"Chance, if that finger had balls you'd be pregnant." Came Claude's (friendly) reply. Her eyes stayed on Oliver, but inwardly she was amused none the less. "Groundskeeper." She replied to Oliver, still eyeing him, before her gaze shifted to his comically tousled hair. "You?"

Lex gave a slow smile as they filed in one by one, picking up sheets and looking them over. If he had to admit it, Lex was slightly nervous about spearheading such a large mission and overlooking such a crowd of Hunters. At least they were all professionals.
Well, sort of. He gave waves when greeted, nodding politely and waiting for any questions to pop up. Lydia Was given a smirking chuckle, a waved hand. No need to apologize.
"In a few hours, Mr. Crowell. Zero-dark thrity." Lex turned to Ripley, eyebrows raised. "Is there something you need to do? I suggest it be done quickly - our hotel room will be sold to expedia if we don't check in on time."
"No, you will not get a gun." Lex quipped to Finn, eyebrows clearly saying I don't believe you for a second in response to his smile. "And yes, it may come to down to pumping their stomachs - which is why I'll be interceding as the school's new nurse. Luckily for us, the old woman retired just last week."
Stormy was given a wary smile, Lex still unsure of how the girl felt towards him - and if Gale and his massive rifle knew anything about Stormy and Lex's last encounter. "Oregon is located directly north of California. Try speaking like Bruce Campbell, if you need inspiration." Lex offered to Gale, giving him a respectful smile.

"Brute force, then. Messy, but I'll take it." Finn grinned, letting out a dark chuckle before giving Jack one last pat on the shoulder and sauntering over to where Ripley stood, glancing at his file next. "Teacher. Predictable, but still hot." Still grinning, but not exactly cheerful. When Lex let them know just when they would be leaving, however, he became slightly more serious, leaning towards the other man to ask quietly. "Do you need help with anything?" About a split second before something else Lex said filtered through. "Room. Not rooms? You expect me to stay in one ******** room with these assholes?" He asked. Lydia just sortof found somewhere she could be out of the way to observe the interactions that were going on. She thought Claude's finger joke was pretty funny.

"Claude, you're the worst," said Chance in a (friendly) conversational sort of way. He smiled winningly at her from across the room, tucked his folder under his arm, and stuck his hands into the pockets of his jeans.
"Oh, so one big party, then."

"Yes, Finn, one room. Three beds, a couch, one love seat, plenty of floor space. We were fortunate enough to get funding for a suite - but you may always provide yourself and any others," a quick glance at Ripley, "with another room, provided you can afford it. I do ask you stay within the same hotel, and on the same floor." Lex answered conversationally. Lex was a private man himself, and he understood Finn's crudely worded plight, but sacrifices had to be made.
"A week long party. Should be fun." Lex murmured in response to Chance, not adding the "try not to kill each other" that his face plainly said.

Finn noticed that quick glance to Ripley. Eye narrowing, he crossed his arms over his chest, folder trapped between two fingers. He couldn't afford his own room, not for an entire ******** week, not after spending as much money as he already did. Somebody else probably could have, sure, but Finn simply could not. And there was really no way to get out of that situation unless a certain somebody else took care of it, which at this point he highly doubted was going to happen. "I can't think of anything more ******** horrible." He said, mostly to Chance but partially to Lex as well. A week. A week trapped with these people. Finn was actually considering putting his file back and leaving.

" I was just here to have a good time, and I'm just feeling so attacked now." Claude deadpanned at Chance, before smirking a bit. Her eyes rolled on over to Finn as he seemed to be putting up a fuss. "You're no picnic either, Princess." She drawled at the Moon Hunter.

"So you'll get your own room then Mr. Bitchtits? Great. Perfect." He smiled. Yes, just piss everyone off and they'll all get their own rooms and leave him in the one with three beds alone. Perfect plan.

"Now, now, let's all just hold hands and get along well, shall we?" said Chance absentmindedly. "If I have to get between you, I will."
He had a pencil out and was doodling idly on the back of his file.

"No. I was hoping to use this time to get to know you better. Stay up late. Paint each other's nails and s**t." So much ******** off, dad." This was for Chance, only in the most friendly way, of course.

Finn snorted. "Next you'll be asking me to help wax the hair off your balls. No thanks." Chance was given a don't you dare look. Finn was having way too much fun for somebody to try and put a stop to it.

Ripley had merely observed the room, watching the rest of them interact, especially those he had yet to meet in person. They were an interesting bunch; it should make for an equally interesting week. Or rather an overly stressful week, whichever happened first.
"Yes." Was all he said to Lex's question; but he wanted to dye his hair. He had been on a similar mission and in a similar teacher role, and that had ended rather badly; he wanted to change himself a little bit, to prevent an obvious ID. "Just an hour, tops." He promised, and meant it.
His gaze slid to Finn as the other man peeked at his folder, and he slowly shook his head. "It suits me." The description was pretty in tune with his natural personality; there would be no need to act. Besides, he didn't think he could pass as a student. At all. His gaze lifted to view the parties in the conversation about the rooms, and he noticed the rather obvious glance towards himself - and simply stared back, pokerfaced as always.
Once he was out of the conversation between Finn and Lex though, he turned his attention to the former and his quiet question. "You could help, yes." He didn't need the help, but it would probably be, well, helpful. He then stepped aside for a moment, to let the verbal bout do its thing; he didn't feel the need to get between them and, well, it was interesting to watch.

"I can give you an hour and a half, should anything come up." Lex told Ripley, feeling slightly benevolent that day.
He also sat back and watched the verbal bout, taking as many notes and cues he could store in his immediate brain. Finn and Claude had history, and it seemed to be lighthearted, at least. He didn't need to step in and protect her - he never did - but there was always that familial itch to step in and smack down.

Claude idly picked at a thread on her sleeve. "Shame. Then you could've seen what a real pair looked like."

He could help. That was somehow vaguely promising, and Finn gave a small, barely noticeable smile before he went off on his banter-fest with Claude, clearly enjoying himself even if he was being a d**k.
Well, so was she. Her last comment had him grinning in his typical manner, and he was about to reply when Lex gave Ripley his answer.
"Great." Even though the permission was given to Ripley and not to him, he figured since he was helping, that he should probably leave as well. "Because I have things to do, too."
A glance was given back towards Claude. "To be continued?" Another grin, and he was already on his way out the door.
To be back in precisely one hour and thirty minutes.
