Oh.. OH.. that's why she needed me here! She can't really climb up into my treehouse.. Peanut's face blushed super red as he stared at this kind merphony friend of his rolling around in the shallow water. For a moment he forgot it is easier for her to move around on land than up high. "I.. I uh.. I trust y-you," he replied with a shaky voice. He took a baby step forward, his legs trembling as he felt his back leave the wall. "P-promise not to let me drown okay?"

"O-Okay," he replied with a heavy sigh of relief. Legs still shaking, he inched closer towards Holly until he was stopped right in front of the water. He kneeled down and stayed there. His front hooves were tucked into his waist and his back hooves slightly bent as he made himself comfortable on the solid ground.
Peanut stared at her until she was done rolling around in the water to keep herself wet. "Here is the closest I can get to you w-without freaking out..." he told her.

Flowers? "Oh.. Of course... Please show me. S-Sorry that I can't get any closer..."
He remembered her telling him about the flowers she had already gathered the first time they have met. "D-Did that rare flower and the other things you've picked up stay alive in the bag by the time you got home?" he asked her before she began to swim underwater.

She gave a nod to his question, pointing to the wall where they were all located ", They survived and have been growing ever since. I am so glad that I have a sun roof. They get all the sun they need coming down from it. I water them each time they need it, and make sure they get good soil and love from me."

He felt silly for not noticing those flowers placed by the wall. Trying not to blush, he looked at her with half a face shown to her since he can't turn around while huddled onto the floor. "I.. guess the water distracted me from noticing..." his voice trailing off...
Peanut just listened to his friend at how caring she is to all her plants. "Y-You know, you would make a really good gardener. Or plant caretaker. You even have your own s-sunroof."

"I do like planting and taking care of them, but it just does seem... all whole to my purpose for some reason," Holly tried to explain, going further in until she got to a part of the water that darkened. By them she was actually swimming ", I'll be back as soon as I can. I promise."

He didn't move and had his eyes glued to her as she swam further away from him. "IF that's what you think your purpose in life is, you should definitely stick to it," he simply told her. His heart however, was racing. Even if she was a merphony, he was worried that once she dove down, she won't be resurfacing again. As a helpless earth phony who can't swim whatsoever, he wouldn't be able to save her if anything happened to her down there... "Make sure you do come back! You promised!"

"I will," she smiled, going under the water and coming back as soon as possible with the most beautiful underwater flower she had ", Isn't it pretty? I found it outside this cave when I first came her to phonyland, and I kept it!"
She got back to the shallower water and soon more on land, crawling over to her friend so he could see it better ", Do you like it?"

Peanut watched her go under and started to count. 1, 2, 3, 4, ... 67... Oh my god it has been more than a minute! He scanned the water's surface for any signs of bubbles telling him that she is coming back up... He tried not to blink and stared straight ahead. When Holly's head popped back up, he flinched. "You're back!" he yelled out loud. Was he glad to be able to see her again.
Quickly, he stretched out his legs and stood back up on all fours. "What did you b-bring?" Holly managed to get closer to him and he did not mind at all. Looking at the flower, he already knew it was something he had never seen before. Even he was aware that these were not kelps. Who knew that such precious plants could grow under water? "I.. It is beautiful," he replied while trying to sniff it.

"It doesn't have much of a smell though," She admitted, letting him smell it ", Kind of has the faint smell of a water lily, which I do have a few growing in this water if you couldn't tell already. They're further off shore, but still visible."
She really enjoyed making other happy with her plants. It made her feel really good when she could share that happiness. Then a thought came to her. Did Nutter Butter feel good about his plants too? ", Nutter Butter... do you feel good when you take care of your plants like I do?"

It was true that this little colt knew nothing about the world beneath the water's surface. That flower. Such vibrant colours and interesting looking head, he stared at it some more after realizing that they could barely be able to pick up a scent coming from the plant. Water lilies he had seen before, but from a very far distance since those tend to grow in deep waters also...
"Mhm, water lilies, yes..." He smiled when she smiled. It was obvious that this filly had sparkles in her eyes when she could make others smile with flowers she had grown with all her love and care.
The thought about taking care of his peanut plants made him salivate since what matters were the shelled peanuts growing below the earth's surface. Getting back to Holly's question, he nodded his head up and down at her a few times. "I uh, I tell them to grow lots of p-peanuts when I water them every d-day..."

She gave a nod, trying to understand what he was saying exactly ", You tell them to grow lots of peanuts-... Oh! You talk to your plants too?!" It didn't occur to her when he said it first, but now she understood.
"I talk to my plants all the time. One day I hope each one of them will be able to bring a smile other phonies. How about you Nutter Butter? What do you hope for with your plants?"

Yeah okay so apparently talking to plants isn't all so bad if your friend is doing it too. He looked at her as if he did something wrong. "I.. I do.. You do?" There wasn't much that needed to be sad when she flat out admittingly told him that she talks to her own plants all the time. "I only do that w-when n-no one is around..." His face flushed red again as he told her what he does when watering his plants.
Staring at the ground this time, he tapped his right hoof nervously before replying to her. "... I... I want to grow lots and lots of peanut plants. Maybe.. M-maybe one day I will own my own peanut factory, or a greenhouse, or both!" His excitement got to him as he told her more about his hopes and dreams, and he started to circle around Holly. "Do you think we'll be able to achieve our dreams?"
