It was oddly convenient that Rilind had missed his swings because Yaholo's feet were not getting with the program at all. They kept finding the loosest parts of the dirt and slipping on stones! What was his brain trying to accomplish here? Did he subconsciously want to dance or something? This was no time for prancing around! He had to give Rilind the fight he asked for!
"Did it rain recently or something? The ground's like pudding!" He whined.

Rilind starred at Yaholo for a moment as he seemed to be struggling for a moment. There was a moment where he felt the desire to end their fight, feeling almost as though he was picking on him. He shook his head, moving forward to try to tackle Yaholo this time. He was nearly to the point where he was feeling better... though now he just wanted to keep up the fight because it was actually kind of fun. At least the battle with Yaholo was, even more so when he was looking so cute and kind of pathetic, complaining about the ground not being to his liking. He wondered if he was actually that upset about the ground of if he was putting on a front for Rilind? He couldn't quite tell but either way it was helping.

"Whoooaaa!" Yaholo exclaimed as Rilind moved to tackle him down. He managed to dodge the brunt of his attack but slipped on some mud while swinging back, sending him skidding onto his leg and splattering himself with mud. He gasped, huffed, and hopped to his feet again. "Well, I-" He paused, smirking. "We're going to need a bath after this, aren't we?"

Rilind was scrambling in the mud, chasing after Yaholo, intent upon trying to drag him down again... when there was mention of the two of them needing a bath after their tussle. It was enough to caused Ril's mind to wander, causing him to slip in the mud, completely failing at the attack that he was about to attempt.
Looking up at Yaholo he gave him a look and said, "Not fair! No distracting with talk of... baths." Not when it caused him to to think of other things as well! That completely threw off his fighting groove.

Yaholo burst into laughter. Oh, it wasn't fair, was it? This was a battle, and every tactic had to be used to gain some advantage, even if that tactic were a smug innuendo! He shuffled forward as Rilind slipped, only to slip himself, and skid well off target. He sat in the mud, his eyes tearing up as another round of laughter bounded out of his chest, and looked to Rilind.
"Look at us, we're like a couple of kids playing in the mud!" He heaved, slapping the ground.

Rilind gave a little snort as Yaholo likened them to children playing in the mud. He took a couple steps forward him, as though he were going to prove otherwise and show him that it was a sparring match and not some childish game in the mud. Of course just as he was thinking that he hit a bit of mud and ended up down in the mess alongside Yaholo. He blinked a couple times, lifting his hands up to look over at them, then nodded, "I... think you might be right." This wasn't going along the lines of a real match at all, was it? Instead the two of them were sort of looking foolish by this point.
Glancing over at Yaholo he debated on if he wanted to keep up the battle of not. It was getting harder the more mud that the two of them kicked up. Things were getting slippery and it was a bit hard to stand... still, he didn't want to just give up. He try to keep it up a little longer.

Yaholo continued to laugh as Rilind stood and ended up right beside him in the mud. They looked so silly, it was unbelievable! He tried to get up to stand again, only to slide against the mud and land on his side. Now he had mud all the way up to the side of his face! He looked so stupid!
"I'm so sorry, Ril!" He said, wiping his eyes. "You asked for a battle and you got mud-sliding instead!"

"It's better then nothing! I just... I don't like battles that look like they are about to start them are... nothing. I... already had to deal with that today. It leaves me with this awful, itchy feeling." He said as he tried to get up, managing to do so, though only to a point. He was able to stand for a moment, just long enough that he was able to throw himself forward in an attempt to tackle Yaholo.

Yaholo, no thoroughly covered in mud, did his best to scoot away from Ril's tackle, but ended up flopping against the ground like a slippery rag-doll. The wind was knocked out of him temporarily, leaving him heaving momentarily. Once he caught his breath though, he raised his hands up over his head and laughed.
"Pinned me again!" He said, smirking. "You should be more like this when we're alone and the kids are asleep."

Rilind starred at Yaholo with wide eyes and bright red cheeks, "W-Wait... what?" He murmured, head tilting to one side. This was something that he should do when they were alone and the kids were asleep? He starred for a long moment, then gave a bit of snort, "Well... Yaholo, if you look around we are alone now and they are probably distracted at the moment or else they would probably be out here in the mud too thinking they could get away with it."
Giving a grin he looked as though he might be preparing to pounce again.

Yaholo laughed as Rilind blushed. Well, it was true that they were alone now, but they couldn't just... Not out here, right? His face heated but his smirk stayed as he lifted himself upward and rolled so he could pin Rilind on his back. There, he chuckled, and leaned over his lover.
"I bet you can't roll me off." He teased.

Rilind gave a bit of a squeak as he found himself rolled onto his back, flailing a bit, before he starred up at him. He blinked a couple times as Yaholo set to teasing him about not being able to roll Yaholo off of him, "I know that I can!" He said, setting to working trying to do just that... and was able to succeed only in getting himself covered in that much more mud. It seemed as though Yaholo was going no where despite his claims that he knew that he could move Yaholo. It seemed that he was very much wrong on that claim.

Yaholo chuckled as Rilind tried to get free from his grip and held his pose over Rilind. He was enjoying the view of his lover from above, in all of his adorable, squeaking glory. He wiggled around as the space between them got more muddy and simply flopped against Rilind with a laugh.
"No you can't, no you can't!" He teased, sticking out his tongue.

Rilind set about squirming in place, doing his best to try to get Yaholo to move... but he did nothing more then manage to get himself squished all that much more. He gave a huffing sound, giving him a pout, then stuck his tongue out at Yaholo, "Big... oaf! You're going to squish me for sure!" He complained in a grumpy manner.
