Last time they failed and had to flee from the monster. Her ability was confusing them and making them hit each other or themselves. They were severely injured even though she tried to heal someone.
Yet, she wasn't giving up that easily. She knew if she get over this, she would obtain greater power.

Apparently, other knights noticed his plight and rushed in for a swooping rescue-hey, it's those guys again. "Sorry I can't be of use-!" He winced, noticing his battered body has been too weakened to swing the nodachi. Rei retreated to safety and started to tend at his wound.
