Escape PlanHarley tilted her head a little bit, at both the correction and the rather well-placed offer. She knew what he meant of course, but it was much easier to erase that for the more innocent route in her mind; it was almost funny, coming from her.
"Well, you are a dog." She mumbled, amused at herself for a grand total of five whole seconds. "I'll keep that in mind, though." The promise was punctuated with a little pat to his cheek, still mentally replacing the initial gutter explanation for the more sanity saving one, that mostly involved piggy back rides.++++ Heads or Tails"So heads, aquarium, tails, beach?" Harley suggested from around a blue popsicle, the first purchase she had made simply because it was one of the first things she had seen. Damn did she miss these sweet, cold treats. Between her fingers she held a coin, holding it out to him as if in offering.

Heads or tails"You surprise me. I would have thought you'd be sprinting all the way up to the Sea World gates." He definitely wasn't against spending some time on a white beach next to the ocean with a pretty girl. So he watched her benignly, biting a chunk off the end of the cherry Popsicle he'd been talked into purchasing. "Go ahead, flip the coin."

Heads or Tails"Yeah but see? I went to an aquarium last month. I'm pretty excited but I'm not like, dying for it, yanno? But a real beach - with real sand and real water and no real monsters? God, that's a dream!" A wistful sigh, too heavy for her thin frame, heaved from her mouth. "But I still can't decide so, heads is aquarium!"
She then flipped the coin, but instead of flicking it straight up, she flicked it at Zeke, with a grin on her face. "Catch, big boy!"(Odds is heads!)

Heads of tails"Alright, I see your point," he conceded, holding up a hand in defeat. And she did have a point. Zeke had also been to an aquarium within the last few months, but a danger free beach was something of a rarity for them these days. He lifted his head, giving the stretch of white sand and surf to one side a longing gaze. The order snapped him out of it, and he snapped a hand up to catch the coin automatically, slapping it down on the back of his other hand. It was heads. "Looks like Aquarium."

Heads or Tails"Plus, all the beach hotties!" Hattie threw her arms open wide, and cackled. It was win-win, in the end. Either they got to the aquarium first and enjoyed the sea life, or they got to the beach first and got not only monster-free water, but beach hotties. Hattie did enjoy looking, yes she did.
He caught the coin, flipped it, and announced the victor.
"Sa-weet! Alright Octoman, fate hath spoken!" She linked her arm with his and leaned her head against his shoulder, taking a small bite of her popsicle as she turned her big blue eyes up at him. "I have no idea where I am. You'll have to lead the way~"

Heads or TailsBrows lifted, lips pulling to one side as he gave a small, agreeing nod. Hard to argue with that logic as well. Granted, Zeke's interests were less seated in the aesthetics. He certainly appreciated a lovely physic, he just wasn't ruled by one. But, tails meant aquarium, so that was where they were headed first. Harley looped her arm around his, and he gave a small chuckle, patting her hand as he started leading her down the sidewalk. "Octoman?" There was a small snort of amusement. It wasn't as if he could say much, considering the very visible, very bright tattoo taking up his right arm. He took another bite of his popsicle, catching the stick between his teeth so he could adjust his bag across his shoulder. "Maybe we should figure out where we staying, then we can ditch the luggage."

Heads or tails"They'll be more secure in a hotel." His head tilted thoughtfully to one side. "If you have your heart set on being a delinquent though, they have lockers at sea world." There was still a fair amount of apprehension at this idea. "How'd you make sure there wasn't a security system last time?"

Heads or tails"Okay fiiine~" Harley gave a dramatically long suffering sigh. "We'll split a hotel! Halfsies is safe yeah?" His apprehension was clear to her, and she knew to not push the issue too much. It was important that everyone be on the same page, and a hotel did seem nice. Not having to worry about the risk would be good too, considering they wanted to be out and about.
"No alarms went off when we opened the window, and we didn't see any key pads. Guess we got lucky!" She was grinning, still quite proud of their delinquent escapades. "What hotel did you want to go for?"

Heads or Tails"Halfsies if fine." A heavy arm would sling over her shoulders, and he dragged her in against his side affectionately and keeping her there. "You got lucky," he'd muse, voice very mild, grinning down at her. He could understand the thrill, but the idea of breaking into a house with a silent alarm, then having to deal with cops, then their own supervisors when they returned...it all just seemed like such a hassle. If he wanted an adrenaline rush he'd find a bridge to jump off where they'd tie a bungee cord around his ankles. For a long handful of questions he was quiet as they walked, apparently thinking, but when he finally spoke up again his smile had turned decidedly devious. "Hyatts are always nice. Did you want separate beds, or is one enough?" Devious indeed. ++++ Big fishIn line for tickets, Zeke had managed find himself folded in against Harley's back, arms draped over her shoulders. His attention seemed to be on wandering, gaze making a slow circle around them behind the dark lenses of the sunglasses he'd pulled from his bag before they'd left the hotel. It was still early enough the lines hadn't thinned much, so they had a bit of a wait, but Zeke, at least, didn't mind. He'd always enjoyed people watching, and somethings were worth waiting for. Besides, good company made the waiting easier.
