After a bit more searching the grass burning away the morning Simon decided to double back to the Pokemon Center and heal his entire team up. Throwing away his breakfast wrapper Simon decided to sit and take a bit of a break from training.

Sitting at one of the tables Simon had come up with the decision that he would replace the much stronger Hydro Cannon for the still strong Hydro Pump. That was because the Pump had the lack of the flaw of the Cannon, Greninja didn't need to recharge after using the Hydro Pump move. Another learned move was Pachirisu which was a risk since he removed an electric one for the strong Hyper Fang.

Sighing Simon checked out his Pokenav, looking through his team and seeing that Dusknoir leveled up to seventy. It's great he's so strong but then again obtaining Skyla's badge wont let him control Dusknoir in battle. Always wanting the ghost on his team Simon relented and flipped through the Pokemon in his PC to see who he would replace him with. So for now he traded out Dusknoir for Combusken and when he did get the newest badge he'd find someone else to bring into the mix, another ghost Pokemon.

Pausing Simon knew he could train Combusken up to reach the level to evolve but like Braixen they would be in the mid thirties and the Ice Gym might be a lot higher. Pyroar was a lot higher of a level but Camerupt had his Mega Evolution form too. Switching out Combusken for Camerupt Simon wondered if he should do what he did with the pair of electric Pokemon he had just catch new, stronger Pokemon. If he didn't have to worry about these darn gyms and just had to train and travel everything would be fine but Simon still wanted his three main to be Greninja, Dusknoir and Golurk so for that to happen he must get all eight badges from somewhere first.

Rising Simon noticed something on the table, a TM left behind from so long ago. Moving the papers aside he discovered it was TM 59 Incinerate. Picking it up he turned it over in his hands, there wasn't any other trainers around here for a long time so this was free game. Thinking about things he realized that there were now two Pokemon he could teach it to, Houndour and Camerupt and he had Mega Stones for both, well Houndour's evolved form. Then again Camerupt's move set didn't need this move so sending out Houndour he used the Pokenav to teach the move to Houndour.

One last thing to do before training some more, Simon returned Houndour. Sending out Greninja Simon smiled at his friend and rooting through his pack he found the crystal shard. "This will make you a shiny Pokemon, like Dusknoir.""Gren?" "Is that something you want?""Nin!" he said looking quite happy, bouncing so the mystic water necklace around his throat bounced as well. Holding the shard up there was a flash of light as Greninja's coloring changed and he became shiny. "You look awesome," Simon mused and Greninja did a summersault in agreement.

After returning his now shiny Greninja Simon went out to the tall grass, the sun was now in the air and other people were around so it felt more like a real town and not a prison. Walking through the tall grass another Tangela appeared and Simon sent out Houndour first before sending out Noibat as well.

Once the battle was over Simon held out his hand cheering the little guy on. Noibat flew over and landed on his hand allowing Simon to heal him up before they continued to search for more Pokemon to train against.

Further into the tall grass Houndour had gone ahead but was rushing back, a taller Pokemon on his tail which came to a stop seeing the trainer and Noibat. Houndour hid behind Simon, peeking out and growling at the "Absol the disaster Pokemon. Absol has the ability to foretell the coming of natural disasters. It lives in a harsh, rugged mountain environment. This Pokemon very rarely ventures down from the mountains."Not only was Simon going to defeat this Pokemon with Mega potential he was going to catch it as well.

Eventually he settled on letting Mattimeo out. The Azurill was a proper powerhouse and he figured he might enjoy the freedom for a bit. Pulling out the ball he unleashed the blue balloon mouse, receiving a squeak of joy from the creature in response. Noel grinned and knelt to scratch the pokemon behind the ears. "Hey Matty. We’re hunting for eggs, do you want to help?" The Azurill beamed, chirping in excitement and looking around curiously to figure where they were at. Noel turned his focus back to Sherlock who was already well down the street with Algernon right behind. How had they gotten so far so quickly?! Noel yelped and scooped Mattimeo up, running and catching up with the other two quickly. "Guys, don’t go running off like that! We have to stick together for this." Noel scolded slightly, frowning a bit at the pair. Sherlock blinked and glanced up at their trainer as he set Mattimeo down, the Azurill chirping in agreement and toddling over to the other two pokemon to inquire on what was going on.
Algernon gave a bit of a coo, holding a paw to his mouth. Noel could tell he’d just gone ahead with the intention of keeping track of the Lillipup for his trainer while he was handling Mattimeo; he hadn’t meant to upset.
