Suddenly from the garden's flowers 5 Plusle appeared, some fighting with each other until they noticed Astrid and Celsius standing over them. The tiny mice then sparked with enthusiasm, eager to battle the tough bigger Pokemon. Astrid slithered forward, a bit overeager to battle in place of Celsius. She quickly launched her powerful Diamond Storm attack, felling each of the little Plusle rather easily. They were, pretty young to begin with, and Astrid felt bad immediately after, slithering over to nuzzle one of them to make sure it was alright. Busily fussing over the little ones, Celsius turned to meet glances with a Smergle. Calling his challenge the the artist Pokemon, it turned eagerly awaiting Celcius to attack.

Celsius unknowingly tricked the Smeargle when he issued Swords Dance, since the Smeargle used it's only attack, Sketch, to mimic it, ending up able to only mirror Celsius as the blade rose his attack. When finally Celsius was satisfied, he attacked, swiftly slashing at the Smeargle. With two Pursuit's he fell the artist. Astrid slithered over, giving Celsius a boast of encouragement. "You're amazing."The tiny dragon stated with a doe-like glance. Celsius turned, speaking no words in reply. "I get it, you're the silent-type, alright."She chuckled, slithering away towards a nearby patch of blue flowers. Celsius followed, sheathing himself before doing so. He was growing tired now, after nearly a whole day of training. Glancing along the wall for Avikna, he noticed the red-head heading towards the other side of the mansion. It appeared the back of the stone wall wasn't all that bad condition wise, a few touch-ups here and there, but most of their work would come from the front of the wall. Tapping Astrid on the dragon's back, he motioned towards Avikna. From that she gathered he wanted her to follow, and so the two headed towards Avikna to meet up with their trainer.

Avikna turned to watch as Celsius appeared with Astrid, looking fairly drained. "All done for the day?" Avikna asked the blade. He replied by lazily wrapping his cloth around her neck and "Attatching" himself to her back. "That's a yes?" She asked, rather amused by the blades lack of an audible answer. The young Dratini replied with one, yawning loudly. "It has been a long day hasn't it?" Glancing towards the sound of the voice she found it was the Mansion owner, a package neatly wrapped in his hands. It was no bigger then Celsius' eye, so Avikna was of course curious as to what it was. "Why don't you rest for the day and start fresh tomorrow?" He added, patted the package in the palm of his hand. "Since you seem to still have some work to do, why not spend a night here in the castle? It's free of charge, if you do just one more thing for me before you relax for the day. " Avikna didn't need to ask what that was, since the man held forward the package. "I need you to deliver this to Nurse Joy back in town." "It's a generous offer, and I'm glad to accept. Concider your package delivered." Avikna replied, grabbing the package. The man nodded and motioned towards the castle. "Supper should be done by the time you get back, I'm sure you can find the dining room on your it, it's not that big of a castle after all." He added.
Taking his leave, Avikna glanced down at the package. Wrapped in simple brown paper, there were no markings on it of any kind, not even a name. Square in shape, Avikna pondered just what was inside it. 'Are you coming?' Mave called, drawing Avikna's attention upward. She and Zelda were already heading back to town. Catching up quickly, with Astrid in tow, Avikna slowed her pace down to match Mave's. Having left her bag back by the shed, Avikna held the package about stomach level in both hands, wanting to not mess it up in anyway, a characteristic her old self wouldn't have done, and Mave picked up on it.

Heading back into town, Avikna made delivering the package her number one priority. It didn't take much time getting from the castle back to Camphier, and even less time getting to the Pokemon Center. The Nurse Joy of the Pokemon center thanked Avikna for delivering the package and quickly began to open it. "I've been waiting for him to deliver this to me for quite some time." Nurse Joy stated. A heavy sigh escaped the pink-haired woman's lip as she looked over the object she'd opened the package to find. "And he delivers the wrong thing." Glancing up at Avikna, the Nurse rested the contents of the package down on the counter. "Here, as thanks for delivering this, you can have it. I'll call up the owner of the Shabboneau castle later."
