 Once they were inside of Zak's apartment, Luna looked at him as she laid down on the floor with a slight groan as she did. She then watched Zak before saying, "Thank you for letting me stay here. I promise not to be a burden on you." telepathically before wagging her tails at him happily.

 "Uhhh....you're welcome?" said Zak, sounding a little unsure to if he was actually hearing her or just imagining things. "I'll do my best to take care of you. Be right back." He added, before leaving the room. He came back into the room a moment later with a couple towels from the bathroom, so Luna could use them as a bed in the main room.

Luna then laid on the towels. Though after a while, she was not very comfortable. It was almost midnight so she didn't want to bother Zak. He had already done so much for her. She then turned into her kitsune form, went to the kitchen, and was going to get a drink of water but then she winced as the baby kicked her bladder. She ran to the first bathroom she could find, needing to do her business. She sighed as she flushed hoping Zak wouldn't be mad at her for not telling him what she really was.

Zak rubbed his eyes as he got up from his bed, needing to use the bathroom. He walked down the hall of his apartment then froze as a woman, a kitsune woman even, emerged from it. He blinked several times, "Ummm...hello? Who are you?" He had an eyebrow raised with the rest of his bewildered expression.

Luna jumped a bit when Zak talked to her. "I'm sorry if I woke you master. I'm Luna, the fox you bought..... Please don't be upset with me for not telling you sooner. I had to make sure I could trust you." she said as she put her ears back and bowed as much as she could. Being from another planet, she was not familiar with earth's customs. She did know however that her kind were slaves here and so she was already a maid on her planet, she was doing what she thought she needed to in order to get any kindness from her master. Being pregnant as well, wasn't helping her wasn't helping with her bow as her belly was showing and was protruding like she was almost due.

Zak remained quiet a long moment, unable to stop staring at her pregnant belly. He shook his head quickly, looking back up at her face. He hesitantly lifted up her chin by his hand, so she wasn't bowing so low anymore. He knew some about kitsunes, but not very much and was very surprised that his new pet happened to be one. "You don't need to do that... Though... I am kind of curious about you now... Are all kitsunes shapeshifters?"

Luna shook her head at his question. "Not all but there are some that are shape shifters. Though on my planet we call those who can protectors. It is a rare talent that my kind has. Only one kitsune every ten generations, are born with this ability. Though the only exception is if both parents are shifters." she explained blushing as she felt the baby moving some. She winced but only because baring a child was tough on her body. "I'm so sorry master.......I didn't mean to go into a story." she added as she put her ears back in embarrassment.

Zak smiled a little. "Do you mind if..." He reached out and gently put a hand on her middle. "They seem to be kicking an awful lot." He looked back up at her face and asked, "So do you know how many you're having? And far along you are? I'm not that familiar with pregnancy, let alone kitsune pregnancy. Oh! And is there anything I can do for you? Since well...you are pregnant." He sounded excited and full of questions now, getting over his initial surprise.

Luna was a bit surprised but answered his questions. "Well as far as I know I'm having twins and I'm seven months along. Kitsune gestation periods are much like a human pregnancy. The only difference is the ears and tail. Also I don't need anything right now master. Though you could explain your planet's customs for some things. Like why my kind are wearing collars and doing all the hard work......?" she said hoping to find out why her kind were being treated like animals while she wasn't.

"Wow...ummm...well..." said Zak, rubbing the back of his neck while glancing away from Luna for a brief moment. Then he looked back at her as he answered her, "Kitsunes are seen as subhuman and are treated as servants...or slaves..." He held up his hands defensively, "But I don't! I didn't even know... I'm sorry..."

Luna smiled and said "I could tell from the moment I saw you that you are a kind soul. I do not mean to be an inconvenience but would you mind if I stayed wit you? I doubt anyone would let me have my own place to raise these two." she then blushed a bit as she'd never been shown this amount of kindness before she met Zak.

Zak smiled and shook his head. "No of course I don't mind. I was expecting to have a new companion anyway.. Eheh. Though I guess now you're really more of company now aren't you?" He smiled encouragingly at her.

I guess you're right." she said smiling as she felt she was being encouraged to do so. "Thank you for letting me stay. I'll do my best not to be a bother." she added before she started feeling tired.

"Yes...well...you should probably sleep in the bed," said Zak, glancing to the side as he rubbed his arm. "You'd be more comfortable in there anyway. Since, well, you know..."

"I don't want to take yurt bed though...... If it's okay I can take the couch. I don't mind. It's your home and you should have the bed." Luna said smiling sleepily. She didn't mend sleeping on the couch if it would be easier.
