Name: Hazmas Pochim
Week Total: 3
Day Total: 1
The purple blood with the mirror was an easy find. He had to do was follow the boisterous noise and there she was. Seeing her outfit and make up, he nudged a neighboring troll, telling them that she'd asked for him. He couldn't tell whether the other troll blushed or blanched, but whatever it was, it was enough to get him over there and get the purpble blood distracted. Carefully, Hazmas snuck up on her and ever so slipped the mirror out of her possession and shuffled away.

Pleased, the little troll stashed the mirror safely in his satchel and hurried on to his next targets. With Machim's help, he was able to find the teal and red bloods, only to be knocked aside by the same bone-sucking blue blood!

Hazmas sat up from the spot he'd been knocked into and wiped away a bit of olive colored blood. Being bowled over by a blue blood was one thing, but being bowled over into another one was a different matter entirely. If it hadn't been for Machim, he was sure the troll he'd crashed into would've made paint out of him.

"Y'know Machim, I bet it's the same blue blood from yesterday," he muttered, making his way back to the booth. "Grrrr, if only I were a higher blood, then I'd give him something to be sorry about." But like all threats against a highblood, this one was empty. He knew what happened when you bust someone up - especially a high blood. You got culled.

"We'll try again tomorrow," he said and put the mirror on the counter before grabbing a lollipop from the bowl.

Name: Stryke Nvrmor
Week Total: Vos: 2 Stryke: 2
Day Total: 2

Stryke stopped by the redblood's booth as he'd promised and offered a small wave of greeting, slipping some of the candy they had to offer in his pocket for later. Taking hold of the list of things he frowned at the redblood hue on the paper, did he not know how to write nor read very well? "are you not very efficient in reading and writing? i could help you learn sssometime if you wish. i wouldn't mind, it's up to you of course." Stryke titled his head curious-like at the troll he'd become acquaintance with.

Once he figured out what he needed, and off on his way, he went about obtaining the first item. It was almost too easy, he slid up beside the purpleblood making idle chitchat. When she looked away he took the elegant mirror, it was easy. Almost too easy really, for a moment he felt like it was a trap..but nothing happened. Stryke kept going casually, like nothing was wrong. Casually the bottle came next, and just as impressively easy he was able to make up off with the bottle and its contents. The tealblood never knew he was coming, and just as easily the little yellowblood was gone.

When it came time for the knife however he was not so lucky. The second he laid eyes on that redblood and his aggressive stance, the kid was gone before he even tried to make off with the item.

After he returned back to the stall, a bit out of breathe. Rubbing his neck tired-like he gave them what goods he had managed to obtain. Given how aggressive the redblood had been..Stryke had a nagging question on his mind. Looking at the orangeblood he gave her a curious look once he returned.. "question...isss this some kind of like scavenger hunt and these people are willing participants?" He pursed his lip slightly, nervous about trying to obtain things from complete strangers. Reluctantly, he decided not to relay the event, he was more curious what she had to say.

KitsuneAura

Keionx felt herself tense as she walked by the booth, which warranted another look.

HER.

IT WAS HER.

Keionx was already angry, and she had only caught a glimpse of Etsali. Oh. It was on now. She stormed to the booth and slammed her hands down, glowering.

"What" she snarled, fully knowing she was irrational, "Art thou doing here?!"

Katanari
You got the winning number! Have a raffle ticket!

Etsali brightened as Lutrin came bursting out of the crowd with items in hand and shouting her victory. She'd been looking forward to seeing how this one did, and she hadn't disappointed. "Good work! Did anything interesting happen out there? Have to pull any crazy tricks?" She took the items, dropping them into a box by her feet, and started to lean over for the candy bowl when she remembered she was supposed to check for something else.

Whoops, had to start remembering that from the start! She glanced over the paper, back to her own notes for the proper number, and then full on grinned. "Oh man, whether you found anything else or not, you definitely hit interesting. That's the winning number!" She grabbed one of the raffle tickets and presented it as if it was the shiniest treasure in all the land. "A gift for good scavenging! You better make sure you keep coming back, you've got talent. I can tell these things."

leon_a_darkangel

She turned her head then to regard the yellowblood, lifting an eyebrow as she realized he was talking to her this time. He'd seemed awfully preoccupied with whether or not her friend could write well earlier, and she'd expected that meant they knew each other and would be talking to each other instead of her. No big deal! Except it didn't take much now to see that wasn't exactly the case. Hmm, she'd have to see if she could get Zindel to spill on how they knew each other. But for now...

She slid the kid's loot over for Zindel to look at, glanced over to spot the kid's name, and then leaned over on her elbows and smiled her best, most disarming, 'nothing to worry about here' smile. "Well gosh, Stryke, didn't you read the rules and instructions? Of course it's a scavenger hunt, that's right there at the very top." She tapped the nearest paper and hoped her redblooded friend would appreciate the little jab about about reading comprehension. See, Zin, thieves stuck together.