Stepping away from Nurse Joy, Avikna sat down in the lobby of the Pokemon center and looked into what was inside the package she'd delivered. Apparently it was an assortment of Tms. "What was she hoping he'd deliver?" Avikna pondered aloud. The Tms here were pretty good, most of which were actually helpful for the red-head. A happy mistake she guessed. Using one of them on Dratini, she then put the rest away for safe keeping. 'What should we do now?' Mave asked, sitting down nearby the red-head. Turning her attention to the wolf she leaned back on the bench. "Well, It certainly wont take us much time getting back to the castle, but honestly I don't know. We could just return and do a bit more training with the Pokemon at the castle?" Celsius held up his cloth, still holding onto the Lucky egg. It appeared somewhat faded, signaling it might break or fade eventually. "Maybe not..." Avikna muttered. "Well, I am hungry, let's just return and figure out something to do after dinner." Standing up Avikna headed towards the exit, followed by her Pokemon.

Once she reached the castle, Avikna found her pace slowing until she was at a complete stop. Her Pokemon didn't question this hesitation as each of them noticed the men in bright red suits standing at the entrance of the castle, the old woman speaking with them. One man stood between the two in red suits, bearing a pure white suit and a bald head. "Are you sure you haven't seen this Pokemon?" The man asked holding up a picture. Mave quickly took off along the edge of the wall heading into the brush to hide her self in the growing shadows. Avikna slid behind the wall and watched, able to just barely hear the frustration in their tones. Biting her lip she dove behind the wall when the men turned and started back towards the town. As she did so... a bit of something flashed past her, as if she shifted in time and was in a different place for barely a second. Large red 'R's' flashed before her vision before she found herself letting out her breath, with the Mave's large paws shaking her slightly. '---kna' Avikna blinked a few times before look up at her red lupin friend. 'Are you alright?' The wolf asked.
Pulling herself up the wall she leaned back, feeling Celsius's cloth tightening around her neck. Pushing forward, she found her balance with Mave's help. "Y-yea, I'm good." Glancing back she felt rather... hesitant to head back to the castle now, but her bag was back there. She had to chance it. Maybe Lucie didn't say anything about Avikna? She hopped those people had spouted some lies about Avikna having stolen Mave or something.
By the time she'd gained her strength and courage, the red-head started for the castle once more, but she found her path barred by a few Pokemon. At first she was ready to attack them, but then she noticed her bag being carried behind a floating Spritzee, and a Ducklett and Psyduck pair each holding something. The Ducklett had a letter while the Psyduck held up a box on top of it's head. Slipping back against the wall, she accepted the letter and opened it to find a kind-hearted letter inside along with a plate of food for her. "So they-she choose me over their lies?" Avikna pondered. Thanking the various Pokemon, she waved good-bye to them while she rested in the darkness of the trees and nibbled at the plate of food. " I suppose spending the night in the castle isn't going to happen." The red-head stated jokingly. Mave moved over to lay behind the red-head, resting a wing over her, pulling the red-head to lean against her. 'Well, I'll keep you warm, but she should head out before daybreak.' Mave stated. 'Best to keep moving.' she added, lowering her head down. "Right." Avikna replied as she leaned back against the wolf and rested her head against Mave's warm, soft fur. "Just a nap than."

Dreams were often the staple to ones soul. What the inner mind was often thinking manifested itself into visions. Often times these could be interpreted into many different ways, often they were merely the mind acting on it's own untapped imagination. Avikna's dreams were a mixture of both, given she often never used her imagination for much more then plotting or drawing conclusions. She wasn't the creative type, but that night... her dreams showed her minds potential.
It wasn't necessarily only her mind that manifested this plain of existence. There was another, though far away their minds molded together, finding they were both on the same wavelength. Opening up to a large white rock chasm, Avikna found herself on a small bit of land sticking out beyond the caves, nothing but the open air behind her, meaning only one direction for her got. Between the giant white rock wall. As she pressed forward, driven by some unknown force, the feeling of something untold reached out to her and pulled her even quicker through the rocks, like the feeling of someone needing her. The rock walls on either side started to sport clear crystals that varied in sizes, some so large they could have been larger then a Wailord. her eyes were on the path ahead however, the light of the other side of the chasm seemingly never coming closer, yet she felt her feel moving on their own. She was captivated, but she could still feel her heart beating a mile a minute as she continued forward. What was she going to obtain at the end of this path?
Finally something in the distance caught her attention. Beyond a large crystal, a pedestal carved from the same white rock rested ahead. Draped over it was a red cloth, and on the cloth rested a blade, that at first Avikna thought was Celsius, but... there was no eye, it was a normal blade, a normal black stained blade. Situated above the blade was a helmet made from some sort of blueish steel, and decorated with the same crystals that decorated the cavern. An unknown force drove her to put on the helmet and grab the blade. With both wielded she noticed the remainder of her body was now covered by a matching set of armour, the sheath of the blade rested against her hip. Sheathing the blade, she rested out the movement of her armour. It felt... natural, like she'd always worn this armour.

