Galena blocked again, this time with a more robust form. Being able to make contact like she had before was a huge confidence boost.
However, in spite of that brief feeling of exhilaration, her brow was still firmly stuck in her slightly frowning expression.
"That doesn't make any sense, Antiope," She huffed, taking the opportunity to lash out with another strike. And then another, almost hypnotically trapped in attack stance.

It seemed as if Galena truly did have an understanding with speed. Had she been coy before? Antiope was truly curious as to the sudden increased ability in her opponent, but that was an inquiry for another time.
For a moment it almost seemed as if the mantis senshi's spine had turned into liquid with the way she maneuvered herself with a quick lashing movement out of the way of the first strike the Captain had made. With the second strike, she was not nearly as lucky, getting a jab that impacted her inner arm towards the elbow.
There was pain again from the strike, but there was no time to process such a thing. Instead she struck with her arm opposite of the newly attacked one. "It makes perfect sense in theory of muscle memory!" was her counter.

Galena lashed out again, but she paused as she considered the sentiment. "I... suppose that is true." Even though her hesitation caused her to fall victim to Antiope's latest strike.
And the fact she could so easily get into the zone while blocking and punching seemed to lend some credence to the theory too.
"Are we going to spend the entire trip training here, Antiope?" She asked, breaking away from the fighting stance and taking in their surroundings once more. "I've never been to space before..."

Just as easily as she had been able to turn on the sparring, she was able to turn off the sparring. Hands fell downward to her side as she bowed again in a respectful manner before looking around.
"Honestly... I've only been here a few times myself... but I like to make each trip count! It's like being in a foreign land rather than in space though... which is weird since I tend to think of space-rocks with nothing on the surface, like the moon!"
Though Antiope enjoyed having her hands visible, she rather promptly unrolled her sleeves (if only out of the suspicion she'd have a bruise forming along her arm where Galena hit her).
"There's so much to show you, Gal! I actually don't even know where to start! Do you like natural beauty, or do you like fancy artsy stuff?" As she posed the question, the small girl slung the large gym bag over her shoulder again, ready to trek forward in whichever direction her companion requested.

Galena raised an eyebrow and pondered the question. Normally she was more for the artsy things. Observing creations and the projected pretension on them in galleries was more her style than the great outdoors. But this natural beauty was space natural... although the same could be said for the art.
"Natural beauty sounds intriguing. What have you got up your very long sleeves, Antiope?" She asked with a hint of a smile.

"I have two arms up my sleeves, Gal!" Antiope-the-mule, now all packed up, trotted to the Captain's side before matching Galena's subtle smile with her own wide one. If it weren't for the gym bag, she would have slapped the other girl on the shoulder in a friendly manner.
"However, there's a spot I wanna show you!"
Despite the weight of her bag, the little Mantis senshi zipped forward into an overgrown area of plant-life. Leaves, vines, and giant bamboo were shooting out nearly everywhere in the unbeaten path the senshi had chosen.
"Try and keep up, okay?"
That was the only warning her companion would have as she nearly vanished into the wilds of the Asteroid. All Galena had to guide her was the sound of Antiope snickering and a power signature.

Galena laughed, in spite of herself. And then scrambled to keep up. "Ah! Anti! Wait!"
She was huffing and puffing by the time she got to stop, and her breathing was probably worsened by the fact she was trying to control it in an effort not to make ugly gasps, a facade that was dropped when she observed the falls.
The entire area was picturesque, unreal.
They were either in space or this was one hell of a fever dream. No wonder the Negaverse wanted senshi out of the picture, if they could accomplish things like this by simply closing their eyes and holding on tight.
"All this... has been up here all along..." She murmured, staring slackjawed and just sort of dumbfounded.

