Zahra gave pause, her mismatched antennae giving a momentary twitch as she starred at Teiluj. After a long moment, and after realizing that her friend wasn't just messing with her, she started to giggle, her whole body shaking with delight, "Oh! Tei-Lulu! I swear, if you didn't already have a boyfriend I might steal you away for my own, you're so cute!" She said as she patted her friend on the shoulders. Oh geez, she was so cute! It was no wonder that her Oban boyfriend snatched her up she thought to herself, "Ahhh, sorry, sorry! What I mean is, go out with him, go on a walk, have a meal together, chat him up, then you end with a kiss! That's what a date is. Never been able to enjoy one before myself but I have at least heard about others getting to do such wonderful things!" Clapping her hands together, and after giving Jowe a nudge, she said, "We can only hope that one day we are able to find ourselves cuties like Lulu, huh?" Giving Teiluj a little wink Zahra did her best to get her giggles under control. She didn't want to upset her friend after all since she did so love hanging out with Teiluj after all. "Where we want it to go? Well, I'd like to wear mine the same as you're wearing yours, of course! They are a friendship symbol after all and having them matching that would look best I feel." Holding out the glittering gift to Teiluj she leaned over so that her friend should show her how to put the piece of simple jewelry into place. Save for the necklace she wore, and the rings in her hair, she didn't wear much jewelry. Having Teiluj help her out the first time she put the item on would be helpful, just so she'd get it right any other time she put the ear cuff on.

Joweese couldn't help but laugh Teiluj's question. A girl with a boyfriend not knowing what a date was is a little silly to think about, wasn't it? Maybe she met him and they just clicked? No date needed? The Alkidike let the idea roll around in her head until Zahra engaged her.
"Yes! I hope my girlfriend is just as cute as you, Tei!" She cheered. "Maybe she'll have your pretty hairstyle..."
She allowed herself to be distracted by her thoughts of what her future girlfriend would look like. Hmm... She knew she liked ice earthlings and short hair... Maybe there would be a perfect girl for her like that? She tilted her head and pursed her lips, before returning to the conversation.
"Oh, oh! I want to match the both of you!" She exclaimed, nodding.

Teiluj's eyes opened wide as her face grew another shade darker. She knew it was gentle teasing but she really didn't know what a 'date' was. She had never really been on one herself and didn't know how to properly engage someone for a date. Her attention quickly turned back to the items as she plucked them carefully back from each girls hands.
"o-ok I'll show you first Zahra by using Joweese... uh... that is... if it's ok?" Reaching forward Teiluj's fingers slid along Joweese ear, her other hand holding the cuff up with a good alignment. "They kinda cling on, it hurts a little at first b-but..." Teiluj shifted to get a better vantage point but refrained from putting on the cuff. "S-so you have to be sure you really want it. This is how you slide it on."
Teiluj went through the motions carefully, fully aware of her close proximity. The last time she had been this close to an Alkidike other than her mother was with V'demhe. That had resulted in a very intimate connection the Alkidike had initiated. Touching her lips quietly Teiluj shifted back into a sitting position holding the cuff between her thumb and index finger. "S-so do you want it?"

Zahra smiled when her twin agreed with her about finding a girlfriend as cute as Teiluj was. They could only be so lucky, so here was to hoping she thought to herself with a bit of a smile on her lips. She was all for finding the woman, or man she wasn't picky, no matter if that meant traveling to do so or not. A shame that now really wasn't the time for such things, instead knowing that she needed to stick close to home. One day, maybe, but for now she would rather stick close to her family and friends, to make sure that they were all kept safe and sound.
"Alright, sounds good." Zahra said, ready to watch as Teiluj prepared to demonstrate how to put the ear cuffs into place on Joweese first. It hurt a little, huh? She supposed that it made sense, with earrings they had to punch a hole through your ear for you to be able to wear them. The cuff didn't sound as though it went that far, she said that they would cling on. Maybe it just had to be squeezed into place to keep it from falling off straight away? The only way to see exactly was to watch and then follow suit.
Looking at her twin she asked, "So, are you all ready, Jowe? Come on, sis, be brave!" She gave a wink before looking at Teiluj and said, "It will be alright, Jo-Jo is pretty tough, I am sure that she will survive the ear cuff being put in place." At least she sure hoped so, if she was defeated by a pink ear cuff she would be a little on the shocked side.

Joweese sat up straight as Teiluj came closer to her, her cheeks dusting red. She'd never been this close to anyone other than her family before, and... Honestly she didn't know how to feel except for excited. She focused on Tei's words as best she could and turned her head to show more of her ear.
"Okay, like Zahra said, I'm tough!" She chimed, nodding. "I can handle it, no worries! Go ahead and slide it on, Tei!"
She couldn't wait to see what it looked like later! It was such a pretty little cuff, she was sure it would look lovely regardless of how much it hurt. Maybe she should style her hair differently so she could show it off more? Like a bun or something? She smiled. This was all so exciting!

Teiluj had noticed the slight color in Joweese face and while she wanted to say something along the lines of don't fall for me. She knew it would be far from on point. Nodding with a grunt after looking back towards Zahra for confirmation. Teiluj clenched her jaw. "Ok you were warned Jowe..." Moving as slowly as possible so the other twin could see how it worked. It was probably more painful than she intended it to be and quickly pushed her healing skills into her fingertips which she brushed along Joweese's ear in order to lessen the pain as she moved.
"That's how you put it on. I used some healing to keep the pain from getting to you, but you probably shouldn't try it yourselves." Smiling she squeezed Joweese's shoulder. You did really well, I'm sorry if it caused you alot of pain. After Zahra... I can try to conjure up some water so you can see what it looks like."
Turning back to the the twin Teiluj had assumed to be the older of the pair she gave a nod and held up the next ear cuff. "Are you still ok having your's put on?"

