The last thing you can remember is a bright light suddenly surrounding you, and feeling as if you were being pulled toward something. The next thing you know, you wake up in a large house, lying on a plush white carpet. Most of the wooden walls are covered by bookshelves crammed to the bursting point with books, magazines, and a random assortment of other items. Two very old air conditioning units are hanging on the back wall, blowing a slight and steady breeze of cool air into the room while someone is making a strong-smelling tea in the kitchen.
Before you can even lift your head up, a small pink creature flies above you and gives you a huge, cheerful smile. This small pink creature, if you were wondering, is called a MarineAngemon, and it is happy to see you.
"Hey, Karina!" it calls in a sing-song voice. "I think you should come see!"
A whole new story is about to begin.

~( Kyla : ?????: ?????)~
‘Unfamiliar ceiling…’ Where was the light source coming from? When was it day time? She pushed herself up- or tried… But before she could, something moved into her field of vision. Small fluffy… big green eyes. Little red heart on it’s breast and- wait.. wait wait… Kyla’s mind was going a mile a minute, enough to freeze her in place, much to the karmic relief she did not scream or make a fuss, just gawk. She gawked silently as recognition identified the creature and subsequently debated if she was awake or still asleep. Surely she went back to bed after her cup of tea, and this is what she gets for staying awake for 4 days… really REALLY trippy dreams! “Y…you’re.. wait you’re.” She pushed herself the rest of the way up, eyes blinking and adjusting to the lighting.
“..Dreaming.. I’m dreaming.. probably…” but at least she could enjoy it to some extent.

{Bobbi .:. ??? .:. ???}
"Hey, Karina! I think you should come see!"
What…?
An inarticulate groan escaped Bobbi as her eyes opened, slowly adjusting to her surroundings. The first thing she noticed—aside from the voice—was the gentle breeze of the AC units. She heard a voice off to the side that wasn't the first one, a feminine voice that sounded familiar for some reason. It wasn't Tricia, or Rebecca. It certainly wasn't Bobbi's mom. Then who…?
Bobbi levered herself up into a sitting position, rubbing her eyes underneath her glasses to clear the last of the dazzle from them. That light—she'd thought it was a car. Which would have been impact number five, and she had figured after her epic face-plant into concrete last year that her next accident would be fatal. Maybe it was and this was the afterlife? Not heaven, surely, but… A weird kind of limbo. With air conditioning. Because that made sense. Uh-huh. Yep. Totally.
Done rubbing her eyes, Bobbi glanced over to where the two voices had come from, and had to do a double-take. Through Facebook pictures, her art of herself, and coupled with that oddly familiar voice that wasn't slightly distorted by being passed through electronic devices, so she couldn't be sure if it was her voice… could it be?
"…Kyla?"

~( Kyla : ?????: ?????)~ Another voice in the room- and for a second she thought that was the unseen Karina this creature- MarineAngemon-holy is that REALLY what she was looking at???
Shuffling to one side she looked around, and steadily the book cases came into view. She noticed she was on a white carpet, matching the white nightgown she was in. A blurr to her side with it’s flap open must be her side satchel- but… Someone was moving to her right- she heard her speak again. This time she thought she recognized it- wait.. no way.. this was just too weird. It Had ot be a dream- but she had to be sure.
With a groggy goran she pushed herself up off the floor, toddled over towards the other girl and then dropped down her knees infront fo her- “B..booobii??..Issthat you? I- I can’t tell I dun have my glasses on… Maaaan this is a weird dream-“ she inched closer blinking her big brown eyes in the other girls face. The other girl laughed nervously and tilts her head to one side making her disheveled hair fall in her face.
“Y- you looking really ..real you know… this.. isn’t wa-wait..” she slumped onto her side and looked around, hand fished the floor instinctively. Her glasses, she REALLy needed them. “I.. I gotta be dreaming I mean- that’s a digimon over there and I’m still in my pajamas… this is what I get for staying awake 3 plus days… I should have listened to my mom..”

