Sinistra watched her intently, to see how the process got started, at least. She imagined that as a senshi, their process would be similar enough.
Mind pause?
Oh that was pretty.
Wait, what was going on?
Sinistra looked puzzled, then distressed, looking around and trying to remember just what it was she was supposed to be doing. She knew that she had agreed to do something, but what was it? And why was she suddenly so confused? She fretted about it for the entire length of the attack, until her mind cleared a bit and she realized what had happened.
"Oh! That was very strange! You made me forget what I was doing? I felt so helpless and lost! That's a very good distraction in a fight, I imagine..."

"Yes, it confuses people but only for a short while. It would be good as a distraction." Very good, confuse a person and watch them move around like some open target, completely lost to all around them or perhaps in some kind of panic. It would prove very useful in battles, and keep her relatively safe; or so she hoped.
"It fits though, since I'm the senshi of brains." Shrugging her shoulders the long haired corrupted senshi motioned to the other then. "Your turn. Show me what you can do. You'll know what to do, just focus - deep breath and focus." She spoke softly as she hoped to help the other. This girl might be the enemy but she didn't feel like that. Another senshi might, and surely would, but this senshi was not Valeria's enemy.

Sinistra could firmly say she had been very distracted in that short moment, and likely would have gotten her face bashed in, if this was a real fight and her new friend was not so friendly.
Oh... her turn?
"Uhm. Well."
She saw how the other senshi, corrupt though she was, had used her magic. It seemed a bit of focus was needed, and then, of course, the right words to say. No one had told her anything like that! She closed her eyes, creasing her forehead as her eyebrows furrowed.
"Clean Sweep!"
She felt a magical pressure in her hands, and was surprised when she opened her eyes to see something that looked like a broom in her hands. It was clear, and did not seem like it was made of anything real. Just magic!
"Oh!"
She looked at Valeria in shock, then started to smile sheepishly. The broom did not exactly weigh anything in her hand, so she doubted she could hit anyone with it... she had said something about sweeping, so she gingerly made a faux sweeping motion. A small gust of wind billowed from the broom moved toward the other senshi. It could be used to knock someone over, but Sinistra had not put much effort into the motion, so the gust was feeble.

Watching the other with hopeful eyes, wanting to see what the others magic would be, Valeria was surprised as it seemed she gained some sort of clear...broom? Well it fit the sphere as did the attack name. She watched then waiting to see what the other senshi would do with the object in her hands, though it was far from solid. it seemed magic could form objects and not just balls of light.
Sweeping - obvious she thought to herself. She had sort of figured but yet she'd also been thinking that it could be used to hit someone or sweep the person, not just sweep at nothing. The gust of wind was a small surprise but one she smiled at seeing. "That's not so bad, I wonder how strong it can become..." She said thinking of the possibilities with such a power.
"I like it." Nodding her head the dark pink haired senshi was all smiles. "You should get used to doing it more often, I mean you'll need to in this city - there is war going on. We can do this together, yes? Work on our magic together." Get comfortable with it and try and get stronger together. She would just keep it a secret. "We will keep it secret from others."

"I think that would be a good idea! I mean, it doesn't matter that you're corrupted and I'm not, does it? I don't want to get you, or me, in trouble..."
She had never been in trouble, after all. She was a very good student and always did all of her work. Her teachers loved her, and she listened to her parents as best she could. She was just not the type who needed negative attention in her life, as she was bad enough with positive attention. All she really wanted was to get along through life without causing much of a stir either way.
As long as she could be happy, she didn't need to be well known.
But like the other said, there was a war going on, and Sinistra did not yet know all the rules to it.
"I would love to help you, though. It's like a study group! The only kind of group I'm any good with," she laughed feebly at her attempt at a joke, though it was actually rather true.