Zahra watched, closely so as not to miss anything, as Teiluj squeezed the ear cuff into place on Joweese's ear after giving the ominous words of how she'd warned her. It was impressive, that she could sound for a moment so intimidating before squeezing the thing into place. Once it was there she said that was how it was put on and that she'd used some healing to ease Jowe's pain. Giving a smile, her antennae giving a twitch, Zahra said, "That was sweet of you to do, Tei."
Turning to look her sister's ear over she said, "It looks very cute on you! And look, you match Lulu very well now!" Turning back to her friend gave a rapid nod of her head, "Yep! Me next, me next!" She told her, pulling back her dreadlocks so that they were out of the way and tilted her head just so, allowing Teiluj full access to her ear. The way that she saw it if Jowe was able to deal with the pain then she could do it too! She didn't want to look like she was weak or scared or anything. Not as though there was a lot to worry about though since Teiluj had the ability to heal her ear after putting the cuff into place.
"I'm ready! Let's do this, Lulu!" She said this with a clap of her hands and a twitch of her antennae, ready to get her ear cuff put on.

Joweese stayed perfectly still as the ear cuff was slid on and only winced a little. It wasn't particularly pleasant, but nothing pretty ever came without a little pain. She smiled, broadly, as Tei moved away and went to touch the place where the cuff sat.
"It was fine, don't worry, Tei!" She assured, squeezing Tei's hand back before turning to Zahra. "Do I really? I mean, does it really look cute on me?"
She blushed and pulled at her dreads. Well, if she looked cute, it was all thanks to Teiluj! She wanted to hug the blonde again as a thank you, but refrained as she moved toward Zahra.
"You go Za-Za! You're gonna look so pretty!" She giggled.

Teiluj took in a deep breath, certain now that the girls weren't going to take this roughly and suddenly strike out for the injury she was sure she was causing them. Her breath rushed out in a shaky wave as she shifted closer to Zahra in order to repeat the process only this time making sure that Joweese could see what Teiluj was doing. Giving ample instructions as she went just as she had before. It was important the girls know how the cuffs went on incase of injury or needing to remove them later.
Once the cuff was in place Teiluj once again worked her magic into her fingers and attempted to dull the pain in the ear. Shifting back to get a better look at her handy work she nodded without a word and cupped her hands as if trying to hold onto some water. It took a great deal of concentration before Teiluj could fully gather enough water magic to create a type of reflection the girls could use to see themselves.

"I think that it looks very cute, Jo-Jo! I am sure you will get the attention of all of the ladies, maybe even some of the men." She said with a chuckle and a wink before turning her attention back to Teiluj once more, allowing her friend to put the ear cuff into place. It was a piece of jewelry that, while small, held a great deal of significance to Zahra and meant a lot to her. It was an important piece and she meant to protect it just as she'd protect the necklace she wore. Both the shells and the ear cuff were important ties to friends that she cared for, and she would keep the jewelry safe.
Once the piece was in place, and the bite of pain had been healed, she stood upright, tilting her head slightly to show off the ear cuff, "What do you think? Am I the most beautiful of all of Aisha's children or what?" Something that she tried very hard to sound serious about. Hard to do though when her eyes were sparkling with mirth and she was struggling to hold back giggles. That amount of arrogant self love was something that Zahra really didn't have, though when it came to making that sort of joke, that she would do. No reason not to enjoy making fun jokes after all or so she felt.
As her friend, with all of her magical prowess, summoned up some water Zahra looked herself over in its surface before giving a smile, "Oooo, very nice! Thank you, Tei-Lulu! You really are the best Lulu ever!" She said, not that she'd met any others, but that didn't matter, Teiluj was still the best one!

Joweese watched carefully as Teiluj worked her magic and fixed Zahra's ear cuff on where it needed to be. A part of her, deep inside, wished she could have been born half-human so she could have learned magic, it just looked so fun! There was so much you could do with it, too! You could heal the sick, poison the evil, and make all sorts of potions with it! However, Joweese was sure that she'd use her magic to make pranks, and paint the entirety of Jauhar rainbow. It would be the prank of the century!
"Ooooh, I wouldn't let mom hear that!" Joweese laughed, giving Zahra a nudge. "But you are very beautiful! ... I mean, how could you not, with me as your twin?"
She chuckled and moved to tie her hair back so she could show off the ear cuff, and looked up to Teiluj.
"You're the best Tei, really, you are!" She exclaimed, nodding. "I wish there was something we could give you in return!"

Teiluj shifted nervously at the complements, she didn't know how to respond except to duck her head a little and turn away from it. There was no telling if it was a joke they shared at her expense or if they really meant it. "I think the cuffs suit both of you." Teiluj nodded slowly as her eyes glaced out into the forest. The uneasy feeling of something watching her made her hair prickle before Joweese mentioned wishing she had something to give her in return.
Shaking her head quickly from side to side, Teiluj touched the braids in her hair, gliding her finger along until it settled on the matching cuff on her own ear. "I-i-i I don't need anything." Waving a hand in front of her Teiluj blushed. "I was being presumptuous thinking that we would all share one. I'm just glad you two took the gift. I am happy about that." She gave a soft smile and bit the inside of her lower lip. Part of her expected the twins to run off and leave her now. She had no idea what to do from here.
