Teiluj cringed inwardly, yes it was true that Aisha accepted her. But there was so much more to it then that. The other sisters didn't like the tainted blood near their holy mother. And there was more earthling in Teiluj which only seemed to push her further away from the people she wanted to be part of. She had heard rumors of the mixed bloods having favor with the Elders and as such Aisha through actions. But she herself was never able to get close enough, nor had any of the elders sought her out for help or tasks. The windows that opened for others were not as open for her. Besides, she was built differently than her mother Aisha had granted her a special gift. The gift of having children of her own just like the earthlings. There was no way however she could explain something like that to a youngling. "You'll hopefully understand the circumstances when you're older." Teiluj said mournfully.

"I am told Aisha feels many things. She's deeply connected to the earth youngling." Letting go of her hand as they reached the Village Teiluj reached around to rest her hand on the younglings shoulder pulling her closer. "Careful now, we must be quick and do our best not to be seen." She whispered. "When we get to my house you must not yell or make alot of noise. You might upset some things there. It's a quiet house okay." She put her finger back to her lips again for emphasis as she tried to pick up the pace. It was best she didn't taint the girls image while she was so young and still vulnerable to the world, in order to do that she would have to do her best not to let the youngling be seen with her.

Teiluj gave the girl a weak smile at the mention of the island but wanted to talk no further on the painful subject. So she opted not to respond. Nearing her home after turning down a few streets Teiluj urged the little one forward. At the doorway Teiluj held it open for her nudging her inside before following off after.

"C'mon there's food in the kitchen." Shifting off to the right Teiluj led V'demhe into a small room with a table and several barrels. The room smelled heavy of fresh fruit and flowers. Up on the higher racks there were a few pieces of dried fish and other meats. Walking over towards the barrel Teiluj pulled the lid off before producing some bright colored fruit. "Here, I've got to see where my mamma is and check on something. I wont be long."

Once she was sure the child had taken the food Teiluj gave her another pat on the head before disappearing from sight. A large pale purple Radaku moved into the kitchen sniffing the air giving a slight growl before a Tall Alkidike female entered the room. Her orbs settled on the youngling. Her antenna twitching as she listened to the house but only seemed to grow irritated when she sensed where her daughter was. "Pacju, watch over Teiluj let the youngling be."

The purple Radaku's growl erupted again before she obeyed and wandered off into the house after Teiluj. Maya's eyes kept watch on the youngling. "how did you get in here? Where is your mother?" Maya asked, abrupt and to the point. Unlike Teiluj she wasn't as soft with Younglings. Preferring that they have the strength to be able to stand their own ground instead of relying on others. She also knew the footsteps upstairs did not belong to anyone other than her daughter for the time being.

The small blue Radaku, Teiluj had been playing with earlier darted into the house and through the kitchen before disappearing again. Teiluj returned to the kitchen with a sigh before her eyes fell on Maya. "Oh! Mamma. I was just looking for you. I thought you might have been upstairs." Waving a hand in front of her face at the look on her mothers Teiluj turned to the girl. "Sorry I didn't mean to disappear on you like that. This is my mother."

"What is a youngling doing here?" Maya questioned folding her arms across her chest. "I worry about you, if I didn't know better I would start to think you were collecting people."

Teiluj made a small grunting noise before giving her mother a pout and mimicking her behavior. "V'demhe, I found her wandering outside Ast. From what I understand she's stolen aboard a vessel and found herself wandering here. Her mothers back deeper within the Alkidikes. I would have taken her back myself..." Teiluj trailed back to give the girl a warm smile. She wasn't neglecting her, it was just important she go home and soon.

Turning to look at the youngling Maya tried to warm up a bit. "In that case we better get her home. Pack some food for her please, three days worth as always."

With a sigh Teiluj turned to do as her mother asked.