With sword in hand, and armour clunge snug to her body, the red-head looked up as the chasm opened up, like a book, revealing a giant pitch black Hydregion with glowing red-eyes, it was then another appeared making the three-headed beast look as through it had six heads, when she held up her sword, she suddenly swung around to find another giant Hydregion behind her, it's middle head flying down as if to snatch her from the earth. Holding up her blade, the steel met with tooth, the smell of something dead festering from within the dragon's maw. Avikna could feel a fear unlike any other that she hadn't had in forever, a fear like when she encountered her father, but... more than that.
Avikna couldn't form any sort of response, and as she felt her strength giving out, she turned to look back, seeing the other two Hydregion's six individual heads rearing down upon her. Just then, as the black teeth of the dragons were just about to grab her, a flash of something blue passed by her, with a large bone as it's weapon a Lucario stood behind her, fending off another of the Hyregion's heads. 'Get back fowl serpent!' The Lucario shouted. Avikna's eyes widened... how could she hear the Lucario's words as if they were spoken like any other. Of course she remembered this had to be a dream, and turned back to face her own foe, spotting one of the heads coming down towards her, she kicked at the middle-head and turned her blade on the incoming head, blocking it as she'd done prior. 'Human, you fight well for an outsider. Tell me, how did you come to bear that armour?' The Lucario asked as he leaped back and sent off an Aura Sphere to repel the Hydregion.
How was she to reply to that? It sounded sort of like an insult to her, and she honestly found this not to be the time for idle chit-chat. Putting all her strength into pushing back the Hydregion's head, Avikna held up the sword in a defensive manner. "I don't know. Can you honestly expect me to explain myself at this moment in time? Even if this is a dream, I'm not going to back down from these fiends." Avikna caught herself off guard by the way she'd just responded... the last half mostly concerned her. Why would she call these... figments of her imagination fiends? 'Do not jest, this is no dream. Did you happen to hit your head or something?' The Lucario replied, after sending off a Dragon Pulse, finally scaring off the three Hydregion's who seemingly retreated into the shadows of the chasm opening below them. The Lucario's bone vanished as he made a motion to sheath it. Avikna turned, sheathing her sword, a reaction that also caught her off guard. "This is most certainly a dream. This place doesn't exist in the real world." Avikna replied, crossing her arms. 'Tis a sad case really. You must have hit your head really hard... Anyway, that armour you bare, and the sword as well, they don't belong to you so take them off this instant.' The Lucario shook his head and waved towards Avikna. She responded with a frown. "I will not. I don't even recall putting on this armour. All I did was put on the helmet and the armour appeared on it's own." Avikna protested. 'Likely story, knave! That armour vanished more then 4o years ago, along with it's bar-...' The Lucario stopped for a moment. 'How old are you, Knave?'
Balling her hand into a fist she glared at the Lucario. "Stop calling me a Knave. I am in no way being dishonest with you. I also don't see what my age has anything to do with anything. But if you must know I'm Twenty-four." The lucario's eyes widened at the number she'd given him. Looking away, the Pokemon of Aura seemed to be lost in thought before turned around to look up at the top of the Chasm, which in itself appeared to be hundreds of feel up into the sky. The Lucario nodded, then grunted, finally turning towards Avikna and with a outstretched paw he formed an Aura Sphere. 'You don't belong here.' He finally stated, then launched his attack. For whatever reason, she couldn't move away to dodge it, ending up getting struck in the stomach region and launched off the walk-way. For a moment a faint memory passed by her eyes as she was sent falling.

