❝ AN UNEXPECTED TREASURE ❞ REFLECTION feat. LA'GANN 75W "It has found a map within the Fortress' libraries today that it has not seen before; it believes, after some research, that the map is of Aisko. La'gann does not know much of Aisko, only that it is cold, but it will learn more. Perhaps Rohiryon will be able to tell it more of the continent. La'gann would like to some day visit Aisko, perhaps this map is a reason for it to do so."

❝ FLY ❞ SOLO PART I feat. LA'GANN, ROHIRYON 570W "If it's the path of the dragon you seek, La'gann, then perhaps the path of a Sect member is not the one for you."
Rohiryon's voice seemed to rumble through La'gann's ears like old stones shifting beneath new weight. It was a familiar tone, to the young apprentice- comforting, in the sense that it had never changed. Stable, like the man it belonged to. La'gann had never heard Rohiryon's voice raise above a pleasant murmur, though La'gann's own had been raised plenty of times towards the older Firani male.
"The path of a Sect member is the only one it knows how to walk!" There's hesitation in La'gann's voice as they let their gaze drop from Rohiryon's aged-roughened face to the Fortress floor beneath them. The marble had been recently polished; La'gann could see their reflection in the shining white. Eyes hidden beneath pink fringe, a mouth seemingly always quirked upright; the scars they'd earned from a young dragonling's claws. Their face was as familiar as Rohiryon's voice, yet it brought no comfort to the Dovaa; instead it only elicited a frown. Weak little thing, they thought to themself before pulling their eyes back up to look Rohiryon full on. The man had not said anything in response to La'gann's hesitation, only sat in patience; as though waiting for his younger companion to continue. It did not take much to prompt La'gann to speak their mind. It never did, and Rohiryon knew that well of his charge. "It knows only of the world what its books and its allies has taught it! Never has it even left the Celestial Plane..." La'gann's fists curl and uncurl by their sides, their mouth is pressed into a thin line, scar particularly prominent on their strong jaw. "To become a Sect member is what is familiar to it, to battle- is- is completely against the Sect's pledge!"
"A pledge," Rohiryon's voice rumbles like an earthquake might, buried deep within the ground. "That you yourself have yet to take- and very well can take, once you have fulfilled what you feel needs to be. In this case, discovering your True Form." The old Master Dovaa stands up to his full height; towering nearly two feet above La'gann. He turns to one of the tall windows lining the Fortress' walls, and gestures towards the multitude of Dovaa shuffling about the grounds below. La'gann recognized the majority of them as Sect members, and could also spot the wizened old faces of Priests and other important elders to the society. "Many of the Sect members have lived out various differing histories; histories that they built before their time with the Sect. You do not have to rob yourself of your own making, simply because you grew up within these walls. The Pledge is not one that everyone can make- nor should feel inclined to. It is one that a being should choose, willingly, after having known all the other options life has to offer." Rohiryon's large hand fell to La'gann's shoulder and the elder gave a comforting squeeze. "Fear of change is not unheard of, young one; but if everyone stayed within the walls they were birthed in, where do you think the world would be? Everyone is scared, and any man or woman that tells you different is lying! It's important to not let that fear control you. If your heart says fly, then you must fly!"
