To bad it was cut short by a dragon darting inward. Then, suddenly, Malik was out there, fighting and Whan's instinct was to go back home or hide literally under a rock. Lightening crackled and he yelped, shifting to make himself as small as possible while still trying to listen to the explanation going on as Malik continued to fight. He remained there, still, shaking slightly until the thing disintegrated and he slowly moved forward toward Malik again to grab the dragon soul and pocket it away before anyone really said anything about it.
"O-oh.." A blade of his own... That didn't sound like a bad idea at all. He needed to find a blade of his own, needed to find... a teacher of some sort.
There was more to this than he thought. With how winded Malik was, he wasn't sure if he had the strength. Malik seemed really strong and made this sort of look easy.. Ugh. Okay. "Find a blade of my own and a teacher.. That shouldn't... be too hard, right?"
He looked around timidly, and then back toward the village before letting his brows knit. "Is... Is that all of them?"
