This time Tetania was hit in the face by a ball. She shook her head to clear away the feeling, then glanced at Hulda sidelong with a huff and a 'that's the best you can do?' expression.

Hulda's head finally cleared up but she wasn't looking at Tetania when she used Swagger. Finally she turned around and spotted the other pokemon. Thinking she was getting weaker she ran around picking up speed. She then darted at the Quilava and slashed at her with a paw.

Hulda rushed at Tetania too fast for her to react. She resisted flinching from the attack, then gave the Growlithe a scornful look and sauntered over to look at the nearest ball as if her opponent wasn't worth her notice.

Hulda was about to continue to race around so she could keep up her speed to attack again when she noticed that Tetania wasn't even paying attention! This slowed her down since it confused her. Shouldn't her opponent be paying attention? She shook her head and kept going instead of stopping. Once she ran close enough she slashed at Tetania with a paw.

Unfortunately Tetania's trick didn't work. She barely registered the Growlithe approaching her again when she was knocked out.
Lyle recalled his pokemon, then waved across at the other trainer. "Good job!" he called before heading out to heal his pokemon.

Hulda watched as Tetania fainted and then was recalled. She turned towards her trainer and walked over. She received a pat on the head and the signal for good job. She was in turn recalled.
Alexa recalled Hulda and smiled at the pokeball. "Good job girl." She said then heard Lyle call out, "Same to you!" She waved back and then headed out.