[[Saeran : ??? : ???]][[Cue: 遠景Ⅰ 万象の祭宴 by QLocks]] Voices. Foreign voices. Mother must have company over, ugh, I wish they'd keep it down. The voices continued, they sounded close. Too close. From his seat on a nearby chair Sei parted his eyelids slightly. His revelation came with a sudden and sharp breath through his nose accompanied by a cold sweat. His glasses sat on the end of his nose and threatened to fling across the room as he whipped himself up from his slouched over position. His heart raced, where was he? How'd he get there? He had just gotten home from work, right? He'd been sitting by his computer on his desk chair and... now he was... As his mind began to catch up with his body and his heartbeat slowed, he looked to the source of the voices, they sounded so familiar. He adjusted his glasses and rubbed his eyes. This isn't real, he thought as he swallowed, It can't be. I'm sleeping. This is all just a dream. He laughed and sighed, he'd had lucid dreams before. This one would be simple to deal with, all he needed to do was will himself awake and this little game of his mind would be over. He closed his eyes and thought to himself, Wake up, and opened his eyes. He was still there. He frowned, normally that worked. The act of closing and opening his eyes in his dreams usually woke him, opening his eyes in reality to rip him from whatever nonsensical fantasy that he was stuck with. Oh come on. I got over these sorts of dreams years ago, they're just disappointing, he sighed while rubbing his aching eyes again. Hold on, they ached. His eyes hurt like they did when he first woke up. The heaviness of his eyelids, the soreness of his throat, the rough brush of his jeans against his legs, the pull on his tired muscles from sleeping in such an awkward position. They were all there, not dulled or muted by the veil of sleep. Whatever this was... it was the most realistic dream he'd ever had. But there still was one way to tell... he reached up, slowly, quietly, and without a word, then swiftly slapped his palm with a resounding clap against his cheek. It stung. He blinked harder, looked at the two women. Blinked again. His face contorted with confusion and formed an unintentional glare as he concentrated on the spectacle before him. This wasn't a dream? He still glared. Not a dream? Still glaring. Still no words. Those two voices were Kyla and Bobbi, he'd known the two of them for years... but they'd never once met. They lived hundreds to thousands of miles apart, how could they? This was absurd. Still, he had to ask... "Are you... real?" he asked still in a daze.

[ Karina and Asura : File City : Asura's House ]
"If this is a dream, it's been a hell of a long one," replied a voice heavy with fatigue from the kitchen in the back. The sentence was accompanied by a sudden light metallic clang of a lid being placed onto a pot, slightly lessening the scent of spiced tea that wafted through the house. It was only seconds later that a woman in a tied-up nightgown entered the room, leaning on a wooden cane, giving a fleeting glance to each child - in comparison of age to her - that had suddenly decided to make themselves useful by changing themselves into living room decorations. Unfortunately, they weren't in her taste, so they'd have to leave. But then again, it had been a long time since... She shook her head slowly, sending her long grey locks swaying this way and that.
"In any case, welcome to our house. I'll let you stay until your friends wake up, but then you have to leave, understood?"
"Karina, don't be mean!" scolded the pink floating creature, who zipped through the air to hover next to her friend. "They look lost and confused after all. You shouldn't be such a rude young lady."
"I'm twenty years older than you!" the human shouted.
"But your maturity level doesn't show it!" the pink thing snapped back.
"So then," the old woman named Karina said in a more calm tone, diverging immediately from the argument as if this were a completely normal thing to do. "While the rest of you are still in the process of rejoining the waking world, I might as well cover the introductions. My name is Karina, and this is my partner Asura. Now... I'll give you all three guesses as to where you are. And here’s a hint: It sure as hell isn't Kansas.

((Aira-?????-???))
Well apparently being knocked out for at least some time, once Aira woke up, she was on her back screaming her lungs out as she freaked out for awhile. It's surprising the pipes on this girl, she was damm loud enough to be a police siren.
"If you are going to take my organs take one kidney please! I only need the other one to live!" Really, that was her first thought when she happened to be whisked off somewhere, holding her bag as a safety squishy thing as the girl's eyes dart back and forth at everything before being completely sure of where she was. God she doesn't think her heart can take anymore of the rattling in her chest. Ow the pain...
"....God please don't tell me it's another prank show thing. I hate bad programming on low budget networks using stupid people to bring in views. I rather be behind the video village thank you." Muttering to herself, the first thing Aira did after putting the heavy bag on the floor near her feet was stretch upward to check the height of the room. Didn't touch a roof, it's clear that she wasn't in a tiny box or something or by illusion.
While being late the party, as soon as voices of the two was heard, the snarky comment she been saving up for years finally came to play. "Yeah sure, and lets follow the yellow brick road to the wizard alright?" In hindsight, it wasn't as good as she thought it would be as she said it out loud in the most annoyed voice possible. She is losing study time, and that's a big problem. Also being somewhat genre savvy, using her own memory of too many hours on TvTropes, she face-palmed with a follow up of, "Please don't tell me this is some alt-universe, muti-verse, video game, anime, dimension jumping, or along the lines of we are not on earth anymore puny mortals please." Oh the glorious attempts to ram the fourth wall down with her forehead, actually looking at what was in the room, her next words pretty much sums up her thoughts.
"Dear lord, I don't have to take the midterm anymore. Worth."

