Well seeing as this rather imposing woman had more experience in bandit hunting then he did he supposed she was right. “Still if they had any brains you would be the last person to lie to.” He started to look around for rope or anything to bind them. “Still I defer to your wisdom on this matter. Any signs on what could have happened to the residents?” He was looking around for stains or signs of a struggle but it was hard to tell with the effectiveness of his temporary partner. He mentally reminded himself never to piss her people off. If one was this dangerous taking on more would be suicidal.

Want to have your Bar wrap it up by delivering things in his post?

She chuckled; "You'd be surprised at how stupid bandits can get! Why else do you think their bandits in the first place?" So far she hadn't met an 'honorable' bandit! That, to her, was an oxymoron. Not possible in the least; anyone who stole from other or killed for loot was worthless and not worth her time.. other than to kill the of course.

She looked around; "Uhhh.... If they'd been killed here kinda hard to tell. Best we just tell the residents of this village. They would know who it belonged to and if that person was still alive." Maybe the bandit had been the owner... She shrugged; what was done was done and as far as she was concerned the matter was dealt with. A handful of worthless people killed so that they could no longer harm others!

He could think of a few reasons why one would become a bandit after a period of conflict like the war, but he didn’t want to start that converstation with this woman especially since he thought it was stupid to become a bandit in the first place when there were other ways to get help. “Fair enough. Still since I don’t spend my time chatting away with bandits I’m afraid it’s not like I have a way to argue the point with you.” He shrugged and went to retrieve his arrows. He figured the best place to start would be the chief here who had set out the assignment to start with. Turning he waved a hand having an idea where to head and glad the rain would help wash off the blood he stepped in from the inside of the building. Outside the live bandits where already dealt with thankfully. It seemed the rain didn’t deter a few of the villagers from wanting from having kept an eye out and seen the men fall outside. They were wary and afraid still holding anything they could as weapons and eyeing him with suspicion. Really he was a leaf tribe member but no bandit by any standard. They seemed to relax quite a bit as soon as the tall woman behind him came into view. Clearly given that there was no way she was a bandit made them all seem instantly at ease with BarAmal’s own presence of being unbound and armed.

The collection for the bounty was quick enough thanks to the fact that the villagers were relieved to find their home vermin free and ready to take back the stolen home and get things to rights once more. Sadly the owners of the home had indeed been victims of the bandits and were recovering in the healer’s home which meant they would not be able to walk back into their home for about another week while their injuries healed. The fact they were alive was miracle enough in BarAmal’s mind. He thanked the tall brave bandit hunter for taking care of the bandits and aiding the villagers even though he assisted after all the blood bath in the building left no doubt in his mind she was the type who did this for a living and not just occasionally as he did. With his job done and his loot collected he parted ways as soon as the rain stopped hoping that things would be a bit smoother for a while and knowing there was a chance he’d end up running into bandits again, after all with the losses from the war people did very foolish things. He was just glad he wasn’t one of them, especially given there were hunters like the tall Alkidike out there.
