Ah yes, need it she surely would. At some point her lusus had finally begun to follow them, but Nahori wasn't quite sure she wanted a boost from Guineamom, or whether she would even offer one. Reemus was a highblood to them both, and while her lusus wouldn't go against his wishes, she hardly approved of such roughhousing and shenanigans. Passively watching the events unfold until the yellowblood was done with her charge, at least in this particular type of situation, was much more her style.
"A-Ah, I don't think I-I can make it b-by myself!" she called back, but reached up for the fence regardless. His enthusiasm had lit a tiny little fire in her, and she didn't plan on giving up without trying. She wanted to pet the moobeasts, after all. Her stomach fluttered with excitement.
Grunting, Nahori was able to tug herself up a short ways, but not nearly high enough to make it over. Physically, she simply wasn't up to par. Glancing at Gillian, then back to the top of the fence, she bubbled out a quiet, genuine request. "C-Could you help me, p-please, Reemus..."

"A'course, mate!" Reemus hopped back up at the fence. He reached up, trying to use a fence post to pull himself up. Alas, he was still a little too smol. "C-c'mon..." He pawed with one sweaty hand. Swiped for a grip...again... "Crikey!" He slipped and fell back, right on his butt. "Oof! Owwww...."
The mustardblood looked up with sad frustration. This shouldn't be so hard! But then...if he needed help getting over...how would he be able to help, himself? The puppy hadn't thought about that. "Uhhh...gee." He wobbled onto his feet and padded to the fence again. "I can't reach, 'Ori. But don' worry! We'll work somethin' out!" Reemus peeped. His eyes scanned around for a solution. "Uhhh....uhhhh...."
He caught sight of his lusus, wagging her tail as she watched him from Nahori's side of the fence. "Oh! Mum! Can you boost 'Ori up like you did me? Izzat okay, 'Ori?"saedusk Barks until problem solves itself

Eyes watched the top of the fence, they darted to Reemus struggling on the other side, they darted back to Gillian again... Honestly, she expected this might happen. It wasn't as if Nahori was scared of her new friend's lusus, at least no more than she was scared of most things (she was easily frightened, it was nothing personal). Still, the large, energetic bundle of fur and muscles as at least somewhat intimidating.
And yet, Nahori found herself preferring this over the help of her own lusus. The help that, quite obvious now, wasn't coming. Guineamom had planted herself a short distance away and wasn't making any moves beyond an occasional irritated nose twitch.
"O-Okay, Reemus... that's fine," she bubbled out with a huff.

He nodded. Excellent! They would make progress yet. Reemus looked to his lusus. She didn't seem to be catching on, or was taking her time helping out.
"Muuuuuum!" Reemus whined. Gillian wasn't moving fast enough. They had to keep moving! He hopped up to the fence again. "Mum, please help her over." The yellowblood pouted, lower jaw tusks a bit more prominent than usual when he looked at her with sad puppy eyes.
Woofmum yawned. She took an idle step towards Nahori, sniffed her a bit, then started nosing down under the child's feet. Oh, this one wore shoes. She was half-tempted to nibble them, and she was definitely not looking forward to the pressure, even momentarily. Why couldn't more troll children go barefoot and natural like their parents?
Since her pup wanted it so bad, Gillian did her best to work with Nahori to flip the child over into the pasture.
Reemus glanced at Guineamom out of the corner of his eye. What a static lusus! "Is yer mum comin', 'Ori?"

If she'd known the discomfort she was about to put his lusus through, Nahori might've declined. As temporary as it was, she would still feel ridiculously awful about it. Lucky for the two kids with their think pans set on fun, she had no idea, and Gillian had her up and over the fence before she could consider much else, either.
Tumbling was a given. Nahori had next to no athletic ability. That had been demonstrated multiple times already tonight. Sure, she could pick and carry vegetables, and peel with the best of them, but running and leaping over fences with any semblance of coordination was a tall order she just couldn't fill. A squeal escaped her as she fell head-over-heels onto the grass below, winding up on her back, staring at a sky full of stars.
It was nice, honestly, the sky... While she tried to gather herself, tried to keep the world from spinning, she silently stared. Only when she snapped back into her body would she feel regret for keeping Reemus waiting.
"Oh, um, no..." she began speaking even before she awkwardly started to push herself up. "Mother, well... she c-can't climb. And a-anyway, I don't think she'd want to come." Glancing back momentarily at her lusus, Nahori let out a tiny sigh. "She doesn't a-approve of things like this."
"But she doesn't approve of anything, really..." She was on her feet now, brushing herself off. For once, Nahori tried not to feel guilty. All she wanted to do was have fun with Reemus. What was so wrong about that? Looking away from her guardian, she made a move for the moobeasts instead. "They won't run, w-will they...?

Nahori made it over! She was over the fence! She did it she did it she did it! The yellowblood bounced and yipped with excitement.
"Thanks, Mum!" Reemus called before running over to see if Nahori landed a-ok. "Need any help down there...?"
He trailed off as Nahori spoke up about her own lusus. Her words gave him pause. "Yer mum...doesn't...approve?" That was a big word, but he thought he had an idea of what it meant. Approving was good, like a thumbs up. Like when Gillian said yes to basically anything. So, in a sense, Nahori's lusus basically...said no to everything?
"If yer mum doesn't like the fun stuff, then I guess ya don't get to have much fun, huh?" he mumbled, mostly to himself. Reemus stood silent for a moment. No wonder she seemed to sad. That sounded like a hard life. How could anyone live without running around like a banshee?
If anything, the information inspired him some. He would show the orangeblood the good things in life! And maybe her lusus, watching, would realize that seeing her kid happy made it worth it to let these things happen! Yeah!
Reemus toddled after Nahori soon after, since she had refocused on the creatures in the pasture. "They'll only run if ya chase 'em. I kinda wanna do that, but...if ya want 'em to stay, I won't." he shrugged. "But, usually if yer reeeeeal slow-like, other things will be slow or won't even move. If ya show 'em that you wanna be nice, they should be nice! Right?"

Focused on the moobeasts, Nahori had missed Reemus's question; the answer would've been yes, of course. No fun allowed was a long standing rule in her household, if only unspoken. Where was there time or space for fun when there were endless chores to be done? Guineamom kept her charge reigned in on a tight leash, lest she inevitably run wild and make them look bad in front of those of a higher social standing.
It was probably better she'd missed the question, anyway, as she did her very best to ignore the stinging guilt in her gut about things a child likely shouldn't have to feel guilt over. "O-Oh... well, um... maybe you could c-chase them later?" she offered. Nahori did want them to stay, at least long enough to pet them, but she wanted Reemus to have his fun, too. He seemed like the type willing to compromise, at least. "I'll try to be slow... I-I'd like to get r-really close."
Perhaps it was Nahori's unassuming existence, or maybe the moobeasts really could tell when someone wanted to be nice, but the closer she got, the more it became apparent that the one in her sights was more interested in chewing grass than running. One small, unsteady hand reached out... Her eyes were absolutely huge... With a few gentle fingers, she touched the beast.
"R-Reemus...!" she whispered loudly. "Reemus, I t-touched it..!"
