I've got that love for you Darlin'

Pony's Name: Arreliee
Temperament: Whimsical, full of laughter, playful and quaint in an amusing sort of way. Arreliee is often lost in her own little world and she knows it. She'll say or do things no other equine would think to do and just for the hell of it. She lives every day just to enjoy life, not stopping to think of the consequences until they happen upon her. Every challenge is faced with her typical naive smile and a "glass half full" point of view.
Prompt response:[a] You've always been this way. You've never known any other life style. Others around you are confused, they sometimes ask you if you're alright. They never judge you outwardly, but you can tell there's something wrong and that you're not like the rest. But then there she is. She's different too. And it's nice...
"Arreliee.....not again Arreliee. What even are you thinking?!" came the usual cries but as always, Arreliee simply smiled and continued onward.
"She's going to get herself hurt one of these days..."
"Might finally teach her a lesson."
"Doubt it, I don't think she has the capacity to learn..."
Others muttered to themselves, a few concerned, most not. But that's how it always was. It was no different than any other day so why should Arre treat this day like it was? It was just a ledge on a mountain side, there was no harm trying to climb it. Deep in her heart she knew the risk was well worth it. To find what lay at the top....
What did lay at the top? A nice berry bush? Soft grass to rest her hooves on? Perhaps just a gorgeous view of the surrounding valley? She didn't know. But she wanted to find out! So what if there wasn't a safe way up. She'd just have to make one! That was part of life wasn't it? To live every day to its fullest and enjoy what it had to offer! Any second missed was great potential to miss opportunities of a life time and Arre didn't like to pass such things up.
So she set off to climbing....as best a pony could anyways. Pink mane swaying in the breeze as she began to tackle the climb. setting each hoof upon an outcropping higher than the other. Jumping a small gap just to reach what merely seemed to be a better rout than the first. But then she slipped, a foothold crumbling away from her hind legs causing her to lose her grip and send her sliding roughly back downwards onto her rump.
Others tsk'ed or huffed. Some thought to check if she was ok but decided against it and pushed onward. All of them but her.
She was always there. Always watching. Never too close but never too far. Save for today. "You should be more careful." she snorted, much like a foul tempered yet still worried mother.
Arre smiled up at her. The others whispered about her. Whispered just as they did about Arre. "Finally!" Arre giggled, blowing a tuft of pink locks from her eyes as she attempted to get to her hooves, only to stumble forward a bit.
"Not so fast! Gah, do you have any brains in that thick head of yours?!" the purple mare spat, flaring her wings and bracing herself as Arre fell forward. "And finally what?" she added as an after thought.
"Ummm.... I think so." Arre laughed again, shaking herself off, standing up right but favoring her left hind leg. "And finally because I've been trying to get you to notice for what feels like ages!" she beamed nonchalant like, flicking dirt from her tail. "You always stay back and trying to call you over didn't work.... so I tried to find other ways to get you over here." the pink draft mare went on, smiling that smile only she could.
The purple mare seemed taken aback, head tilted in confusion, scowl on her face. But her cheeks began to flush with a deep pink tone and she stomped her hoof in embarrassment. "What the hell are you even talking about........ your crazy." she mumbled, trying to look anywhere but at Arreliee.
"Mmmm...yeah! You are probably right!" Arre laughed more, limping a few steps forward to gently nose the purple mare whilst she was unsuspecting. "But you like it, don't you? I can tell." she whispered into the other's ears with a childish glee before neighing playfully as if she wanted to play a foals game despite her throbbing ankle.
The purple mare just stared. Stared hard and at a loss for words, ears back and frowning.....but with a warm feeling bubbling up in the pit of her stomach. "I......" she fumbled for words, glancing down at her hooves. "You are very strange. Definitely......different." she stated, peering back up at Arreliee, trying to put is as 'nicely' as possible.
"Yep!" Arre chimed with her usual laughter. "But you are different too.... and in a nice way." she smiled, turning herself to gently bump her rump into the other mare's. "So what do ya say.....fancy a climb with me?!"
