Adarael smiled softly, glad that he had gotten her explanation. She nodded, but just in case he made to move toward the fields right away, she put a wing on his shoulder. With her free wing, she point to him, and then to herself. Lastly, she pointed to the ground beneath them. You have to bring me back here. To her, the grass sea was nothingness: a blank canvas that stretched over an unending frame. She had no doubt he would figure it out, though it might take a few tries; he seemed a considerate fellow, and she was quite obviously standing at the edge of her map, which he surely had picked up on by now, or would soon, when her steps became extremely tentative.

Zatarra was eager to go forward, but he caught her movements before he began to move. She motioned forward and then back. "You want me to bring you back after?" He thought that's what she meant. Then he saw it, the way she hesitated. The look on her face, the tenseness in her wings. "You've never gone this far out before have you?"
That was a lot to put on someone. "You don't have to take me out there. I mean, we don't have to go somewhere you don't want to. It's okay if you're scared." He felt a little flustered trying to speak. "But if you trust me enough, I'll take you and bring you back safely. I promise. How does that sound?"