Walking along the path towards Camphrier, Roxas glanced nervously at the Odd Incense in her hand. Something about it gave her a funny feeling, she didn't know why she'd grabbed it, maybe she shouldn't have, but someone was selling it so it had to be valuable right? Roxas stopped walking for a moment once they'd gotten a decent distance out and set the incense down. "Alright, time to get some training in!" She dug out a small egg shaped rock from her bag and handed it to Gamma. "Let's start with you newbie. Show me what you've got alright? We'll have you fighting like a champ in no time. Don't know if you know this, but robots are my specialty." She grinned proudly, and Gamma nodded vigorously. So Roxas' initial suspicions were right, apparently she had pokemon fans too, not just humans. "Heh, well you seem eager. Lets get started then." Roxas took a look around, seeing if she could spot any nearby pokemon, and sure enough, some blue looking jellyfish faded into view. "What the..... Where'd that thing come from? I've never seen those around here....!" Cypher went to work, scanning the new ghostly pokemon before them as it drew closer and closer, not looking too happy. "Frillish, the Floating Pokémon. Frillish can constrict its foes using its veil-like tentacles and numb them with poison. It is said to live in dens some five miles below sea level." Cypher beeped informatively. "Well that's just F*cking lovely isn't it?" Roxas growled, not too keen on being strangled to death by poisoning. She used her headset to connect to her pokedex, pulling up Gamma's moveset and looking up the Frillish as well. Using Gamma would put them at a slight type disadvantage, but the Golett needed the training, and at least if things got nasty she had Cypher for a back up.
Before she could command an attack for Gamma though, the Frillish sent out a wave of ghostly energy at Gamma, who took the hit fairly hard. "It's okay Gamma shake it off and use Astionish!" Roxas insisted. The Golett braced itself and lunged at the Jellyfish. The two duked it out a bit, the Frillish continuing to pound Gamma with Night Shade but the little Golett held on to the end until the Frillish was defeated. "Nice job Gamma! Here, lets get you healed up." Roxas moved to the Golett and sprayed it with a potion.

It was a good thing she'd healed Gamma when she could, because it seemed the Odd Incense was attracting more Frillish they began to appear out of nowhere, pink and blue colors alike, all slowly coming towards them. Roxas shivered, feeling like she was trapped in some creep-tastic zombie movie or something, the way those damn jellyfish were staring at her listlessly and slowly coming towards them. One of the Frillish got a little too close for comfort and summoned another night shade to hit Gamma, but the Golett was doing fine. "Whack it with an Astonish! Show these freaky fish that this is the line and they'd better not cross it!" Roxas commanded, Gamma obediently rushing after the Frillish who had attacked it. "Cypher, keep the other Frillish at bay! Don't hit them though, I want to use them for training Gamma, so just make warning strikes with your Zap Cannon on the ground and herd them, got it?" Roxas asked the Porygon Z. "Rodger rodger." Cypher nodded, whirring and powering up it's Zap Cannon, making multiple strikes on the ground around them to keep the Frillish at bay.
Gamma was distracted however by the lightning that Cypher produced, and the Frillish it was battling with grabbed ahold of the little Golett and drained some of it's HP with an Absorb attack. "s**t, Gamma!" The Frillish was punched by Gamma in an attempt to Astonish it and get it off, and the blue Jellyfish went down, though Gamma was a bit wobbly. Roxas intervened, moving over to Gamma with a few more potions to try and get him back to full health. "Cypher, slight change of plans, keep them all away while I tend to Gamma!" Roxas insisted, spraying the Golett. as Cypher obeyed and summoned up more cracks of electrical energy to rain down around them to keep the Frillish busy for a while.

The only problem was that she didn’t know what sort of Pokemon type Grant utilized, though Celeste had given a bit of a shaky assumption that he was a Rock-type trainer… ” Assuming that Grant’s game is Rock-types like Celeste said, Ryouichi, you and Regina will likely be our best bets if we’re gonna win this,” she stated with a nod, looking towards the Froakie perched on her chair’s right arm. Amaterasu had jumped off of her lap the moment they’d gotten onto the route to Camphrier, the Fennekin doing what she did best as she sniffed around at anything and everything that seemed enticing in their surroundings. Ryouichi looked over towards Chrysa, then turned his gaze towards the Mega Lopunny that walked next to them, then towards his trainer as he cocked his head in a way that seemed to say ‘You can’t be serious’. It wasn’t that he didn’t exactly dislike Regina as an individual, but her tendency to be vain and self-centered sometimes just really irked him in some way. ” C’mon, Ryou, I know that you and Regina aren’t exactly on the best of terms, but…” Chrysa sighed softly, sending him a slightly pleading look with those golden eyes of hers, ” Could ya at least find it in yourself to cooperate with her, if just for this