Antiope had long unpacked the gym bag, dropping it into a pile of plants near the aged wooden bridge nearest the falls. She was easily beaming with a sort of pride she couldn't quite explain. "It's called the Praying Falls apparently... and I guess it has!"
With a bit of a bounce in her step, she loomed towards the Negaverse agent, standing on tip toes and leaning in close.
"You like this. I can tell!" Her grin couldn't help but spread wider upon her cheeks.
Seemingly content with Galena's response, she practically frolicked off to gaze upon the falls from the wooden bridge. "I've seen it a few times, and each time it amazes me... then again, this whole place is really amazing! And to think it was a world of professional lesbians!"

You like this, I can tell!
Galena rolled her lips and then exhaled a sigh through a shy, small smile. It wasn't the falls or the wonders of being in space, necessarily, it was just nice to have someone take pride in showing you something. It was a warm feeling that had a way of making one feel like they mattered.
And of course the moment dropped like a rock.
"I-I'm sorry, what? Professional... what?"

Where as some people might have hesitated with the word, Antiope seemed to feel no shame in stating the word. "Lesbians."
Apparently she needed to explain further, so turning herself on the bridge to face Galena, she haphazardly attempted such a feat. "From what I have seen, this is a woman's world, not a man's world. Those skulls belonged to men... and there is other evidence that lends to this having been an Amazonian world." There were also those foggy dreams she had, but that was not necessarily evidence.
Spinning to face the falls once more, she was about to point to it and brag about how she had swam out to the falls on her previous visit when a stray thought seemed to come out of nowhere.
Confessing here makes your bond unbreakable.
Whatever energy Antiope had before seemed to mellow out as she yet again turned back to Galena and gazed upon her in quiet contemplation. This woman was her student. She had shown Minny this world (though not necessarily all the glories of it), but something about this visit seemed to make the Negaverse Captain feel important.
It might have been an awkward silence for that time as the senshi combed through her thoughts, but when she spoke up again, her tone seemed far more gentle than her typical boisterous tones.
"Hey, Gal... how do you feel about me?"

"Yes, I know what lesbians are, thank you," Galena murmured before clearing her throat in embarrassment. Professionals as well. Together those words were more awkward to her tan the simple concept of lesbians. Prostitutes?
She was half listening, half watching the falls, she was flushing red and brushing stray curls behind her ear when Antiope's soft voice caught her attention.
"I... Antiope, I'm very fond of you, was that not made clear before?"

"I am glad!" It seemed as if Antiope could not make up her mind as to where she wanted to be at that moment, for yet again she abandoned the bridge to rush back to Galena's side.
"I like you a lot too, Gal!" A hand seemed to emerge from her sleeve to briefly touch the Captain's fingers before the senshi's hand retreated again.
"...I mean... I feel as if I am important to you, and that...is what makes you important to me! Not just as a student, but as a person..."
...makes your bond unbreakable...
"... and I would like to be by your side!" Antiope's cheeks were flushed. She might have been bold, but she was still human it would seem.

Galena found herself exhibiting warmth more often with Antiope than most people, and even still, it felt rarer than an average person might.
It made it all the more awkward as she felt the lingering blush on her cheeks, and the shy smile. Goosebumps when Antiope's fingers touched hers.
"You are important to me," She said, and reached out, brushing her fingers against Antiope's cheek. The motion was familiar. Too familiar, and there was a brief flash of something along the lines of deja vu. A future that she didn't quite remember seeing.
"I would like you to be by my side to, but..."
But they weren't on the same side.

Almost like a cat, she instinctively seemed to lean her cheek into the brief affections from the Captain, though any other similarities to the cat stopped there, since there was no purring.
She briefly blinked, eyes momentarily flashing a bit of green in her puzzlement at the change of tone with Galena. "...but...? But what?"
There was a good chance she was still completely oblivious to this war thing, to the different sides, to the auras, and to the different power levels.

"Antiope, I'm Chaos... we're kind of at war with the senshi?" Galena sighed, dropping her hand. "I'm not even supposed to be meeting you for our lessons. I shouldn't be talking to. If anyone in the Negaverse knew, we'd probably both be dead."
She shrugged a small, weak little gesture and glanced around the scenery.
"I care about you, Antiope, but this isn't... doable."
