"Well... the fish was just minding its own business and could of gotten hurt," she tried to explain, not sure what he meant by innocent. She just spoke what she knew ", I know I would like it if someone made sure I didn't get hurt, so that is why. Besides, I am trying to figure out about the life in this pond. Who knows, that fish could be very important to the eco system of this pond. By catching it, this time and in the future, you could run out of the fish and the whole pond would suffer."

The ecosystem, he hadn't thought of that. It wouldn't do to lose a good fishing spot for his dinner...
"You have a point there kid." he said, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "I wouldn't want to be that bloke that ruins the pond for everyone..." His eyes went from the ground in thought to Holly's, wide, but non threatening.
"Alright listen here." he said, standing up. "I'll leave the place alone, and I'll tell you why. It's not because you convinced me or anything. I could just as easily throw a rare fish back. But I will tell you that you know how to stick to your guns. You didn't back down, even when I got mad. For creatures you can't even talk to." He shook his head, but refused to smile.
"I'll find a fish market for now." He turned from the pond. After taking a few steps, he shouted "But I'm not doing this because of what you said!"

Her golden eyes began to seemingly sparkle with job as he explained his reasoning for leaving, excited for her being able to save the pond. She had done it! The place would be safe! No little merphonies would accidentally get hurt from being too curious, and the life in the pond would remain intake! ", Th-thank you! Is there anything I could do for you, like take you to a good fishing spot that will not hurt any of us merphonies but will still give you lots of fish? I know of a place!"

His hoofsteps paused. Another fishing spot? "Free of...what did you call yourselves? Merphonies? Yes, free of them?" That would solve both of their problems quite nicely.
"If such a place exists, take me there!" he announced, spinning back to look at Holly.

"Yes! Just follow me!" she then began to swim down to the creek, making sure the bigger phony was able to follow where ever she went. After a while, she managed to come to a bigger creek, swimming up it against the current until she came to a waterfall.
"Us merphonies do not go up there, but I know fish are up there because-" just as she was about to speak, tons of fish began to jump up to the top, startling Holly ", Yikes!!! Like I said! Fish! There is a huge pond with lots and lots of fish at the top. Do not tell anyone of this place, okay? Wouldn't want to hurt the eco system of this pond. It is bigger though, and way more fish!"

Macaron watched the merphony swim away, and trotted after her. He soon found himself cursing not exercising more, but he managed to keep up with the young one to the waterfall.
He too was startled by the fish jumping upwards. They splashed past Holly, hitting them both with water.
"So I have to go up to the top of the waterfall?" he asked incredulously. "This fish better be worth it." he mumbled grumpily.
"Thank you." he said, not looking at the filly. He didn't want to admit he was in the wrong in the first place.

Blue Eyed Melloon (I am trying to figure out how Holly can realize Loyalty through all this. Any ideas?) "See those rocks?" she pointed toward rocks that made steps in a way to the very top. If she hadn't of pointed them out, Macaron would probably of never found them due to how hidden they were. Also, it really didn't look that hard to climb ", You can use them to get up to the top. I am sure the fish taste amazing."

VerityHattress Perhaps she can realize that by not backing down, even with grumpy Macaron shouting at her, she helped keep her fellow merphonies safe. She ignored her initial fear of getting in trouble to protect her friends. Boom; Loyalty! "Ah, well then. That will do much better." he said. He stared widely at Holly.
"Keep standing up for what you believe in." he said simply, before turning away and clambering up the rocks. "It's good to stay loyal to your opinions."

Blue Eyed Melloon (Oh! That does work! So this is the last one for this right? Also, did I reply to our other one?) "Loyalty?" Wait... she had just shown loyalty? But how? All she had done was stick up for her fellow merphonies and the small pond by not allowing her fear to rule how she dealt with the situation.
Was that loyalty? Staying true to her friends and the life in that tiny pond? It had to be! Despite the other phony being so mean and scaring her to just back away, she had stayed loyal to those she cared about. It was fantastic, and she had the stubborn phony to thank for helping her to realize it ", Good luck!"

VerityHattress I would call this done! And yes, you did reply to the other one. It was starting to get confusing going from one phony to the other rapidly, so I picked one to focus on. I hope that's ok.

I hope that's ok. (Of course it is okay Blue! I just wasn't sure, since recently my replies have been... kind of acting up. That and dice rolls. Thank you for helping me complete one of the elements I need!)