one battle? Please?” The Froakie frowned slightly as he looked towards Regina once again, a thoughtful look in his eyes. Sure she tended to act like a bit of a playboy and a beauty queen, but he would inwardly admit that the Mega Lopunny was certainly a fierce fighter when it came to combat. That quality of her he could respect wholeheartedly, the rest of it, not that much. Nonetheless, the Froakie looked towards her, before sighing softly and nodding reluctantly.” Alright, fine, you twisted my arm enough, but just for this one battle,”he muttered, folding his arms slightly towards the end of his comment. This was only going to be a onetime thing, and they would never talk about it again afterwards. Chrysa smiled as a slight sense of relief washed over her. ” Thanks, Ryou~” she said gratefully with a nod of affirmation. She hoped that perhaps Ryouichi and Regina could find some kind of common ground that they could get along with each other on, it wouldn’t be good if their rocky relationship was going to jeopardize the synergy they would need if they were going to work as a team. Maybe this was similar to how Bastien felt when he was trying to push forward with Bita, even though the Chespin looked like he would still need some work before he and his green-haired trainer would be able to share any sort of bond with each other. Meanwhile, Amaterasu was eagerly sniffing around the bushes and grass, wondering if maybe she would find something useful like that odd mushroom she’d eaten back in Vaniville. The Fennekin’s nose probed every nook and cranny, no space going unchecked as she moved along in her scan of the area. However, she paused as her nose picked up on a new sort of odor, certainly different from what she remembered a mushroom smelled like… She couldn’t recall ever smelling something like it before… it was quite a strange scent, she couldn’t even find the right words to describe the bizarre aroma she was getting. The trail led her over towards a nearby bush, and she blinked in curiosity and confusion as she noticed the purple-colored object among the leaves that looked very out of place. Had someone left this here? Or had it just been waiting there and no one had come to get it? It certainly didn’t look edible, that was for certain… Leaning closer towards the strange object, she took a deep whiff of it and confirmed her suspicions that this was indeed the source of that bizarre odor. Unsure of what exactly to do with it, Ammy grabbed it in her jaws and quickly made her way back over towards Chrysa. Her trainer had told her to bring back anything she found first for inspection before deciding what to do with it, and that was exactly what she was going to do.” Heeeyyyy! You guys, look what I found!”she called out to them as she approached, wagging her tail cheerfully in accomplishment at her find. Chrysa heard Amaterasu’s bark, and glanced over to see the Fennekin coming over with some sort of strange purple object clutched in her mouth. ” Ah? Find something Ammy?” she asked, bending forward a little to get a better look at what the Fennekin had in her jaws. It was purple, a sort of circular shape, and had some strange intricate decorations marked all over it… It looked like some sort of incense, which she recalled were often used for many different purposes depending on what they did. ” An Incense? Well, that just might come in handy!” the redhead commented with a grin, carefully extending a hand, ” Great find, Ammy~” Amaterasu happily deposited the deep purple Incense into her trainer’s hand, yipping and bouncing up and down excitedly as she felt a sense of accomplishment well up within her. Regina eyed the Incense warily though, the Mega Lopunny had a bad feeling about what might come of this.” I’d be careful with that if I were you, dearie… Odd Incenses are said to bring in dangerous Pokemon from places unknown, we shouldn’t hold onto it for too long,”she warned, even though she knew that Chrysa wouldn’t be able to understand her. Perhaps they should’ve asked to borrow Roxas’ device earlier, or that Celeste should’ve made an appearance by now for translation purposes… One of Regina’s ears flicked as she could’ve sworn she’d heard the rustling of leaves and branches from close by, and instinctively pressed closer to Chrysa’s chair, fists up and at the ready for anything that might jump out at them from the blue.】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【Chrysa couldn’t help but grin and chuckle at Amaterasu’s excited display at finding the strange incense, the Fennekin was so childish and easily riled up sometimes. But she just had to love the little fire fox for it, and she gently set the purple incense into her lap and reached into her pack. ” Y’know, ya deserve a little treat~ I feel like I don’t reward ya guys enough for everything ya do!” she chimed lightly with a smile, pulling out one of the Rare Candies that Regina had given to her earlier. Amaterasu’s eyes went wide with childish giddiness at the proposal of a treat, yipping and wagging her tail excitedly as she eyed the candy in Chrysa’s hand.” Oooo, a treat~ Yes please!”she barked out cheerfully, sitting down as she waited patiently, her eyes never leaving the blue-wrapped piece of confectionary that lay in her trainer’s palm. The redhead chuckled as she