"'cause if it isn't scary, it could be like - like a place just for us, where we could have secret meetings and - and things!" He frowned, then and glanced at Massalia, squeezing his hand again. "I'm not sure we could take her. That'd be a lot of people...and we're still young." Subra kissed his cheek, then Almary's. [It was nice...being around them, and not having the bad things from the future-dreams hanging over their heads.] "But I think we'll be fine. We're together, like Almary said! And together, the three of us can overcome anything!" Bad guys, and loneliness, and scary things...they'd overcome them all! And they'd make a little part of the universe that was just for them. Someplace safe and welcoming.

Began crying, quite suddenly, but nuzzled in further. He was oldest but was absolutely not manly like he was supposed to be at all, but he motioned that they should go, and go quickly, because it was nothing.
He'd NEVER admit his confidence was shaken.

When Massalia started crying, Almary flailed internally and wrapped his arms around the older boy. He glanced at Subra in apology and pulled Massalia to the ground to sit and cuddle. "H-hey... Hey, Massy, don't cry it's - it's okay... we don't have to go right now. Okay? We can talk about it, and prepare some more okay?"
Glancing at Subra, his own eyes welled up and he started to cry as well, because Massy was upset and he didn't know what to do about it! "S-subra - help? Please?"
Subra felt a want to cry, to do the same as her boys were doing. But she wasn't going to let herself. She couldn't. Taking a deep breath, she wrapped her arms around them both again. "Everything will be okay. I promise. We're strong. Stronger than we think. If I got anything from the bad dreams, it was that. And...and we're not alone! We have each other, and those that support us. We can do this. All of us. There's nothing wrong with needing each other to do it, though." She hoped that would help. She really did. "We are awesome. We're winners!"

At 'support' Massalia began sobbing harder, hiding in the other two miserably.
"M..My parents... My bad dream.... Dad and my brothers w..w...were gone and...and mama left cause...Cause I kissed a boy!"
"... You've still got us," Almary said, but there was a note of hesitation in his voice now, because this was Big, and he had no idea how to help his friend with something this big, this scary. It was only a dream, that hadn't happened, but... it could happen, and that was what made it so scary. "And - and my mom will help take care of you if you need it, I'm sure she will." His mom never had a lot of money, but if something bad happened and Massalia needed the help, he knew she'd help him.
"Bailey, uhm, do you think your family would help, too? If something bad happened?" He asked, brown eyes sad and hopeful even as he clutched desperately at the other children. Surely Massalia would be okay - surely they all would.

Oh. OH. Subra nuzzled Massalia, trying to purr like a cat and...well, not really succeeding. But she tried! "My family would definitely help. They're super supportive, and they adore you Massy! If something happened, they'd help stand up for you and protect you, I promise!"
