His gaze slid sideways, and he caught the catlike smirk on Zeke's face, the dark look in his eyes. That, paired with the "innocent" suggestion was something that Chance himself was all too familiar with; he knew without having to ask what the insinuation was,
"My, my," said Chance with amusement, a laugh escaping him. "I always do appreciate the ones that are more honest."
He shook his head, reaching to set the half-empty cup of jello on the bedside table. "Ordinarily I would say that I never say no to a good suggestion for a little fun and a little distraction; because, after all, who doesn't like that?" Chance rolled his head sideways and there was a faint smirk on his lips.
"However, sadly, I'll have to decline this time, mostly because I'm not entirely sure that my ribs could take too much fun. Still, the offer is much appreciated, and I'm flattered by the offer, Zeke, thank you."