unwrapped the candy, tossing it up gently into the air for the Fennekin to catch. Not missing a beat, Amaterasu leapt up from her sitting position into the air, easily catching the candy in her jaws just as she landed. Eagerly swallowing it, the Fennekin’s ears waved about in a joyous manner as she felt herself grow a bit stronger from the effects of the Rare Candy. ” Heh, nice catch there~” Chrysa praised with a smile, before turning her attention towards the strange incense Amaterasu had picked up. What exactly was she supposed to do with this thing anyways? Maybe it was one of those incenses that powered up a Pokemon’s psychic moves or something… if that was the case, then perhaps this would be a worthwhile find to hold onto even if she didn’t have any Pokemon that could use such move types, aside from Celeste at least. She glanced up towards Regina, noticing that the Mega Lopunny seemed rather on edge with her fists raised and her ruby red eyes surveying the area carefully. ” What is it, Gigi?” she asked, wondering what it was that had gotten the bunny so worked up and antsy. Looking around, Chrysa scanned over their surroundings, checking for any signs of movement or anything else that would indicate impending danger. So far, it didn’t look like anything of particular threat was near them, and she smiled and was about to tell Regina that everything was fine. However, she came to realize what had been causing Regina to be so riled up when she noticed a small, brown Pokemon that looked vaguely like a miniature Tyrannosaurus Rex come charging out at them from the nearby brush. ” What in the-?!” Chrysa shouted as her eyes went wide out of surprise, quickly moving to wheel herself out of the line of the Tyrunt’s rush before it ended up striking her. Regina quickly stepped in, raising a fist to strike out at the little dinosaur Pokemon before it could get any closer to her trainer. Neither of them had noticed Ryouichi’s absence from his spot on the arm of the wheelchair until the Froakie came bursting out from within Chrysa’s bag with the Lucky Egg clutched in one hand, having heard her yell and wasted no time in taking action. Youth-rolling through the air like an expert acrobat, Ryouichi divebombed the approaching Tyrunt, opening his froggy mouth as he neared it and sprayed out a blast of frigid, icy air at the dinosaur. The Tyrunt had no time at all to react to Ryouichi’s sudden onslaught, and was quickly laid low by the Icy Wind ambush attack within seconds flat. ” A-Ah… What in the world, where did that even come from?” Chrysa managed to get out after the shock value of what had happened over the span of a minute passed over. Moreover, she didn’t recall Ryouichi knowing the move Icy Wind… unless… ” Ryou, were you digging around in my bag before this happened?” she asked, turning to look towards the Froakie. She had put the Heart Scale she had found earlier in there, he must have gotten ahold of it when he’d been rummaging around in her bag. In one hand, he held the light blue Lucky Egg, clearly wanting to keep ahold of it, and in the other was clutched the leftover blue wrapper of a Rare Candy that he had undoubtedly eaten. The Froakie simply stared back at her, not saying anything at all. ” Y’know, if ya wanted a treat ya could’ve just asked…” Chrysa relinquished with a sigh, knowing that the damage had already been done and there wasn’t anything to be done about it now, ” If you wanna keep that there Lucky Egg with ya, that’s fine.” Sometimes these Pokemon were a lot more trouble than they were worth… but like any loving mother, she had to be forgiving towards them no matter what. So now she was short one Rare Candy and a Heart Scale, though she supposed that there was some way she could make light of the situation. ” In fact, we can definitely use this as an opportunity to get in some training~” Chrysa added with a grin, nodding towards the Lucky Egg Ryouichi held, ” Might as well, right?” The Froakie’s dismissive expression melted away into a small grin, nodding in agreement to the statement. Now she was speaking his language, and not a moment too soon since it seemed that more Pokemon were coming their way if the rustling of the nearby brush was any indication… Ryouichi wasted no time as he took on a battle stance, prepared to take on anything and everything that could possibly be thrown their way.】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【Chrysa grinned at Ryouichi’s eagerness, the Froakie clearly prepared to take one whatever else came out of that brush at them. And not a moment too soon, it looked like, as more Pokemon started emerging from the woods around them. More Tyrunts, of course, followed up by several others like Dratini, Axew, Bagon, Gible… The redhead couldn’t help but stare, absolutely agog at the sheer amount of Pokemon coming their way. She’d heard that Pokemon often appeared in hoards, but this was absolutely ridiculous. Moreover, she noticed that most, if not all of the Pokemon approaching them seemed to be of the Dragon-type… How and why was this happening? There was no way that there would be so many Pokemon like these in a place like this, this just seemed so unnatural on so many levels. Come to think of it… this had all started after she had picked up that weird-looking incense that Amaterasu