{James : ??? : ???}
The first thing James became aware of were voices, they seemed familiar to the young man though with his head still feeling a bit foggy he wasn't entirely sure. He turned his head slightly, as if doing so would make the voices quieter and he could just go back to... resting? He hadn't been resting before, he had been hiking and as far as he knew he had been alone.
'Did I pass out or something...? Not drink enough water or something...?' He thought as he slowly opened his eyes.
He was inside, the sight of an unfamiliar ceiling greeted him along with the feeling of cool air conditioning. Had someone found him and taken him to their place to recover? He wasn't sure. Groggily he closed his eyes again, trying to tune out the voices to no avail. It had started with just two, then three other ones tuned in. With a groan followed shortly afterwards by a sigh he deemed that going back to resting wasn't going to be possible. His eyes opened again and he started to sit up. His legs remained on the floor and his back straight as he slowly tried to rise once, only to fall back down.
'The heat outside must have really taken it out of me,' He thought as he turned his head to get a better look at where he was.
His lethargy disappeared though as he saw none other than one of his best friends, Mizu and Kyla? He was pretty sure it was her, he had seen pictures of her from Facebook as well as the things she drew herself. Them being where he was made no sense... Last he knew Mizu was in Omaha, Kyla still in Canada... and he was in Illinois. With another groan he managed to sit upright.
"Mizu... Kyla?" he asked, not entirely sure if he could trust his eyes.
His ability to trust them came even more into question upon seeing the strange pink flying thing, or maybe it was a random girl's screaming like a banshee that was messing with his head?. Either way it seemed he had sat up apparently just in time for introductions to an older woman who introduced herself as Karina and the pink creature as Asura. He had been conscious long enough to hear her say whatever was going on it apparently wasn't a dream, the sore muscles and fatigue he was feeling were proof enough of that. He looked around the small house they were in, looking for any kind of clue as to where they were. The living room they were in gave no real indication, the only thing even slightly out of the ordinary was the strange pink flying creature that was talking to Karina. The general appearance was definitely nothing of Earth. However, aside from that James didn't recognize it. For some reason though he had a strong feeling the others did.
'Either that or heat stroke has made me completely delusional and I'm just imagining this whole thing...'

~(Kyla: ??? : ???)~
The befuddled girl continued to fish around for her glasses when much to her relief she found it not too far away from her satchel on the floor. She could hear more voices, people actually calling her by name- Two male, and one more female, yelling, of all things, as a much older woman came walking in. So their stay was temporary- nice introduction. Like Walmart- get your s**t and get out- right? Rubbing her eyes, Kyla turned around and fixed her expression on a set of people around the room, those who looked just as equally shocked, were- James?... and.. she squinted, she had only seen a picture or two… Was that…Saeran? There was Bobbi- and Aira?! She was here too?! She knew all of these people!
“James? Saeran? …A-aira what are you.. doing h- wait…” she kept saying that, it was starting to annoy her. Her mind was trying to figure out why her friend who were thousands of miles apart-were somehow in the same room she was. A room with an old woman, and a real…. Live… Digimon.
NO freaking…WAY! As if reality finally caught up to her, her head snapped back, she stumbled to her feet, which felt more wobbling than usual.. Kyla started looking around for a window. “This is the most… elaborate prank I’ve ever seen…” she muttered, clarity sharpening more by every second that passed. She could feel her extremities now in full focus, felt the air passing through her nightgown, the bareness of her feet on the floor. She could hear the sound of the strange woman moving around, and the flutter of feathers from Marin- Asura- flying about in mid air.
“This is the digital world? Or something of the like… b- but how did we all?” she spun around, thinking. She didn’t remember bring at a terminal of any kind. No lights, or auroras-.. wait but she did remember a light. “- that star…hit me an...nothing more.” Reaching a hand she scratched her own head. Blinked, hard, thinking. This was- she smacked her cheeks a few times. Looked around the room again. A mixture of emotions boiling in her belly, making her chest tight clamped over her in just one word, -shock.
These people were real, and she knew them all. Or these was the most real dream she’d ever had since she was 5. Maybe a power line struck her head and she was in a coma, like that guy in Eternal Sonata? No- better not think like that, too scary.
She was in a room with lots of books, the smell of tea- several people she knew- which made it less scary.. and a digimon. A REAL live digimon.. that part- sparked a very real and surviving childish excitement she made a point to never let die.
“The digital world… right? This is it? I- I don’t remember anything except the light.”

