Ril went for a moment tense all over as he found himself wrapped up in Yaholo's arms, then sighed and relaxed as he was pulled into a hug. It was something that he'd likely punch anyone else for but Yaholo... well, he was special. He was the the one person he liked to be this close to. Letting his eyes close he relaxed for a moment, taking in some deep and steadying breaths, trying to get his thoughts back in control. Yaholo's reassurances helped too, allowing him to feel as though he wasn't just another invader, instead he was welcome here, with Yaholo even calling this Ril's home too. He gave a slow nod, "It's still a little strange, having a home like this, but I am trying to figure it all out." He murmured to Yaholo.

Lifting his hands up he caught hold of a couple of Yaholo's dreadlocks, pulling him down so that he could give him a kiss, before he nodded, "Sleep sounds nice, as... fun... as it was to defend our home I think I've had my fill of chasing off bugs for the time being." Here was to hoping they didn't find another way in. The last thing he wanted was to wake up to more intruders he thought to himself, glancing toward the bed, then asked of Yaholo, "Can you lift the covers and make sure none are hiding there? After that we can go back to sleep."

Yaholo sighed, contentedly, after the kiss and gave Rilind a quick Eskimo kiss across his nose. He understood how hard it was to get used to having a place to be. He went through that quite a few times himself, not quite as harshly as Rilind had, but he felt it was enough for him to gain some perspective. The Brute gave a nod and lifted the covers, where the final set of Illo had been hiding, and gathered them up in his hands. Once he was sure they'd been safely put out the window where they belonged he made his way back to Rilind's side.

"I think that's the last of them, good thing we checked." He laughed, giving Rilind a kiss on his forehead. "It should be safe now to go back to sleep."

Only once Yaholo checked the bed, and dealt with the Illo that had been hiding there, did Rilind finally decide that it was safe to return. He moved to fetch his swords first though, moving them closer to the bed, just in case something bigger decided that it wanted to get in out of the rain. It wasn't something that he was about to let happen. The bugs had gotten away without any of them getting killed, anything else that came in, especially if it was bigger, wasn't going to be near as lucky he thought to himself as he climbed back into bed and waited for Yaholo to join him.

Scooting closer to him, dragging the blankets over them he murmured, "Hopefully next time we wake up it will be in a far calmer manner." Shifting closer he all but wrapped himself around Yaholo, feeling that the closer he was to him the less likely he'd be to have any bad dreams. Once he gotten himself comfortable he let his eyes sink closed, able to slip back into sleep with only minimal effort. Things would be fine, his swords were nearby after all and if anything dangerous appeared he'd deal with hit. His last thought before he was sinking into sleep again.

Yaholo smiled and placed his hammer next to Rilind's swords and crawled back into bed. The warmth of the blankets and Rilind's snuggles made it all the more easy to nod off, but the Brute kept himself awake just a little to focus on what Rilind was saying.

"Yes, let's hope I don't have to..." He paused, letting out a yawn. "... Jump out of bed like that any time soon."

He scooted closer to Ril and resumed the position he'd been in before being so rudely woken and let his fingers drift into Rilind's hair. He couldn't help but feel appreciative of this moment, despite the rude awakening. It made him think of all the little things in life. This moment was precious, just like his lover, and it was meant to be cherished. Even if there were annoying pests every now and then.
