Faustus Necromonium
'Well...this isn't all bad.'
Faust would have rather avoided going to the festival for the day, but with Keira moving along...And someone allowing her to attend. (Hey, it was a festival. Why not let everyone come along), he figured he could follow her around a bit...Even if he dreaded the idea of seeing the familiar shade of purple. There were sports going on, but at the moment, he was trying to just quell his thoughts.
I could go for some soccer though.. he thought to himself, as he glanced around the video and gaming room. The idea of a group date café....scared him...Though, hopefully, things would be okay.
"So...what game should we check out first?" he asked lightly, glancing around. He hadn't had a lot of chances to play the typical arcades...But, with the other festival games....He could probably win something at least.

Your Attendants.
<------------------>

"Come one, come all!" a sharp voice called, a tall blonde figure called out through a megaphone, garnering attention. "Come and try your aim at the best shooting Gallery in Inaba! Come one, come all!"
"We've got Prizes galore and.." the petite girl called next to him...before suddenly elbowing him in the side. [to no reaction, alas]. "You didn't say we were doing another shooting gallery!"
"Ah, don't worry about it." the boy called, giving his usual devilish smirk. "You know how popular it was last time. What's the problem with doing another booth?"
The girl huffed for a bit, before sighing slightly.
"You never change.." she replied, shaking her head.
"Why would I?" he retorted just as plainly, before starting to call out again. "Come one, come all! Come see the shooting gallery where every-one's a winner! In some shape or form..."
They still had their grand prize from last time too....So, if someone were to manage to pull it off...

Quote:
The shooting gallery Returns!
1. To post, simply walk up to the event with a post, stating who's playing, and what round. One of the two helpers will provide you with the proper items and set up. There are 3 rounds: Normal, Lightning, and 'Final' (Must play at least one other game before trying Final). The game consists of using the appropriate device to shoot down little Targets, and your Prize will be determined on the numbers written on them. Every Shot's a Winner!

2. Playing 'Normal' round, roll 1-20. The Number you're aiming for is 13. Playing Lightning, you 5 20 sided dice, and add the results. (Your goal is a multiple of 13. (13, 26, 39, 52, 65, 78, 91) If you hit a Number, you'll win a Prize! However, for both games, certain other numbers will lead to more generic prizes than others..

The final round is the hardest, set up at 1-1000 odds, with only 2 numbers that'll win. (13, 666)

3. Prizes vary between rounds, and include plushies, keychains, and other small acessories, depending on their roll. If one hits a number, their prize will be something such as a Me-Patra Gem, Macca Leaf, Dis poison, Dis Rage, or Dis-Charm. (Things that can be bought at Daidara's) The Prize for the Final round....is a Mystery, but is figured to be coveted by many.

4. Each Character can only play a grand total of 4 Games per day. However, if they hit a game with a winning number..they get a free game of the 'Final' Round.

Yuno

Hmm... a shooting gallery was it? That wasn't such a bad option, and she knew Rednal was actually very fond of his gun. Unhealthily fond of it, actually, if she were to be totally honest... but perhaps it wouldn't be so wrong to see what all the fuss was about, and she spent a little bit of time collecting the proper items and testing out her tools before aiming and firing. Maybe she could win a nice present for someone else, too... Well, only one way to find out!

Let's do this!
Good luck, Yuno!

...Why yes, the voices in her head were cheering her on.

Yuno

There was a steady, rhythmic sound as Yuno continued to play in the shooting gallery, clearly aiming to win at least one of the better prizes. More importantly, though, she was just having fun with the chance to use this kind of weapon, and she could see why others liked them. It was so much nicer - and more feminine - to simply twitch your finger and take down a foe, though there would always be a special place in her heart for stun guns. Ranged tasers were also good, and chloroform was an excellent choice for melee combat.

...Boy, this was turning into quite the weird bit of self-reflection, wasn't it? Still, she didn't seem to mind, and cheerfully continued firing at the target.

Faustus Necromonium
Faust glanced around the area as Yuno continued firing away at the gallery, smiling lightly.
Well, Rednal uses a gun...So, I could see how she'd want to. he thought to himself, feeling a bit of a chill down his spine. Something about the area they were in....gave him an uneasy feeling.
And yet, as she fired away, he couldn't help but stay at ease. Though...
"Hey Yuno...I wanna talk to you about something." he called, quietly. "It's..kind of important."
And yet...as he spoke...something, or someone could almost be seen peering around the corner. A head of pink hair..and blue eyes...

Father?