had found. Was that incense supposed to draw in Pokemon of a certain type towards whoever held it? That was at least her theory on it… but now wasn’t the time or place for that kind of stuff. Right now, they needed to focus on fending off these Dragon-types that were coming their way. ” Get ready, ya guys!” she called out towards Amaterasu and Regina, ” I need ya both to fend them off, but don’t attack them directly! I want to use this as a means to train up Ryou, okay?” She hoped that Regina wouldn’t be too offended that Ryouichi was the one being trained up, but they would need all the firepower they could get if they were going to stand a chance against Grant. ” You got it!”yipped Amaterasu as she took a defensive stance, ears flat against her skull and teeth bared at the incoming waves of Pokemon. Regina looked between Chrysa and Ryouichi, a contemplative expression on her face as she furrowed her brow. She supposed that she didn’t mind too much with taking a backseat for the time, she’d already gotten her chance to shine in that battle with Viola back in Santalune. It was someone else’s turn to have their turn in the spotlight.” Certainly, hun~”she finally agreed with a nod, fists raised as she bounced back and forth on her hind paws. Between herself and Ammy, they would surely be able to hold back the hordes and prevent them from being overrun while Ryouichi took care of the rest. ” Alrighty then, battlestations are manned and we’re ready to get down to business!” Chrysa declared, grinning determinedly as she did a little fist pump, ” Ammy, ya take care of crowd control on your end, spray at ‘em with Gunk Shot if they get too close to keep ‘em at a safe distance! Regina, ya fend ‘em off on your side with those kung fu skills of yours! Ryouichi, keep up with that Icy Wind business, it’s the best weapon we’ve got against ‘em!” The Fennekin stood tall as she held her tail out straight in a form of salute, growling lowly as the dragons were closing in on them. She had her Gunk Shot ready and waiting if any of them got too close for comfort, and Regina was prepared to take care of things on her end as well as she hopped energetically from foot to foot. The Froakie grinned at the sound of the plan, with how many Dragon-types there were in this horde, they would be easy cannon fodder for his newly learned Ice-type move. With that said and done, Ryouichi wasted no time as he launched himself at another Tyrunt in the gaggle of Dragon-types, moving with ninja-like speed as he blasted the little dinosaur full force with another gust of chilled wind. Easily knocking down the fossil Pokemon with nary a scratch on him, Ryouichi was soon searching for another opponent among the oncoming crowd. Oh, he was going to have so much fun with this…】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【Chrysa wasn’t sure of how long it would be until the Odd Incense might eventually lose power and stop drawing Pokemon by the truckloads towards them, but she hoped that she and her Pokemon would be able to hold out until then. In the meantime, what better way to utilize this than as a training opportunity? Between their opponents being essentially all Dragon-types, and Ryouichi’s new attack in the form of Icy Wind, they should have no troubles with this as long as they could keep themselves from being overrun. Thankfully, Amaterasu and Regina had their duties down pat, the Fennekin spraying out a blast of Gunk Shot towards a small congregation of the horde that was getting far too close for comfort. She made certain to aim well enough so that the violet goo she sprayed out from her mouth would be within threatening range of the Dragon-types, but wouldn’t actually strike them head-on. The gaggle instantly shrunk away from the volatile-looking goop, taking a good few steps back to put some distance between themselves and the filth-flinging Fennekin that guarded the path. Regina on the other hand swept her leg in a wide sweeping kick at another section of the horde, successfully driving them away quite a bit as the strength of the blow pushed them back. ” Great, you’re doing great, guys! Keep at it!” Chrysa cheered on, keeping a close eye on her Pokemon in case any of them might need tending to in the event of an attack. However, it seemed that it would more or less not be needed, especially with Ryouichi zipping around the battlefield like the Road Runner on caffeine. The Froakie quickly spotted his next target, a Gible, and leapt in for the blow as he assaulted the Dragon-Ground dual-type with yet another spray of polar air. Needless to say, the Gible in particular did not enjoy the damage it took, little icicles were practically hanging off of its body as it collapsed to the ground where it stood. Within moments after taking down the Gible, Ryouichi was already moving off to the next target in line. He could feel himself getting stronger with every enemy he put down, perhaps he might even get to evolve and further unlock his full potential between the Lucky Egg that seemed to give him more experience the more he fought. His allies were certainly doing a good job of keeping them off his back as well as Chrysa’s back and helping to corral them to make it easier on his part, he certainly gave them credit for that. At this rate, they would be more than prepared to take on Grant, he felt sure of it.】