Listening to Malakai explain the history of the cave and the amulet they’d found, Kiyoshi saw through the firelight as Hitomi went exploring deeper into the tunnel. Lighting one of his torches from the fire, Kiyoshi walked over and found the cart that Hitomi had tripped over, chuckling slightly in the relative darkness as he walked up. Holding the torch so that the light shone into the cart, Kiyoshi looked inside, tapping the inside of the cart with his fingers so that Hitomi could “see” inside it better. He’d then look down into the cart himself, digging through what seemed to be old rags and dirt to see if anything useful or interesting was inside. After a few seconds, the light glinted off of a piece of metal. Digging it free of the stuff around it, Kiyoshi held it up and inspected it with the torch. Seeing some kind of fancy pendant, the genin called over to Malakai, "S-Sen-sei! w-w-we ffff-found sss-some-thing! S-s-some kkk-kind of pppp-pendant."

Genin "Keep going no matter what it takes,"
~Kumogakure l Genin l Inuzuka l Class: Duel ninjutsu/tamer l Chakra: 380~
Looking around at his teammates wandering the area Aiden would sigh softly to himself and stand tall. Picking up balto he would quickly go into devils stance and walk forward into the cave and remain alert of his surroundings.
"Even the way ahead lies through a river of blood."
Malakai stood up after seeing the young girl try to proove that her disability would not slow them down any infact stumble over something. But in her defense anyone could have fallen over that, vision or lack there of. Moving closer to the young man he noticed the pendant in his hand. At first glance he thought nothing of it but looking again he snatched it from him. Not out of wanting to possess it but out of astonishment. Rubbing the front of the pendant off on his coat some making it shimmer more clearly. The golden shine from it along with the gem in the center made it completely clear. "This is the first Raikages pendant, Why would it be here of all places." Placing it back in Kiyoshi's hands and cupping them over it. "Keep this safe, There was a reward for this for such a long time. They had only recently removed it due to assuming it was just lost for good. Around the time I had joined this village was the tiniest bit I heard of it."Turning looking for another path within the cave he started to head in that direction. "We need to make haste. I hear something in the distance that might be heading our way along with the smell of... blood. I know none of you have any wounds currently and this smell is fresh. So lets get a move on and be sure whatever it might be stays a step or two behind." Moving on holding the torch out to light the way. Letting the fire burn where it was to possibly distract any creatures on their tail. That and any sources of warmth best stay where they are to better deter the freezing temperatures around them. It has grown so large that it started to effect the residing creatures within. So much chakra emanating off of the stone that some have grown exponentially in size and hostilities. The normal creatures that were known to live within the cave were slugs, spiders, some wolves seeking shelter and some rumors have spread around that a dragon lived within. Not many ventured inside due to the sever cold within. Find and retrieve the chakra stone in hopes to return the cave to its natural order.

Hitomi tilted her head ever so slightly as she listened to Malakai explain what Kiyoshi had found, but when he told them he could smell blood, she frowned and straightened herself, "I can't smell anything past the natural smells of the cave." This was mostly grumbled to herself, not happy that one of her strongest senses was basically useless due to too much information at once. She sighed to herself and followed the heat of the torch. She stretched her senses out as far as she possibly could, which admittedly wasn't that far given she was still learning as a shinobi.
I choose the hard road, not the easy one, because nothing worth doing is easy. I will prove that I'm not someone to be pushed aside. I will not be forgotten.
Nodding at his sensei’s orders, Kiyoshi tucked the pendant into his pocket as he followed along the path some more, walking along the cart tracks, stepping carefully so that he wouldn't trip over the rails or any large rocks. As he walked, holding the torch higher to cast light wider around the cavern, Kiyoshi thought he saw something else up ahead. With all the talk of blood, Kiyoshi was a little nervous to approach it, not knowing what it was, but he called over to his squad “H-hey ggggg-guys, I th-think I ssss-s-see ss-some-th-thing!”

