Jingo stood and crossed his arms. "Maybe if you feel that way you should just stay here." He turned his back and started to walk, he ducked under the willow and began going past the stone head. "In another forest? So it's fine if I hunt in different forests, just no this one? Oh, I understand." Jingo said to himself, rolling his eyes. That was such a bad habit of his. Whenever he was being sarcastic or just annoyed out of his mind.
He didn't have the patients to teach a God who had zero common sense. Kazune was just like a helpless woman! He would probably would cry if he saw Jingo hunt. Was he accustomed to only eating plants? Wait- Plants were living things too. So what the hell did the God eat? Nuts and berries?
Jingo became more annoyed with each thing he marked off the list in his head. He could try and try and never please this God, because in the end it seemed like he'd just try to tell him different.

Kazune got up from the stump after he heard that and ran after him to
stop him." I'm sorry did I say something wrong? I was only pointing
out that those are my views, I know not everybody thinks like I do trust
me I do." Kazune told him walking beside him." I'm the god of
life I can't be greedy like most people. I've got to be fair and think every
being as an equal...Even when some humans weren't created like they
should been." Kazune then let his eyes wonder to Jingo.

Jingo sighed, looking over at Kazune. "Just don't push your views onto me. I'm happy with the way I live." His way of living, sleeping at inns and being paid to hunt. This wasn't what most people would call living, he was surviving. "No greed, eh? I guess that means you can't love either?" Jingo grabbed Kazune by his wrist and pulled him close, then picked him up in both his arms. "About getting you some shoes.. Have you noticed that every once in a while a rock comes out of nowhere and you step on it? Doesn't feel good, does it?" He hissed out his words, trying to get his point across. "We're also going to get you some underwear. By now I bet you're already used to the breeze." Jingo smirked, throwing Kazune over his shoulder like before. He started to walk towards town.

xxxxx ❝ Ronan led the human girl deeper into the forest. He knew exactly where they could find the medicinal herb they were looking for. The only place he knew they would be in great abundance. They could have gotten the herb in his own home forest, but the journey there would be much farther than the one they were currently on. Somewhere deep inside him he wanted to go back home. Go back to the places he was more familiar, but he didn't want to give into that feeling. Not yet anyway. He could hear the girl panting behind him. A lot farther behind him than he'd thought. "Just a little farther Elise. We're almost there."
Elise let out a sigh and hiked up her dress skirts. "Just how much farther Rome? My feet are starting to hurt." Dispite saying so, the girl continued to follow the god. "Is it a 'few more steps' almost there? Or a 'few more hours' almost there? Men are quite vague when they say these kinds of things." Elise frowned. "Well, at least Uncle is. I don't know that many men besides the ones in books. Even then, they still are vague."
Ronan tried not to roll his eyes towards the heavens above. Of all the mortals he could have befriended, this one was most troublesome. Not that he didn't enjoy her company. He did. "I did tell you to get ready did I not? We'll be there in a few more steps." Ronan heard Elise mutter something incoherent behind his back. He gently moved a branch out of the way, careful not to harm it. His brother was quite sensitive to the treatment of all living things. These actions were ingrained into Ronan's mind a long time ago and he hadn't given much thought to if afterward. Ronan lifted a branch from Elise's path. "We're here," he said. Ronan surveyed the area and froze. The sight of his deity brother being picked up by a strange mortal had him surprised. Panic and anger surged within him. "Just what do you think you're doing?!" He yelled, trying to catch the men's attention. Ronan strode after them. Dark thoughts tainted his mind. He clenched his hands into fists at his side. He could feel his palms growing warmer, threatening to create fire. "Put. Him. Down."
"What...?" Elise looked around confused. She hadn't done anything wrong had she? She saw the scene before them. She hadn't seen Ronan become angry at all since she met him. What was the matter? But this, Ronan's anger made her scared. Elise quickly tugged her skirt free from some thorns. She heard the fabric rip, but she didn't care at the moment. She hurried after him, trying to think of ways to calm him down. She worried for the two men Ronan was striding toward. Please let there be peace. No fights. No blood. Kazune flushed red when Jingo grabbed him by the wrist and pulled
him close and then put him over his shoulder." Hey I can't walk on
my own Jingo..." Kazune told him not that he was complaining
when Kazune heard Ronan voice and what he said." No wait! Ronan
stop he's a good person! he saved a baby rabbit!" Kazune told him
telepathically which was the only way he could." Who's the girl? Your
lover?" Kazune asked this time it was in both the girl's mind and
Ronan's.

