"Oh, I have, but I went away for a long time," Terra said, shrugging. "I need to go find my old friends and see if they still remember me. I do not regret the trip, though," she added quickly. "One of my village--a very important friend to me--was sick, so I nursed him back to health! He is much better now," she explained with a happy smile. "Have you made many friends at school?" she asked. The kushis were practically forgotten, because she was enjoying the chat. (And the dice were trolling.) 2/5

She nodded along as Terra explained. She could understand that. Heck, she wanted to take a break herself... but meeting Roch had been the most interesting thing she'd had happen in a long time.
"That's quite kind of you, taking care of your friend like that." she praised with a grin. "I'll bet he appreciated that." the returned question made her smirk, and snicker lightly, pocketing her hands and looking down at her shoes, "Nah... not really. I guess Frost is kinda the closest thing to a friend I have, but haven't seen him in ages." she shrugged, "had hoped I'd have a ton of friends by now, but I guess I've got some sort of repellent or something." she mused.

"I am sure that is not true!" Terra said. "I have great faith in mi hermano's judgement in people--si, some of his friends are scoundrels, but they are very nice scoundrels! Although I lie--I do question his ability in picking women," she admitted, touching her chin. "Not that you are--I mean--" she started out, realizing how awkward things were getting. She was bright red under her white makeup. "I am making a mess of this," she admitted. "You are not dating Roch, are you?" 2/5

She smirked as the ghoul floundered and tangled in her words, chuckling lightly, and rocking on the heels of her shoes.
But when the question was shot her way, she blinked at Terra with surprise, and... to see if she was honestly asking out of really not knowing. After a beat, Verusha laughed lightly, shaking her head, "Nah, I hardly know the guy. We've only just recently met, after all." She looked off to the side, grinning wide, "He is hot though, yeah. But takes more than just looks to get a ghoul going, am I right? gotta have that chemistry, and bond." she grinned, with a knowing look to Terra.

Terra knew very little about chemistry, other than what she'd seen on her soap operas, but she did know something about "bonds." She reached down, scooping up an unaware kushi and kissing it on the head before speaking. "I think," she said softly, "that love can come in many forms--but it is good to know people better before you do something like date them. Roch, before, did not take enough time to get to know them. That is how he wound up breaking his heart once, and a single father the next." She smiled slightly as the kushi hopped out of her hold. "But there is this moment," she said, standing straight again, "when you meet someone for the first time and it feels as if you have always known them, no?" 3/5

Her eyes raised to look to Terra as she spoke, listening intently, before looking back down at her shoes. "I wouldn't know much about that sorta stuff. Never been in love." she smirked, "closest thing I've had to that was with a guy who had eyes for plenty other ghouls. Liked that... "friends with benefits" sorta thing.." she murmured with a bit of a more sour tone to her voice. "I thought it was good enough just having someone interested enough in me, but.." she shrugged, "wasn't enough."
But hearing what poor Roch went through, she softened her smile, "Poor boil. Sounds like he's had it rough." she raised a hand to lightly brush her fingers along the shaved part of her head, in thought. "we did hit it off pretty well in our first meeting.." she said a little delayed in an after thought.

"I was... it is..." Terra said slowly, still not looking at the other ghoul, "I was talking about..." she stuttered. "Oh, hello, little kushi," she said, grabbing the rodent closest to her and kissing him more to cover up for her total verbal blunder than anything else. She took a deep breath as the kushi raced away, trying to focus on the true point. "It is nothing," she said, waving a hand. "I was just saying that there are often things that draw us to others, no? Past experiences, attitudes, that--that feel that the other gives off, no? It is the same as in my family! Although I grew up in a completely different land, I feel at home with them." She felt at home when she was around Rojo, too, a tiny voice whispered. She shoved it aside. 4/5

Verusha was amused by Terra's tripping of words, a foot kicking lightly at a particularly thicker patch of grass on the ground. "Yeah, you're right." she confirmed with a slow nod. Those sorts of things would definitely draw someone to another. "Sounds like love is a specialty of yours then, huh?" the ghoul teased.

"No!" Terra said, blushing wildly as she tripped over her own feet in shock. "I am not experienced at all," she admitted, clasping her hands in front of her and looking at the ground. "I have just--just gotten a silly... crush, you see," she tried to explain, even though a part of her knew she was being teased. "He is so very lovely, and he reminds me of home--but I have--I am still only just now getting to know him," she admitted. "And it is not the same for his kind as it is for ours. But then again, I grew up surrounded by his kind, and I do not think the same as other reapers, I do not believe." She frowned, trying to figure it out, only to get distracted as a kushi stopped at her feet, looked up at her, and raced into a hole in the hedge. She jumped after it, grabbing it quickly. "I have caught you," she said, smiling. She kissed him-- And fell through the hole in the hedge, back into Halloween. The conversation would have to be completed another day. 5/5

Verusha blinked with surprise as Terra suddenly vanished after kissing a final Kushi, looking around to see if she may have teleported somewhere else in the area... but no. She was gone.
Looking down at Cannon, she grinned, "Looks like it's just you and me, boy."
