His laugher quickly died when he heard the mournful sob of Riley, shocked at the obvious distress. Apparently reassuring her didn't do anything at all. He quickly got himself off the ground.
"R-Riley, i-it's really okay. Y-you don't have to apologize." Jason stammered trying to figure out what he could say to make the situation better. "I-it was my fault for underestimating you and t-the weight of those beads. A-and for tripping over Yuki. You're not to blame f-for my clumsiness." He looked even more worried when she placed those heavy beads back on and went to the table.
"P-please don't cry...It's not your fault at all, really!"