Jingo looked over to the two entering their perimeter. He obeyed and let Kazune fall onto his a** as he let him go. "They're certainly not friends of mine.." He thought, crossing his arms. He examined the one who seemed crossed with him and the woman who looked clumsy enough to fall into a river and think it was only a puddle. Jingo turned his back to them and turned his attention to the stone head.

xxxxx ❝ Ronan stopped before colliding with Kazune. He heard Elise's labored panting before he felt the light thud of her running into his back. He glared at the stranger before offering a hand to his fallen brother. "A good person?" Ronan muttered. "Anyone can save a rabbit little brother. That, however, does not mean they are good at heart."
Elise let out a breath of relief. A fight hadn't broken out, yet, anyway. The dark haired man dropped the light haired fellow to the ground as she and Ronan had ran toward them. The drop looked like it hurt. Did he intentionally do that on purpose? "Do you know them, Ronan?" Elise asked.
"Yes. This here is my-" Ronan stopped, searching for a fitting word to describe Kazune, "naive little brother." He looked toward the stranger. "And I suppose this is his new friend."
She let out a surprised gasp at the voice in her head. It certainly wasn't hers. She looked around frantically for the owner of the voice. No one was around except the three people in front of her. "Umm, n-no. Not at all!" Elise blushed and shook her head. "My name is Annelise Carswell, but I go by Elise." She played with the hem of her sleeves nervously. "And my relationship with Ronan isn't that - it's not - umm." She looked at the dark haired fellow and proclaimed. "He's just my mentor and nothing more!" Elise slowly edged closer to Ronan. "I didn't anger your god brethren did I?" She whispered. "I think I'm starting to hear things."
Ronan let out a short laugh. "No. That's my brother's voice. This is his means of communication." Ronan turned back to his deity brother, a small smile played on his mouth. "And what gives you the idea that this girl is my lover?"
Elise cautiously walked toward the dark haired stranger. "Um, it's nice to meet you sir." She looked back at the two gods and smiled. "It's a strange world isn't it? To meet two gods in a span of a lifetime. Have you known your god friend for a long time?" Kazune grabbed Ronan's hand and stood up then rubbed his butt."
You didn't have to put me down so hard....." Kazune said giving a
pout look to Jingo and then nodded at Ronan answer when he looked
towards Jingo." Yeah he is his name is Jingo and he does have a
good heart he's avoiding hunting here because I love the animals
here." Kazune told Ronan it was true what Ronan said about him
being naive he was also too trusting as well which is how he got the
scar on his neck. Then smiled at Annelise" Nice to meet you
Annelise I'm Kazune Kujou and what gave me the idea that she was
your lover was because she's nice,pretty,kind,caring you don't find a girl
like her very often at least not in this forest you don't." Kazune said
then looked back at Jingo.

Jingo looked over his shoulder at the girl and then away. "Hmph." He wasn't much for talking to people who automatically assumed s**t about him. He kept his back turned and just ignored their chattering. The older God could think what ever he wanted, it wouldn't change who Jingo really was. "I have no interest in conversing with people such as this jackass. Did he even ask why I was carrying you? No. So I have nothing to say to him." Jingo thought, shooting a glare at the older God. The simple reason he didn't want Kazune to step on a thorn, rock, or maybe even slip. He didn't care about the God that much, but he did a little.

xxxxx ❝ Elise forced a smile. The dark haired man didn't seem like he wanted to converse with her. She could still feel some tension in the air. She looked back at Ronan and caught him glaring at the other man. She turned back towards the stranger again. "Ah, okay..." Her shoulders slumped in defeat. Why were men so difficult? Were heroes always this difficult towards the other characters in her books? She needed to think of a plan. Surely this heavy atmosphere would go on all day if something didn't happen.
Ronan fought the urge to roll his eyes towards his little brother. Was the mortal world really rubbing that much on him? Huh. Next he needed to learn this 'sarcasm' Elise talked to fondly about. Was she that fond of it though? Her tone was always negative when she did. Ronan shook his head. Elise was confusing. "Maybe if you ventured out more instead of hiding in your forest you would meet more girls." Ronan murmured, saying it more to himself than to Kazune.
At that moment, Elise marched towards the two gods and firmly gripped Ronan's wrist. She didn't think she could move the other man so she chose the other option. Elise, with Ronan in tow, walked back to her companion. Ronan didn't give much of a fight which pleased Elise.
When she finally stopped in front of the dark haired man, Ronan blankly stared at the girl. "What?"
Elise placed her hands on her hips and tilted her head to the side. Ronan tried not to show his displeasure at the stance. He knew what was coming his way. "You are a god, Ronan Uwiry. Try to read the situation before I explain it to you."
Ronan smiled. "Of course love," Ronan turned toward the stranger. "Ronan Uwriy. Pleased to meet you. Kazune tells me your name is Jingo?" Ronan's eyes turned cold. His smile still in place. Kazune went quiet after the remark Ronan made and sat on the ground
and started to doodle in the dirt. Kazune didn't say anything back to him
cause he was right." I can't help it....I'm just too much of a chicken to
leave this forest now because of what happened." Kazune thought this
time to himself and only himself. Truth of the matter is that Kazune
hasn't told the other gods about his fear of blades in all honesty Jingo
was the first person he told. Kazune had gotten so lost in his own
thoughts that he didn't noticed Ronan walk up to Jingo so he just
glanced at Annelise and got up and walked over to her. " Um...I was
wonder are you by any chance a healer of sorts?" Kazune asked
he figured by how nice she is she might be along the lines of a healer or
a Bard or something like that.