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【Chrysa had to admit, it was amazing how Ryouichi seemed to weave and dodge seamlessly through the opposing ranks… Bastien certainly hadn’t been kidding when he’d said that Froakie and its evolutionary line were practically speed demons, especially now that she was witnessing it up close and personal in such an intense setting. This looked like an epic fight scene taken straight from an action movie, where the hero and his companions find themselves outnumbered but are still capable of kicking the a** of each and every single opponent they’re up against. It was quite an experience, seeing the three of them working together like this, even though Ryouichi was the only one who was actually fighting while Regina and Amaterasu handled crowd control. At this rate, they had the whole situation well under control, Chrysa just hoped that the seemingly neverending waves of Dragon-type Pokemon would cease soon, or at the very least there would be a lull in the onslaught so that they could take a bit of a breather. ” That’s good, doing real good, guys!” she cheered on, keeping her team’s spirits raised high as they continued fighting the good fight, ” If it’s a battle of attrition, we’ve got ‘em on the run! Just keep at it!” She couldn’t help but wonder if Roxas was in a similar situation like this, as unlikely as it seemed. Still, she felt assured that her Pokemon could continue on as they were for a good long while, they seemed to show no signs of letting up anytime soon. ” How’re ya holding up over there, Regina Senpai?”Amaterasu asked curiously, too focused on keeping their draconic foes a safe distance away to check on the status of her Mega Lopunny ally and mentor as she sprayed another stream of bright purple goop at an incoming wave. As long as they could keep them herded up like this, they could essentially try to funnel these things through so that Ryouichi could take care of them one by one. In other words, taking down these Dragon-types as quickly and efficiently as possible, that was their goal in mind right now.” Just splendid here on my end, darling~”came back the cheerful response of Regina, who seemed to be having no troubles at all with warding off the seemingly constant streams of Dragon-types. Between her sheer size and the fact that her moves were more than capable of easily demolishing them, the smaller Pokemon seemed glad enough to stay as far away from her as remotely possible. With Chrysa cheering them on, the Mega Lopunny felt more than certain they could tough this out, even though the constant waves of Dragon-type after Dragon-type was quite tiresome. Ryouichi wove his way around the battlefield, being careful so that he wouldn’t accidentally get caught up in friendly fire, especially with Ammy spouting off Gunk Shots every which way to keep the draconian legions at a constant arm’s length away. Spotting another target in the form of an Axew, Ryouichi made his move as he pounced onto the tusked Dragon-type and laid it low with another blast of frosty air. Easy cannon fodder, and he was immediately on the move once again, utilizing the advantage of speed he held over his opponents well to his needs. With Regina and Amaterasu now forcing the army to essentially funnel their way through to them, taking them down would be much easier on his part now.】☆ ☆

Once Gamma was feeling better, Roxas gave the signal to Cypher to start letting one Frillish in at a time again, however, before one of the slower moving Jellyfish dared to try and get in through the electric field, a smaller shelled pokemon came skittering in, so Cypher resumed fending off the Frillish as Roxas and her Golett took a look at their new opponent. "Woah.... What in the world is that....?!" Roxas asked in awe as the brown creature attempted to take a swipe at Gamma with it's little claws, which didn't do much due to Gamma's Ghost typing. "Kabuto, the Ancient Pokémon. Though this Pokémon is now to be extinct, it had a hard shell that protected its body and is believed to have been a powerful swimmer." Cypher responded, sending the pokedex information to Roxas' headset.
Roxas blinked, watching the little creature in awe. "But... It's supposed to be exctint.... What's it doing here?!" She wondered aloud. Nevertheless, she wasn't going to let an oppertunity like this slip from her grasp. "Well if this is an endangered pokemon, I'm gonna catch it for sure! Gamma, use Mud Slap to distract it from it's onslaught!" Roxas commanded, and Gamma kicked up a wet patch of dirt into the Kabuto's eyes. The creature gave an angry screech and wiggled it's claws frantically, trying to get the mud out of it's eyes. It went into a more defensive position, glowing lightly as it did so. "Heh, raising your defenses won't get you anywhere against a special attack, keep it up Gamma!" The Golett nodded and kicked more mud at the shelled creature, and this time it got mad enough to strike blindly, but it wouldn't matter whether it's scratch hit or missed Gamma, either way it would have no effect. "Alright Gamma now take it down!" Flinging some more mud at the Kabuto for good measure, Gamma successfully knocked the small fossil pokemon out, allowing Roxas to make an easy capture with a Pokeball.