"And of course everyone's participating! They're just really good actors, you know. Only the best for our booth! I mean, jeez, if they weren't that'd just be...Well, that'd be stealing, wouldn't it?" Her smile dropped and her voice turned just the right tinge of wounded. "You're not accusing us of anything like that, are you, Stryke?"

DraconicFeline

She was just about to start into another rambling spiel designed to take the kid's mind off his doubts when a flash of all too familiar red-orange caught her eye through the crowd. Her mouth snapped shut and her smile reappeared, but there was a harder edge to it now, more teeth and less cheer. "Well hello again, Keionx." She tilted her head back to meet the knight's glare, keeping her seat out of pure willpower to show she was not in the least intimidated.

"You might have missed it, but I work here. This is our booth." She plucked a nearby paper off the counter to shove in Keionx's face. "And you're bothering our business, so either play the game or stop loitering."

Stryke looked horrified as he listened closely to her explanation instantly feeling bad. He could tell she was covering for the other, was he not actually welcomed here? s**t. "n..no I'm sssorry! i didn't mean anything by it...there was just a redblood who looked like he was out for blood when i tried to get close and it was...never mind your right. jussst actors." He stepped back, he had no reason to question them, really he should have just..minded his own business. It didn't matter if the actor was good, he was horrible for even asking her the question. He'd read the rules before accepting the list, and her jab at his comprehension wasn't lost on the bookish kid.

Feeling like he'd made a fool out of himself, he instantly regretted coming here. Stryke apologized profusely a few more times to both booth owners, the squeeze at his pump biscuit made it hard to breath. Really he hadn't meant any harm. Looking away the yellowblood bit his lip. "i'll..be on my way. thank you for your time."

It sucked being ignored, and then to be patronized by an older troll. Sometimes he wondered why he tried sticking his neck out for others. If anything this just proved he needed to mind his words better. Criticizing his own self, Stryke clenched his teeth. Should have just kept your mouth shut and did what the game said you idiot..now look what you did! Without waiting to hear more from the orangeblood, he kept going ignoring his lusus trying to tell him it was fine. She was just explaining the rules was all.

Instead, he stared at the pathway he traveled putting as much distance between him and the booth as possible.

      ∞ Ephias Sagine

As they walked down the street, Ephias kept one hand on Wolly's back to steady himself. Though weary, he scanned the booths with bright eyes. He had heard from Voscil that Etsali and Zindel had a booth of their own and was eager to see them again. So, come twilight of the following night, he had set out first thing in search of their booth.

He had no doubt when he finally saw it. It seemed like just the sort of thing the orangeblood would do. Zindel's involvement though surprised him. Then again, he realised, he knew very little about his fellow redblood. Even so... this? Ephias was not sure whether to laugh, cry, or hide his face and just keep walking. Either way, he was impressed with their gall. Impressed and embarrassed.

While the duo was occupied with one of their other contestants, Ephias took a look at the instructional card for their game. It was exactly what he thought it was. He felt Wolly's nose against his back, as the woolbeast tried to read over his shoulder. Quickly Ephias slapped the card back down on the counter. It would be no good for Wolly to see what he was up to. Honestly, he felt crazy for even considering it. But a part of him wanted to see what it was like to spend a night in Etsali's shoes.

Before either the redblood or the orangeblood could notice him, Ephias guided Wolly away into the crowd.

    - - -

Ephias was not particularly stealthy or quick, traits that would have been helpful to his endeavour, but he was exceptionally ordinary and that proved to be a huge boon. His unassuming nature allowed him to phase through the background, undetected. Surprisingly, he was not nervous. He really should have been—a small corner of his thinkpan was screaming—but could not bring himself to feel all that unsettled by his intentions.

Later he would attribute it to insomnia. Three days of sleep deprivation had a way of impairing cognitive reasoning abilities.

Considering his condition, it was amazing that he was able to get and get away with anything at all. Especially when he had Wolly to contend with. To be fair, the sheep would have never dreamt that Ephias would attempt what he did. It was only when Ephias attempted to 'investigate' a redblood's plumed hat that he became suspicious. And by that point, Ephias already had the comb and book secure in his backpack.

He returned to the booth much later, perhaps fortunately avoiding crossing paths with Keionx. The night was drawing to a close and the booth was fairly empty. He approached, holding his backpack in front of him.

“... So, what do you do with the items you get? Or am I better off not knowing?” He asked, depositing his bag on the counter. He was never once to mince words, not even with people he had not spoken to in several months. Still, a hello might have been tactful.

In case of auspicemergency

Keionx snatched the paper up and glared at it, reading. Moobeastshit. This had to be moobeastshit... but apparently it was legitimate. How could it be? Nothing was legitimate with Etsali.

She stood up, paper in hand. ”Fine.” she snarled, challengingly. So, a scavenger hunt? Some part of her said that this was clearly stealing: she was being asked to take items from people. For some reason, though, that part was silenced by a strange, hot, determination. She would ace this game and show Etsali who was boss.

So, the hero started to look for marks.

The redblood was the first one she managed to find, playing in his play with his massive feather. She edged closer and closer, only to see the feather vanish into the hand of another troll, and then into the crowd.