Jingo turned fully around and his eyes watched as the girl took the older God and brought him over. They were about the same height, but their strength could be determined better in a duel. Jingo's dark eyes looked back into the God's gold ones. His upper lip moved slightly to the side as he prepared to reply to the God. "Yes. Jingo Mara, is my name." He crossed his arms, adding more attitude to his own stance as he looked over the male. He leaned some of his weight onto his left leg and let his jeweled katana handle show. "Why not just give this guy what he wants? He wants me to be the bad guy here, so I'll give him one." Jingo thought and smirked.
"I was going to bed him of course. I haven't met a woman who matched his beauty. After that.. Assuming he can heal himself. I was going to sell him to some rich Mistress. Maybe they'd pay well for a God. What do you think?" Jingo licked his lips and cocked his head back to laugh. "Heh.. Heh.. Ahaha!" After he was done with his little play he went serious. He awaited the reaction from the guy, hoping it was a good one.

xxxxx ❝ The girl turned toward the other god. She thought it was weird he could communicate through thought. Yet it was oddly fascinating like magic. What did Ronan mean when he said it was his mean of communication? What was wrong with talking? Elise nodded her head. "Yes. I'm a healer. A human one though, so I'm not as talented as Ronan." She smiled. "But I'm learning everything I can from him. The God of Health." Elise let out a small laugh. "When he first came to the kingdom, he looked utterly lost. You gods don't seem to go out very often do you?" Elise's eyes searched Kazune's. A realization came to her. "Oh. I haven't asked you yet!" Elise laughed. "Ronan said you were his little brother. Just what kind of god are you, if you don't mind me asking?"
Ronan was relieved Elise was talking to Kazune and wasn't paying attention to their own conversation. She might have gotten mad and... done some things to both of the men's necks. For a human, she sure could scare him with what she could do. "I'm sure you planning to do that." Ronan murmured, a warning lingering along his words. "Kazune is quite pretty for a boy isn't he?" He saw Jingo's weapon. He didn't need to show it off. If the man wanted a fight, he'd better fight against someone other than himself. Ronan could sense previous wounds on Jingo. He could sense the scar on Kazune's neck, even the ones on Elise. A darkling of a thought entered his mind. Just how easy would it be to rip open every single scar? Watch as their bodies crumpled to the ground in pain and scarlet stained the earth? Watch as he healed them and reopened their wounds again? Ronan's smile widened. Kazune shook his head." No we don't ...In fact the first time you met
him might of been the first time he ever left the forest...I have yet to leave
it."Kazune told her anyone looking could tell he was a looker and
the only blemish on him would be the really bad scar on his neck."I
had forgotten about Ronan ability to heal...Maybe I should ask him if he
could repair my vocal cords so I can talk again." Kazune thought to
himself and then glanced over Ronan who seemed busy talking with
Jingo and decided to wait." I'm The God of Life, I control nature and
can communicate with animals which is why I can talk in your
mind." Kazune explained to her once he turned his attention back to
her.

Jingo shook his head. "It's obvious you don't want me in your presence. Nor do you want me around your precious brother." He exaggerated the word describing Kazune and looked away. "Being hated never bothered me anyway." Jingo straightened and walked around Ronan. His whole aura changed to cold and dark as he made his way through the forest.
He had it out for him from the very beginning. Villagers didn't see him as trust worthy or as friendly. No one saw him in the light only as a creature of darkness. For that reason Jingo hated the people who looked at him in fear. If they wanted something to fear then so be it. Run and scream, be scared!
It was different with Kazune.. He wasn't scared. But maybe it was true that he was too naive to understand what to be scared of. It didn't matter now. Kazune wouldn't be able to be near him. Out of anger Jingo tore off the bandage around his wounded arm and marched off toward the town. He was done playing hero. He was ready to give up on trying to be good. It was tiresome trying to convince people that he wasn't a cruel person.
