"Ready as I'll ever be! And really don't worry! I'll protect ya from the big bads if anything happens!" Zumei exclaimed, shuffling closer to the lad. All they had to do was find some nice rocks to nudge. No big deal. It was a simple task and Zumei was ready to do it. Those bandits wouldn't know what hit them, literally if she had a say in it. "Okay, one, two, three, go," she muttered, shoving at one of the larger rocks on the ledge. Much to her displeasure it barely moved an inch. Looked like that one was out of the question unless Juno decided to push it with her. "What do you think? Too big?"

OpticPeach yey! Juno's my next growth priority, so i'll be posting for him. if you have the time, it would be super awesome if we could finish this quick -- that way i can get out of your hair anyway, since you've already got her grown. B) He might have laughed at her claim to protect him from the bandits, but… somehow, he seemed to realize that she was being entirely serious. And why not? He shouldn’t assume that she was less capable than him just because she was female, and maybe a little smaller than him. There were plenty girls out there who could hold their ground in a fight better than he’d ever be able to -- and from the little he had gotten out of his father, his sister was supposed to be one of them too. So it was best, he thought, that he abandon all such presumptions and do his best to keep up with his present companion.
Zumei was undoubtedly confident. When they reached the rocky ledge, she picked out a rather large rock to push at… but, despite her best efforts, he strength didn’t seem to match her ambition. And here Juno could only shrug with a bit of a sheepish grin on his face, because he knew that he should be able to handle it.
He’d done a lot of heavy lifting in his time, after all.
“Naw. We can do it together. Just watch we don’t roll off with it!”
And with that he set his shoulder to the rock, pushing alongside her. Very soon it began to roll along up to the edge of the cliff.

Yay! The rock was moving! Of course no small part to the fact that Juno was there being big and strong. She was honestly surprised by the amount of strength he possessed. Probably from being a merchant's son and all that. Maybe if she started lifting things more she'd get stronger that way. It could work. They were almost ready to show those awful bandits who they were messing with and she was ecstatic for it. Maybe it would even make them think again before trying to rob someone else. She could only hope, though she really doubted it. Bandits were awful. "Ready?" she whispered once the rock was settled in place. Stereochrome Absolutely! I think we only need one more post. :3 Sorry this has taken so long. I have been fail tagger.

OpticPeach yuss! no worries, i'm glad we did this rp. ow o They shifted the rok to the edge of the cliff, then stepped back to check the position. It looked good; they both knew it, without having to say much. There was a clear passage of sorts down the cliff-face in the direction of the bandits. Their aim wouldn’t be perfect, of course, but that was the point -- they didn’t want to accidentally crush the merchants after all. All they had to do was frighten the bandits into thinking at a rockslide was coming, and send them scattering to safety.
“Yeah. Ready.”
Working together again, they threw themselves at the rock to get it rolling. Once it had cleared the edge of the outcrop, Juno fell to his knees to stop himself from following -- and to stay out of sight of the bandits, so that they wouldn’t have any cause to believe that anything other than natural forces had started this.
“Hey -- it’s working!” He exclaimed, watching the boulder hurtle down. It made a lot of noise, and the bandits started pointing and yelling before it even got halfway down. Other, small bits of stone broke off to follow it, improving on the general effect… and sure enough, as they had hoped, the bandits quickly abandoned the caravan and ran back into the mountain-passage they had come from. The merchants looked quite terrified too, but as Juno had hoped, the rocks simply slid to a stop at the edge of the incline and didn’t roll any further.
A cloud of dust rose up for a moment, obscuring the caravan from view. When it cleared, they saw the merchants hastily making their escape.
“Well, that went… pretty well, all things considering.”

"Pretty well? I'd say that went fantastically! All thanks to you, of course. The brains of the operation gets the credit," Zumei laughed, proud that they had dealt with the bandits. "That'll show them. No raiding here tonight you evil bandits." Zumei kicked at the dirt, glancing over at the boy. It'd been a while since she'd really enjoyed doing anything, but hanging with Juno had been fun indeed. "Thanks for all this. I had a lot of fun. Even if it was a little dangerous. Hopefully your dad won't be mad." Stereochrome A small tag! Now to bed I go. <3