Yuno

"Hm? What is it, Fausty?" Yuno asked, setting the gun down. She'd been playing for awhile now, and it was probably time to take a break anyway, so she wasn't particularly bothered by this distraction. Besides, she (almost) always had time for her friends, and was feeling far better now that she'd had the chance to work off a bit of her tension.

Faustus Necromonium
Faust glanced awkwardly to the side for a bit as Yuno turned her attention on him, answering his summons immediately.
"I just...wanted to clear something up." he started lightly, figuring with all of the drama that he'd been bringing along, he should make sure there weren't any ulterior motives to hanging out with her. Yuno, I want to you to know how important you are to me. Back when I had no friends, you were there for me. When things weren't going my way, you were helping me cheer up...And to be honest, even now you're helping me. We've hung out together, a lot...and, for the longest time, I've always considered you my closest friend....if not..."
He paused a bit, to try to find the right way to word it. "I guess...I could even say that I Lo-"

GASP a voice sharply inhaled, her eyes covering her face for a few moments. She had been able to find them, and both at the same time, but...but...
I didn't think.. she thought, a small flush appearing on her cheeks, as she smiled broadly.

Faust couldn't help but turn at this, wondering what the source of the gasp was. There was a girl with pink hair, looking their way with a...strange sense of wonder in her eyes. Something about her seemed familiar, but...
I can't...quite put my finger on it... he thought, as he moved over to the girl.
"Can I help you?" he asked lightly, wondering what it was about this girl that seemed so..familiar.

Amora paused at this, getting a look at Faust up close...before Glomping onto him.
"I found you!" she cried out, happily. "Mommy! Daddy!"
She squeezed her arms around the younger version of her father oh-so-tightly, nuzzling into his chest and grinning from ear to ear. It had been a tough time...and she hadn't seen him in many a year.....Much less, in a timeframe when he was close to her age....
But..! but.. here he was! Right in front of her! She hated to have interrupted his confession to Mother, but..

"...Wait, what."

Yuno

"...Huh?"

Yuno waited for a few moments, watching as the rabbit-decorated girl latched onto Faust, beaming with the pure innocence of childhood. She... didn't look like she was going to let go of him anytime soon. Within Keira, a very quick debate took place, and her expression shifted fractionally as a decision was reached and another her took over.

"Are you lost, young lady?" Izumi asked, kneeling down beside Amora so she could see the other girl at eye level. "Where are your mother and father right now?" Possibly not the best question, but it was self-evident that Faust wasn't actually a father. The girl had likely mistaken him for someone else, so the least they could do was escort her to the Lost Children Booth.

Faustus Necromonium
Faust stood awkwardly as the girl held him, nuzzling into him like he was some kind of pillow.. Yuno came to his rescue a moment later, and he breathed an internal soft sigh of relief...until..
Amora giggled as the girl approached her, asking where her parents were. She smiled, pulling away from Faust for a moment, and grinned, looking the two over once more.
"They're right here, Silly!" she mused, gesturing at Faust and her. "See? My pink hair...Your pink hair...and..."
A reach into her outfit later, she plucked a vial..that would look stunningly similar to Yuno's..except, what was a silver hair in Yuno's, was a dark green in hers....a shade of green that was identical to the figure in her arms. "And Daddy's."

Faust flinched as the girl called him 'Daddy' once more, feeling more than a little...bothered, but as she pulled out a vial of hair that was the same shade as his, he paused even more. For a few moments, it was a bit annoying, but now it was getting..a bit strange. As she showed it off triumphantly to Yuno though, he could see something glinting on the girl's wrist.
Is that...' he thought, flicking his own wrist at this. 'My...cross?'

Izumi

"That proves nothing. Ou- my hair is this way because of a reaction from the medicines I took as a child. It's not inheritable." Izumi said with all the confidence of science. Still, this girl... Keira seemed at a loss for how to deal with her, and Yuno's ideas were rather less than socially acceptable, so it fell to Izumi to pull them out of this situation. "Now, where are your real parents right now?"

Mental Huddle! We've already met Euphoria - and she's adorable! As is this girl. If we assume what's happening here is connected to that, it's possible she really is our daughter.

Except that Yuno would never, ever have a child except with Rednal. Yuno thinks it's far more likely that the girl is mistaken about who her father is. Or deliberately lying - she might have an agenda.

W-well, it's not like I really care, or anything, but shouldn't we just ask for more information instead of making assumptions?

She's wrong, and Yuno doesn't care why.

Now, now. The least we can do is be nice to her - she's a child, so maybe she really doesn't understand what she's saying. It could be as simple as her being raised by Faust, so let's not get too worked up.

