"You need a nap anyway, don't you?" Which wasn't exactly an answer and, after a moment, Ever realized it -- shooing Zeke down the hall with one hand and stepping back into his room, death grip still on the towel. He wouldn't slam the door, not exactly. Instead he'd just slowly let it swing closed to put on proper clothes, something warm and soft.

It stayed closed for five minutes, maybe, before he'd crack it open to check and see if Zeke had really gone.

Even asking directly, Ever managed to skirt around an definitive response. Dismissive, but leaving room for correction.

Or it would have, had the door not closed in Zeke's face. He stared at it a moment, brows drawn in and features set in a puzzled, irritated frown.

Something was clearly going on, but Zeke didn't have a clue what. Shaking her head, the Mist continued on down the hall. He'd do what he had originally wet out to do, get a little sleep.