Aidens ear would twitch as he heard Kiyoshi speak. The boy was strong and twitchy so Aiden trusted his judgement so if he saw something Aiden immediately trusted it and ran at full speed towards kiyoshi. Balto would hold onto Aidens body as he quickly. The wolf pup held back its urge to bark and whimper as Aiden sped to kiyoshi in devils stance, stopping next to him Aiden would look at him with the wild look that came with devils stance "What is it kiyoshi"

Malakai was very impressed on their finding of the pendant, could not believe it was actually here all this time. Makes a bit of sense though considering hardly anyone would explore into here. Moving onward they started to notice another thing worth searching. What looked to be a bag of sorts. He held the torch out trying to get a good look at the surroundings. The smell of blood seemed to be getting stronger, had no idea what could have been causing it. Whatever it was, it was catching up or they were closing in on it.

Rift Wolf
As the group ventured further into the cave. The noise and light they were putting off caught the attention of one of the rift wolves inside. She was angered by the disturbance and began to slowly approach the group. Letting out a dull growl as she started to walk to the side, partially circling them. It smelled something about them which was the only reason it was hesitating to attack. The wolf was very uneasy of their presence to say the least. These were still intruders to her home after all.

Hitomi frowned slightly as she moved closer to Kiyoshi and Aiden. She turned her face to the other source of heat, which she knew to be Malakai's torch. She couldn't tell what she was sensing, but there was something watching them. "There's something watching us. But I can't tell what. All I can tell if, it's there, and has chakra, though I can't tell if it has any way to use it, or even if it has any elements...." It was fairly obvious that Hitomi was not happy with this lack of information.

Kiyoshi heard soft footsteps coming towards them and start circling. He wasn’t sure what it was, so held his torch a bit higher, spotting a wolf-like creature circling them. Tensing slightly, and spreading his feet, kiyoshi prepared to fight if needed, but held himself back for now.

As the wolf walked up to the group Balto would jump down and walk over to it. Sending a series of barks Balto would tell Aiden that the wolf was a female as he walked over the the rift wolf. He knew that she was curious about them and wanted to know if they were a threat. Aidens inuzuka blood helped him in this case as he was more attuned to wolves and his tamer attributes also helped in this case. Aiden would place his hand a top the rift wolfs head as he spoke to her "we're not your enemies". Balto would look to the group in a manner that said stay back.

Impressed by Aidens actions, He truly was in tune with hes clans species. Although he seemed to be handling the situation, Malakai could not help but feel as though the tension was not thinned out much. This wolf no matter how beautiful was still in fact very much a threat. They should not drop their guards. Reaching back very slowly he grasped the hilt of his sword. Just to hold in case of incoming danger. Although his wife, Koneko actually had a rift wolf as a pet. She acquired it as a pup so he was unsure if they could be tamed if they had already been living in the wild. Aiden surely would have one hell of an ally if he could though. He surely wanted to give the student his chance to shine.

Rift Wolf
The wolf felt the hand place gently on its head. She could feel the boys intent was pure but at the same time covered the gem on the forehead. This greatly made the wolf uncomfortable. Jumping back it barked loudly two times before a dim glow surrounded the gem. Its eyes started to glow blue as well. Blasting what looked like blue lightning at the ground in front of him causing the ground to freeze solid coating it all in a thin layer of ice. Making a dull growl again it was shooting off a warning shot. Something was still keeping the wolf from attacking them directly she was a bit unnerved. Silence filled the cave before the sound of a very different growl seemed to rumble. The angry look on the wolfs face changed quickly to a more needy look followed by a whimper,

Hitomi heard the rumble and the sound of ice crackling just in front of them, but at the second rumble, far different from the previous warning growl, she took a slight step forward, but to the side, "Aiden... That sounded like a stomach growling. I think it's hungry." The blind genin said gently.
I choose the hard road, not the easy one, because nothing worth doing is easy. I will prove that I'm not someone to be pushed aside. I will not be forgotten.
