"Stupid a*****e owes me," she muttered, knowing full well that nobody owed her anything. She would get clearance for a runic weapon she should have gotten a long time ago.

The truth of it was that Chel was lazy, and without incentive she was nothing noteworthy.

Arrows prodded their way out of the back of her golem. She was incredibly grateful that it wasn't her real body, even if it felt painful enough to be.

Now she was going to have to finish the course with arrows in her back. Really?
