||
Either during or sometimes after his pilgrimage, I want Silence to encounter a cruel figure or a horrible event. Something needs to provoke his desire to do something other than travel and enjoy the world and those within it. I wouldn't even mind if he was kicked around, subjected to torment and bondage, or brought close to death- so long as he can eventually find his way out to continue his plot.
► A few noble hearts ||
Seeing the darkness in the world, he'll travel with a newfound understanding of the world. Where there is light, there may be shadows. He'll travel the land sharing his faith with others and hopefully gathering a few comrades who seek to change things for the better.