Undeterred, she continued on. She thought she saw the greenblood with the book, but the tealblood – big and bulky and highly intimidating – brushed past her, his comb glittering in the Bloodfest lights.
Keionx followed in hot pursuit, stalking behind him until, seeing an oppurtunity, she ran at him and leapt, stealing the comb from his hair and landing neatly on the ground.

And then she ran, she ran and ran until she reached the booth... and then she dropped the comb right in front of Etsali... and glared.

”There.” she said, furiously, though she wasn't exactly... angry? She wasn't sure what she was, only that she was all fired up. ”What now, thief?” What now indeed.

Leeroi didn't bother being sneaky. He had convinced himself, yes, this was a stealth mission and that he had to be quiet. But being quiet didn't necessarily equate with being stealthy. So Leeroi did his best to hold his tongue, tracking his targets with a keen eye. The first two had been scared off by his wonderful theme music, kindly provided to him by his screaming lusus. The third one, however, was a different story.

Leeroi walked up to the troll nonchalantly. He stared at them for a moment, slowly reaching over to his book. Refusing to break eye contact, he pulled the book closer, held it in his hands for a moment, and took off in the other direction. The victim seemed confused at first, but then he was visibly angry. It was too late, though. Leeroi was long gone, handing in his prized item to the booth owners.

Name: Voscil Torgny
Week Total: Vos: 4 Ryk: 2
Day Total: 2

Having missed coming to see her buddies as she'd been preoccupied with various goings around the fair she appeared in a rush of yellow movement, skidding to a halt on her sneakers as she grinned at the two of them. "Heya guys!" Voscil greeted them each in turn before she picked up her list for the night. Scanning over the items, the kid saluted to them before dashing off.

First up was the comb, sounded easy enough. It's description was pretty obvious and as she rushed around, the sap never saw what was coming as she snagged before bounding off. No way was this actor gunna keep the item she'd been requested to retrieve! Next stop, the fluffy hat. To bad she couldn't reach him, he was busy crowd surfing. Voscil scowled at the redblood and his weird under-bite. It would have been NICE to bring back three things, but this was a big waste of time in her opinion. She'd just have to make up for it!

Giving up on the sap and his hat, she went for the book not minding that Zindel couldn't read one way or another. That wasn't any of her business! Sneaking over to the food stands, she first got her and MamaJu a bite to eat before she leaned over and nabbed the second item of the night. With her belly full and energy renewed she raced back to her friends booth and slamned down what she had managed to obtain.

"There you go, sorry it wasn't all three I tried!" She giggled, sticking around to help for a bit before having to return to her own booth bidding them farewell, and a promise to return soon.

Name: Trendi Aphrod
Week Total: 0
Day Total: 0

Trendi waddled up to the booth, curious. A scavenger hunt? That seemed fun. After all the trouble he had with previous booths, finding items seemed easy peasy. He picked up the list, and read it over carefully.

"Ah.. comb... hat.. book? That's it, yes?"

He stuffed the list in his pocket, proceeding to make his way to the first item. He made it to the comb first. He watched the tealblood carefully, waiting till they turned their back to him. He slowly, carefully, moved his way to the comb, proceeding to try and pick it from her hair. He fumbled, getting seen almost instantly. As the tealblood screamed for help, Trendi vanished into the crowds. As a purpleblood, he was used to being screamed at.. but for a scavenger hunt? Confused, he made his way to the second item.

He gazed upon the hat, sitting upon the redbloods head. It was magnificent. He wanted it for himself, truth be told. Arms stretched out, in a trance, he slowly, zombie like, moved to where the redblood was, only to faceplant into a wall. They were gone? No! The hat! He whimpered, discouraged, moving on to the final item on the list.

He found the greenblood fiddling with their hair. Distracted enough in his eyes, Trendi moved closer, grasping his hands around the book, only to be slapped at. Once again, he was yelled at, and before anyone could notice him he attempted to flee the scene.

He returned to the booth empty handed. As he watched other trolls hand in their items he sighed. Perhaps tomorrow would be a better day for scavenging items.

Etsali stared at the comb on the counter of the booth for a long moment, confirming that this was indeed the one she'd seen and scribbled down on the list, and then she looked back up with eyes wide with surprise. "You actually played the game?" She tried to imagine the knight stalking the targets that had been given her, worked her mind through the different ways she might have gone about getting this comb. She might have simply asked for it and gotten lucky, that was probably the honorable way of doing things. But as she conjured up the mental image of that troll that had worn the thing, she thought it seemed unlikely.

Which meant Keionx had stooped to stealing (and she must have known this was really stealing, she wasn't that little yellowblood) just to be contrary. Just to prove a point. As soon as the thought hit, Etsali's breath hitched. She struggled visibly for a second, but there was really no containing it. The thief drew in a deep breath and then began to laugh loudly and uncontrollably. "You actually played the game, I can't-"

Eventually she did get a hold of herself, but there was a grin spread across her face that she couldn't quite dispel. "I almost want to say I'm impressed, but really? I'm pretty sure that list had three things on it." She reached out for one of the newer lists and then held it out. "You can't do any better than that?"