It would get her in trouble, if anyone found out, and she knew it. She also didn't say anything about that. Instead she chose to lie to the green haired senshi. "Do not worry about it. Nothing will happen." A lie and a way to avoid the topic. She didn't want to just flat out lie to this senshi for some reason. This one was too innocent, far too innocent.
Nodding her head she smiled. "Yes, like a study group only without the books." No books, no notebooks, pencils, pens, or any of that. It was a study group of a sort though. "I am good with studying too. I am good with learning." Her father and mother, more so her father than her mother, were big on their children having a good education and doing well in school. They'd had to learn English from a young age, and focus on their studies over being social. They'd all had social lives though, and all still did, but school did come first and always would in her home. It just meant you had to learn it, and well, and be able to finish school work quickly; something they were all good with.
"We will have to decide when and where to meet up, each time we meet we will set the place and time for the next meeting."

Sinistra smiled brightly and nodded her head. It was always easier for her to speak with girls rather than boys, and she immediately felt a kind of sisterly bond with this corrupted senshi, though she did not really understand their differences just yet.
She would learn, in time, what all the factions meant but for now, she was happy in his oblivious state.
"I like that plan. Well. I'm not doing much, and my schedule is always pretty workable..." she could easily push one study or reading session back or forward, if need be. Night time was easier than the day time, anyway. No classes at night, save the odd one sometimes that was not offered any other time.
She did not much like those, though.
"How about in a week? We could meet around here, if that's not too predictable... then I have time to learn some things and hopefully be able to show you what I've done!" She really wanted to impress her new friend, and was determined to do so no matter what. It was like trying to write the perfect essay, or get 100 on a test. If she bent her will to it, she could succeed.

"That sounds good, in a weeks time we will meet here." Yes, that sounded very good to her. She would hopefully by then get a bit more comfortable in things, maybe find someone who could help her with fighting, she would need it, and than she could help Sinistra as well. She also could use an idea on how to handle her hair and keeping it from getting in her way, and possibly tripping her. She'd just have to find another corrupted senshi who's hair met the ground - shouldn't be too hard. She had been told, when she'd asked upon being corrupted, that the long hair was normal.
"I will hopefully learn more things as well and be able to show you. We will help each other." Yes, they would be good friends. "Till then be safe." Bowing her head and smiling at the other brightly. "Oh...but what time? How about 10:00?" She asked after a moment. She would be free then, most of her youngest siblings in bed or on the way to bed, school work done. She would be free.

Sinistra smiled brightly, and felt like her heart might burst out of her chest. All through school it had been very difficult for her to make friends, but here she was, able to make one and even set up a time to meet again! Real friends.
Maybe this senshi thing really did have more to offer and teach her than she even knew yet. It was amazing so far, and not in ways she had expected. Ultimately, she decided, she would just have to see where it all took her, and be open to any learning opportunities that came up.
It was actually exciting. She was having fun!
"That sounds perfect to me! Okay, I should be going, but we'll meet up again in a week! Oh, wonderful! I can't wait!" She almost skittered off then, but decided to turn around and give her new friend a quick, awkward hug before running away, waving over her shoulder.
"See you later!"

Oh! How happy the other seemed! The very thought that she had made someone so happy had Valeria nearly bursting with happiness herself. She liked to make people happy, as well as coddle them and tend to them. It was just how she was, and likely always would be. Her family often joked about how good a mother she would make, though she kept insisting that she was just as happy playing aunt and older sister and didn't need her own children when she was older; and married.
She had been prepared to turn and head back home as well when the other senshi turned back and came at her with a hug. Caught by surprise she returned the gesture and for a moment let her chin rest on top of the girls head, or as much as she could given the hat on the others head. "Be safe, please." She couldn't wait to meet up with the other senshi again. This was a good thing - a very good thing. She was happy to have moved to Destiny City...she had a friend! The first one since moving here.
Once the other had left Valeria turned and headed off as well, planning to get a nice hot cup of tea once she got home, a hot soak, and sleep. (Done. God, I like how these two get on well. ^_^)