[ Karina and Asura : File City : Asura's House ]
A sly smile made its way onto the woman's weary face, and she nodded to the girl who had been fumbling around for her glasses.
"That's right. So, you know about Digimon, huh? I can't believe that's a coincidence. Well, I don't have a clue why you suddenly cluttered up our living room, but I'm sure that whatever the reason, I'm not going to end up liking it in the long run. That's just like people, isn't it? You do something nice for them one time, and they decide to dump all their brats on you for a babysitting job. Well, you'll pardon my lack of enthusiasm or give-a-damn, as these two old ladies have had enough fun to last the rest of our lives."
"Kariiiinaaa!" Asura wailed, tugging on her partner's gown. "You have to at least help them a little bit! Remember how dumb and clueless you were when you first got here? What if they're-"
"What's that supposed to mean, you hag?" Karina shouted, waving her fist in the air.
"Just what I said, old bat!"
"Uh-huh! Fly closer to me when you say that!"
"You want a piece of me? Anytime you feel froggy, go ahead and jump, you withered old crone!" It was clear that the two were so caught up in their argument that the fact that their house was occupied by several young humans had slipped their minds.

((Aira-?????-?????))
Oh god, no holy what the for the void sake- This was getting as weird as Rek Sai's tunnel mechanics, which to this day she still can't get it correct. Weirder than having Zilean ult Karthus with a Guardians Angel glitchtastic as that is. Anyways, turning to the person who said her name, the girl only gave a sweep look head to toe at the other and raised an eyebrow and spoke.
"Kyla why are you like, in your nighties?" Seriously this girl's mind stands to be only on the one way track of weird. That's some dedication to the unholy powers of the crazy. "You might catch a cold, and then spread it everywhere. And you know when you get a cold it sticks to you like forever man." More like how the hell is she herself full dressed and the others in the room dressed differently for different times of the day. Oh well, probably some time screwing one way or another.
Totally missing the point of everything in general, she finally turned to the loud pair and shouted, "Oi get a room you two!" And then followed up with, "Wait if we are here, does time flow normally or when we return it will be the exact moment we left since that would be awesome and I could get like hours of cramming in before the test and all." Ending it off with, "God the pink, it burns into my eye sockets and make them liquefy and leak out in goo trailing down like burning tears."
One thing to note, Aira speaks a lot when she is borderline freaking out and say the oddest to the stupidest things.
Actually taking in everything else, Aira blinked awkwardly as she realized the only person she knew personally was Kyla, and in a room of a bunch of strangers she only knew because from the overlooking shoulder or the mentioning of them made her feel....well rather like s**t actually. Not only she isn't in the mood to make friends, mind that she is never in the mood to actually make friends at all, the girl instantly grabbed her heavy bag and walked to the nearest wall. Pressing her back towards the flat surface, eyes of daggers searched each and every single person, including Kyla. Hell no she isn't going to let her best friend die to weird s**t or have the Twisted Fate to Graves syndrome happen. God she is on the ball with all these League of Legends references, how only her buddies can hear her now.
Suddenly tight lipped, the girl started feeling and reorganizing her backpack to fit everything in Tetris style, looking for the specific object which she clasped her tiny fingers around near the bottom of the bag in a plastic grey box and the most psychopathic smile possible spread on her face. Good, she had most of her sewing kit on her, meaning she is still pretty much able to defend herself against other humans. Hell she really didn't care about defending against Digimon because as any zombie movie as said, the most dangerous one are the humans who still have their brains.
Waiting to hear more from the ones whom seem to know what is going on, her instincts to search everything kicked in as she shuffled around the room looking at everything.

