"I love it, Serr. I will cherish it always," she smiled, brushing her finger gently along the feather now resting in her hair. She must look strange with her nest of flowers and one feather in her hair, but she loved them all and the feather was a wonderful addition. "I do hope the ring is acceptable. I feel like I got the better end of the deal with how close this feather was to you." She didn't want to overwhelm him with gifts or anything, but she really did feel like the feather was far more precious than the ring. She didn't exactly know where he had obtained the feathers, but they seemed very special. Or perhaps she was just over thinking things like she tended to do. "Ah yes! I am traveling with some healers and scholars at the moment. I really hope to learn a lot from them so I may one day be a great healer and potentially a scholar myself. Just the thought of helping people and being able to travel and adventure....I love it. I haven't really been to too many places yet. Just through Jauhar and a bit of Tale. I'd love to see every bit of every nation eventually, but for now I really just go where the rest of the group goes since I don't know too much about where I'm going. What about you?"

Serr watched her as she replied, rather tickled that she could do so much talking. He knew he wasn't terribly communicative, or at least his aunt said so, but this seemed to confirm that fact. He didn't think he could ever speak as much as Eziya. Her words did ease his mind about their trade, however. If she thought his feather was worth so much more than her ring, then maybe he had gotten away with something after all. He almost reassured her again, but quickly thought better of it. It would be his little secret instead. He kind of needed something to hang on to now since the rest of what she was telling him was making him feel a little inadequate. "I've only ever been in Yera." He looked up into the trees. "And a little bit around it. I want to go everywhere though." For all the evidence he had been gathering in his head that suggested he was a man now, his travel plans were still those of a child. "South first, maybe." The south meant the remnants of the war and the strange new nations they'd made peace with. It seemed an interesting place to start.

"That's where I'd like to go next. With the war and all I'm sure there will be plenty of people to help," she nodded, chewing on her bottom lip slightly. "If I can get out and travel around even with my tendency to get into trouble, I'm sure you'll do great things, Serr," Eziya continued, smiling widely at the Leafling. Leaning back against the rough bark of the tree, Eziya sighed as she watched a leaf float down from higher up. She really did enjoy being in Tale, but she wouldn't get to stay around forever either. Eventually she'd move on, potentially to visit the Oban. But even if she did travel away from Tale, she hoped to see Serr again. He was good company and easy for her to talk to, unlike the others in her traveling company. They were all older than her and treated her like she was a child. One day she'd get out on her own. "If you do end up traveling south then maybe we'll bump into each other again. Though I do hope it won't be because you got injured again," she chuckled, tapping him on the nose.

His forehead wrinkled slightly as she tapped his nose and left behind an unexpected smirk. Unless she counted stealing as something great, Serr had a feeling she would be someone more people were proud of than he would be. It didn't bother him. That he had initially thought of simply experiencing the wonders of Oba and Matori rather than robbing its citizens blind was more disturbing. "Yes. And no. I'll look for you in the south. And I won't be injured." If he had anything to say about it, he would never get hurt again. "You're right though. I bet there will be lots of people who need healers down there." He was suddenly glad that he hadn't left his city during the fighting because as much as he longed to exact his revenge on Jyn, he had never held a proper weapon in his life. He probably would have ended up quite dead. "You should... um... be careful," he added, pushing away from the tree and standing straight again. "Wherever you end up."

"I'm going to hold you to that, Serr. No more getting injured allowed," she grinned, hopping up and stretching. She didn't know how long she'd been there, but she was sure the others were curious as to where she was. "And I promise to be careful as long as you are! You won't see me getting into any battles willingly!" She did hope she could see the Leaf boy again. She worried about him, but she was sure he didn't want anyone telling him that. She would just have to hope for the best and that maybe one day she'd see him again! "Oh! Almost forgot!" Eziya walked up to him, quickly kissing his cheek before turning away. "It's for good luck!"Smerdle These nerds make me happy. XD Also didn't know if you wanted to finish with it here or not. :3

Satisfied with her promise, Serr found himself nodding shallowly as Eziya prepared to go back to her scholars. Tendaji was quite large, from what he understood, but he had meant what he'd said. He would look for her and her satchel of interesting things. Maybe it wasn't so implausible that they might find each other again if they both kept a lookout. Familiar faces in a strange new world. Distracted by his thoughts, he failed to notice her leaning closer until he felt her lips press briefly against his cheek. Serr's mouth dropped open slightly in surprise, a soundless 'oh' his only immediate response. For good luck? His aunt only kissed his cheek when she was trying to hide that she was angry at him or worried about him doing something stupid. In a way, that last one made sense here too. Having a possible explanation for why the girl had done it didn't make him feel any less curious though. He nodded again, more deliberately this time, then raised his hand to the height of his shoulders and grinned, wiggling his fingers once in a wave. "Thanks."
