Well, she talked as if she was fine, and she looked fine – what he could see of her through the darkness and the rain anyway. He laughed – a little self-deprecatingly. ”Magic... I dabble in it a little, but...” he made an envious face, ”That guy was something else.”
The fight had got his blood roiling, and so he did something he might not have dared to do when not under the double influence of an adrenaline rush and a joy in surviving a relentless attack. It was a drug, one he was pretty sure his doppelganger was addicted to (and probably Iroia herself) so he figured he was in good company as his smirk grew wider.
”The view, huh.” he said, touching the hand on his cheek with his own. His other hand reached out, a perfect mirror of her own gesture... at least until he pulled her face closer and pressed his lips to hers.
He drew back, looking up at her as his antennae tingled with a sensation that was only partly the rain. ”Well, how's the view now?” he asked coyly, smiling.

She felt all warm and fuzzy when he placed his hand over hers, she could get used to this, this was nice, more then nice... then he pulled her face closer in the most gentle but authoritative way, she could'nt help but follow his guidance. His lips brushed hers and her mind went blank, swamped by sensation so strong that it overrode her thoughts. Her lids drooped and she fell into the kiss like it was a plush pillow. "Vosh,," she whispered in a deep raspy voice. She was a being of pure feeling, like the blankness of battle but with a twist, she felt a tad like she was struck by a weak lightning bolt. Her eyes drooped halfway down and she smiled. Oh he had asked her something. "Mmrrh? The view?" She asked staring at his lips meditatively, "Excellent." She said and leaned in a little further. What mud? What rain? She was full of lightning.

”Oh, good.” he said, stroking her face, ”I'm glad you like it.” and with that, he kissed her again, more confidently, holding her head against his. Their noses touched and he could almost imagine them doing this for a long time after.
Except... He could feel the rain splattering onto him. It wasn't cold, but he could feel the cold leaching in with it. ”Mmm.” he drew back, ”Well.” he said, his voice a little raspy and uneven himself, ”Now that you've been robbed, lets go back into the tent and have something warm to eat...” he stroked along her tattoo coyly, ”The view won't be so good tomorrow if we both catch colds, you know.”

"Cold?" She felt like she was on fire and shot out of a catapult. She stood and tugged him up with her. "I suppose a runny nose would er put a damper on the morrow." She smiled happily. All was right in the world actually better then alright, it was fan freaking tastic. Her hand at least was warm inside his, it was only when she got inside she noticed her feet had turned to ice. Ick. "Would serve me right to get a cold, but I will say it was most worth it.' She wiggled, getting brave and danced over to him on light feet, raising up on her toes and smooched him herself. "Addictive it is." She whispered against his lips before dancing away to look at him like the aldabuck paused to look at predators.

Duke Edward Drake We can stamp this in one/two posts? Three first kisses was a new record for Votzhem, and it honestly made him giddy as he watched her go. She seemed to glow with the splash of the rain, her movements accentuated by the crystalline droplets. “Definitely worth it.” he agreed, admiring her as he entered the shelter, “All of it was definitely worth it.” He gestured to the table, laughing, “Shall we resume? We may be cold...” Though he was very definitely warm inside... Mmm... He was indeed. “But I wouldn't want your fantastic supper to get cold too!”

She walked back to the table and stirred the now slightly more lumpy food. "Well at least it still smells good." She sat down and gestured for him to as well. "Now that you mention it I am still hungry." She dug her spoon in, the stew had congealed a bit but it was miraculously still warm. She ate a little quietly, sneaking little smiles at Vosh, her mind buzzing with the kiss. Finally her bowl was empty and she sat back full and content. "Well, that was an eventful night," she grinned. "Not bad for a quiet dinner eh?" Not bad at all, one did not get their first kiss ever any day. She felt like she had one not the sneaky bandits.