Mental nods all around.

Faustus Necromonium
Faust couldn't help but wince as the girl kept squeezing him...glancing down at the cross. Something about this whole thing turned out.....really...odd.
"You told me all about it, mom!" she insisted, squeezing Faust tighter still. "And how there were many things..and other people. Euphie's dad looked after you for a long time, but then things of some kind happened, you were with papa an-"
Faust slowly pushed the girl off of him...Rubbing his head.
"I think you might be mistaken, miss." he called, shaking his head. 'I...don't have a daughter. I don't have any children, and.."

"No daddy it's TRUE" Amora snapped, stomping her foot. "Look, I'll show you."
She pulled out the Destruction pentagram at this, and held it up to his eyes.
"Look, see? You gave me this and helped me train. Momma gave me her special armor Even if it's a bit revealing, and a lock of your hair."
She then gestured at her own face, pointing at her eyes.
"I got Mom's hair, and your eyes." she called, frowning. "Please believe me..."

As she called though, someone looked onto the group from afar..peering aside. Who could.....?

Izumi

Izumi watched as the girl began to throw a fit, insisting that whatever she was wrong about was actually true. "We're in public, and you need to behave." she said firmly, putting one finger on Amora's forehead in the Japanese gesture of gentle rebuke. She was usually shy around strangers, but... hmm. Maybe children didn't worry her as much? "And I think you may have forgotten something, or perhaps simply never been told, since w- since I would only have a child with Rednal. Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be able to settle this in due time. Why don't we ask Euphoria and your other friends for more information? Are any of them here at the school right now?" she asked, entirely unaware of what Rednal and Iofiel were doing.

TABLETSIt is nice that I had managed to get off early Usugu thought to herself as she had looked around. She didn't know that there was going to be a festival until today, and even then it was by word of mouth by the other employees. Still having the Junes theme earworm stuck in her head, Usugu hummed it to herself as she looked around. All the fun booths to play must have taken lots of pre-planning, so it would be a shame to just look at them. So she stepped up at the ring toss and put up some money for it. "I would like three tries please."

Being handed three rings, Usugu measured up her hand and the ring she held onto with the bottle she wanted it to land on, giving a couple of practice movements before tossing one out, it just barely missing from the bottle head. One miss. I still have two more to go... She thought to herself as she had grabbed the second ring and began measuring up just like the first ring. With the second ring's toss, however, did not miss completely. Bouncing off of the bottle she had aimed for, it landed on one of the lower winning prizes, netting her a small white figurine phone strap. It's shape could be described as close to a mouse, but it also could resemble a cat as well. But in the end, it wasn't what she was aiming for and picked up the third ring.

Angling it slightly different then the first two rings, she went in to measure the strength needed to throw it, but instead it slipped out of her hand and with it's angle and everything not at all what she was hoping, all she could do was pray for it to land atleast something. And it did. It landed directly onto the bottle she was hoping for it to land on "Congratulations" the booth owner said as he had then handed over Usugu her grand prize: a big yellow animal doll, it looked like a mix between a bear, a fox and a bunny. But all that mattered at the current moment was that it looked pretty cute to Usugu. So, with satisfaction on her face, she walked away from the ring toss booth and onto other things here, two trophies already.

Bel Heartily

"My, to think our parents would be so untrusting." The cool-minded traveler from days of future past took a few steps forward and put an arm around Amora's shoulders in a comforting gesture."And after we came all this way, traversing time and overcoming terrible threats. Just thinking about how you heroically faced down that Bour Ying still brings a tear to your brother's eye, Amora." Bel raised a finger to his eye, wiping away a single shed tear as he name dropped someone he'd heard that Faustus Necromonium happened to dislike quite a bit. Though Amora's mother would probably be less moved, the thought of someone overcoming anything for love must be one she related to; after all, she was a terrible, dedicated stalker. "I suppose...I never told you, did I? About our connection? And...this." Bel reached to his side, and after a second of shuffling his hand inside his pocket he pulled out a small stun gun, identical to the one Yuno had in every way. Except that his was probably counterfeit, of course. "Mother said that it was a gift to her, from her first love. That was before you came into the picture, Faustus. Though we may not have been raised together, I can confirm that everything Amora says is true." This would sound like a tearjerking, narmy plot straight out of an anime to most, but the look of guilt on Bel's face from hiding it from Amora for so long was palpable, and the evidence they presented must have set off more than a few alarm bells in their 'parents' minds. Of course, his part was a lie, but if it made even a dent in Yuno's armor for Amora's sake, then...

...it was pretty damn fun.

Great Ryoman!
