For a moment, Ollie genuinely considered continuing up the mountain -- their goal in sight, he thought for sure he could get to it before Yu bled out or suffered permanent damage from her injuries. Duty, though, was to his fellow knight, and so with an unhappy whimper he loaded her up onto the horse to take her back for treatment.
Treatment. Rest. Maybe a quick rinse off. And then, determined, they could head out again.

"You can dump me there." Yu said as she packed her supplies for their third attempt. "If you find me a burden, it's better to go by yourself." The flat voice said. "I was severely injured at that time, and if the eagles done with me, they would go for you." She hopped onto her horse and started off.
The horse trotted a distance, before she halted it.
"Anyway, thanks." Her face was reddened but the extensive hair hid that, she then let her horse move again.

Thankfully, he caught himself before his doom was a certain thing, and sat gasping on the edge of the cliff for a long moment. Unfortunately, it seemed, some of their food had slipped out of his grasp, knocking against stones and breaking into tiny pieces on its way down: a warning of what could have been Ollie's fate.

"Are you okay?" The female knight rushed towards Ollie, after confirming he's alright. She was relieved and lost her consciousness, It felt hard to breathe and her stomachache was like being punched thousand times.
She took extreme caution on the surrounding so it won't be the food or drink intake, it was more like an infection. Luckily, her horse was with her and it would be Ollie's decision to go on alone when Honey took Yu back or he would be the one to take her home. Either way, he shall know the apprentice won't blame him.

Ollie was hardly going to leave Yu to her fate, after she had checked so kindly on him: so when her stomach cramped up, worried, he'd pull his horse up next to hers to make sure she didn't lose her seating, and when she got terribly sick, he'd be careful to escort her home. They could rest up, catch their breath, restock their supplies -- and then, more determined than ever, set out on another try.

She couldn't understand what he was thinking, why he didn't choose to dump her when she treated him so coldly. Yes, she was conscious of her meanness and her attitude towards male but she didn't care. Yet, a pang of guilt scared her when she looked at his perky smile.
It really scared her, for feeling bad - for wanting to treat him nicer.

Ollie remembered this path, as they made their way up again: his eyebrows knitted and his expression fierce. And yet, somehow, as they rounded a bend, he lost his footing in the same place as he did before, again scrabbling to find his balance and hold onto their supplies....
...and mostly he succeeded, grabbing a hold of bags and bundles and catching his breath as he watched some of it fall. His expression crumpled a bit. "...I'm sorry. I can't believe I did that again..."

She didn't blame him because her dumb horse had ran into a bee nest, suffered from the bee stings on its honey-colored pretty butt and became frantic. It raised up and dumped its owner to escape from the bees.
"Not again...." She sighed, turning to Ollie. "...I think I gave more troubles, don't mind your mistakes." She picked up the fallen longbow and scattered arrows. "What's the name of your mount?" She suddenly asked, it might be a sign of her own friendliness.

There was, it seemed, no such thing as karma -- because despite helping his partner, this time it was Ollie who was struck down my a sick stomach, who wouldn't continue forward and instead had to go back. He whimpered, shuddered, clinging to his horse as he turned around for treatment.

She played nurse for the first time in her life, for which she was better in plants, herbs thus medicines than the infirmary people on-duty. It felt awkward to wipe away the sweats on his forehead, feed him the medicines and help him to drink water by holding his weakened body with her arm. She didn't allow males to touch her, but she had to touch Ollie.
Yu tried to soften her voice when she said he will get well soon, and he did.
