Wilson had been through this journey numerous times and for some reason he did not have the ability to give up. He supposed this was a redeeming point of his, the ability to not give in when the times were tough. However, it was certainly tiring. He also could not help but throw his bag a guilty look when he began to shove in a bunch of food and other supplies into it. How much had he wasted on this failed expeditions? He had never bothered to count, but he was sure it was quite a bit. Unfortunately, it was too late to stop now. The road was bumpy as usual, but when he rode his horse the difference wasn’t that easy to pick up. He imagined walking would have made the journey all that much harder, but at least he had his trusty steed to keep him company and to help carry his things for Wilson. It made him feel a bit guilty knowing that he was making a creature do his dirty work for him, but he also could not deny how convenient it was. The horse came to a sudden stop and he realized there was something in the middle of the path. He got a feeling in his stomach as he dismounted and stepped closer. It was time to walk through the winding forest, and he could not help but wonder what he would encounter on his journey this time. Would it be a giant spider? Would his horse somehow run away from him again? His horse either did not like him or it did not like going on this journey, or perhaps it was even both. He could not quite tell, but he wished that his horse would stop running away from him. It was quite an inconvenience. Instead, he actually found some abandoned food on the road. A part of him wanted to say that taking suspicious food would do him in, but he decided to take some anyways.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 38 YOUR HP: 20

As expected, Wilson’s mount ended up running away from him as soon as he walked up to the entrance of the labyrinth. He turned around, sadly watching his mount’s figure shrink into the distance. He supposed he should have seen this coming, but it was still sad to see the steed go. He doubted it would return to him, so Wilson guessed he would have to obtain a new horse when he returned to Camelot. Losing an entire horse made him guilty. Horses were very difficult to raise in the long run, were they not?
With a sigh, he stepped into the labyrinth and tried his best to make it through unscathed. To his surprise, he managed to walk through this time with no major problems. That was fortunate.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 38 YOUR HP: 20