[ Song : File City : Asura's House ] A sudden flash of light and next Song knew, her laptop was no longer on a table and she was desperately flailing to fix the problem. At the last moment, she managed to secure the thin machine between her arms and her legs. Albeit, the laptop was bent a little awkwardly and Song desperately hoped she hadn't scratched the screen but since it was meant to be one of those super-flexible touch screen varieties, she had her hopes that she didn't have anything to worry about. Gingerly, the credential student lifted her laptop, checked to make sure all was well with it, neatly folded it, and finally looked up to figure out why the desk she was using had disappeared and why her butt was now sitting on something soft, a sofa, rather than the familiar hardness of uncomfortable school chairs. First was straight forward, right at an arguing old lady and a... floating... pink... thing?... Then she looked to her sides. A variety of unfamiliar faces, the most noticeable being someone who was only in her pajamas. The voices, no longer distorted by electronics, were only vaguely familiar to Song, like a tickle in the back of her mind. Sadly, compared to the otherworldly creature in the room, the tickle was rather insignificant. Song's eyes were drawn back to the light pink creature. Now, this thing, she was sure she had seen before. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, though. What she did know was that this was not an animal. The existence of the pink creature was physically impossible in the natural world. First of all, it defied the laws of gravity and aerodynamics. The entire time, Song was eerily silent, a rather rare occurrence for the usually blabbering human, but she would rather sort out her thoughts now than say something she would regret to what she thought was a bunch of strangers. Hesitant, doubtful, and scared, she missed any chances to make a noteworthy impression and just quietly stared. Even thinking was difficult,

[Alene : File City : Asura's House]
One moment Alene was staring at the library computer monitor, next she there was a strange flash of light. Now the young woman slowly opened her eyes, laying on her side. There were other people there. Some appeared to know each other. Others were just there. Alene sat up slowly, brushing her hair away from her face.
Alene had no idea what the others were going on about this Digital World. Though she stared blankly at the creature with pink wings.
"What matter of beast is that?" she mumbled more to herself than anyone else, though she backed slowly away from the group. There were more people here for her liking, "Speak clearly please."

[ Luke, Karina, Asura : File City : Asura's House ]
The two old ladies continued to argue back and forth until the shouting of one of the young ones brought their attention back to the main issue. They both cleared their throats and brought serious looks to their faces, and Asura took her turn to explain things.
"I'm a MarineAngemon!" she said, floating closer to the young lady who had asked the question. Just think of me as an underwater guardian angel! Well, I'm not underwater right now, but that's not important!" She giggled and flapped her wings once, sending herself flying backward through the air. As far as time goes, I couldn't tell you. I've never been outside the Digital World. And Karina's been here so long that I guess she's adjusted."
It was around this time that another one of the new arrivals stirred from his sleep, taking in a huge, quick intake of breath. He took off his headphones as he sat up and tried to get his bearings. The music had stopped - that was probably what had awakened him. But wait... He didn't recognize this place at all. Wasn't he supposed to be shopping?
The first thing he noticed was the winged pink creature flying in the air, and gasped again, this time with his jaw dropped.
"I used to have your card!" he blurted, unable to stop himself. The MarineAngemon gave him a confused look for only a second, then smiled a huge smile. Rather than encouraging the young man, he now felt more embarrassed.
Great job, dude. You see an actual, real-life Digimon for the first time and you say something like that? But wait... An actual, real-life Digimon... His eyes were beginning to fill with tears of joy, but they suddenly stopped when he took a good look around the room. Some of these faces looked very familiar. The living room seemed to be packed with people in different kinds of clothes, including one in pajamas or something-wait, WHAT?
'Oh my goodness!" he shrieked in a high pitch as he covered his eyes with both hands. "Ma'am, I am so sorry, I promise it wasn't my intention to see you in your britches! I give you my sincerest apologies as a gentleman! Please forgive me!" His face had turned beet red, and the thoughts of Digimon went to the back of his head, if for only a second.
"I don't think she's going to hold it against you, kid," Karina laughed as she stepped to her right and opened a wooden door. "Young lady, if you want to change your clothes and preserve the poor young prude's innocence, you're more than welcome to use this room."
I am not a prude! he shouted defiantly in his mind. He wouldn't say that out loud, however, out of fear of confrontation. After all, this was a "brave new world", as they say, and if this human and Digimon were going to help them - as it seemed was the case - he'd rather not make them angry. Honestly, he'd rather not make anyone angry.

"So you're a fancy pokemon?" Alene stated more than asked as she stared at the creature. She still didn't know what the others were getting all excited about, "Eh, this is silly. I dunno how I got here, but I am leaving."
The young woman stood up with some minor aches and made a beeline for the door. She didn't want to spend anymore time than necessary in this nut house.
