The man was screaming a lot at first, there was so much blood and it was stark, vivid against the linens as it spread. Lawrence wasn't sure what to do, he tried cleaning the wound but more came and holding it together wouldn't make it stop. The blood kept on coming until he was soaked in it himself, just like the linens.
The man stopped screaming, quiet like a tiny mouse and let out a ragged exhale and was still.
Lawrence stood to attend to the next.

The next man was in a less critical condition, his leg was a maimed mess but it was primarily superficial, the main thing that seemed needing doing was cleaning it up. He wasn't sure how he knew this, but it simply felt like a logical conclusion, some basic instinct he could not understand, like walking.
He retrieved his bindings and alcohol, washed his hands of the blood from the other unfortunate and set to very careful and patient work.
Target 2/3 3. Someone is suffering a leg infection. They need BINDINGS +ALCOHOL. f you have this combo, you heal them for 5 HP

Another bleeding person, haemorrhaging. That was the word. That was what was happening. It needed to be stopped, it needed clamped, held, stopped cauterized He needed fire for that. He did not have any.
He called for some, but the others were busy and the woman had been bleeding when they brought her in. She faded like the other one. There was no sense of loss or defeat, only gleaned knowledge and the intention to use that knowledge next time.
Resolute in retrieving more supplies, he headed back over to look.
