Adam started to head for the forest." It's okay you don't have to repay
me I just saved you cause it wasn't your time to go." Adam explained
as he stopped and looked back at him thinking he would probably be
confused by what he said." What I mean is the expiration date you
have above your head wasn't today." Adam then realized he probably
made it more confusing and just gave up on on explaining at this point.

Esper walked behind Adam and stared at his back. "I do not know why I exist. But, despite that you saved me anyway. I owe you my life for that. Maybe my purpose was to meet you. In fact.. I remember my most recent readings told me of someone I must meet on this planet in order to fulfill my purpose." He walked up and took Adam's hand, stopping him. "What if you are that someone?" Esper probably didn't seem very convincing, considering how awfully unhuman he looked at the moment. But he was very grateful that someone cared enough to save him. His eyes darted to the side and he let go of Adam's hand. "We should keep going." He began to walk again.

Adam blushed a bit and looked to the side." Maybe so...I've been
alone for a long time not many people like me do the fact of what god I
am...I'm sure you'd even hate me if you found out." Adam told him as
he continued it was obvious Adam was lonely it showed in his eyes
and how he acted.

Esper turned around as he walked backwards to look at Adam as he spoke. "And I bet you'd laugh if you found out who I am." The God of Stars? What a joke. There was nothing he could do to save life, he read the stars and what else? Nothing. Esper tripped over a tree root sticking out of the ground when they reached the forest. It would just add to the dirt on his clothes. "Ouch." He slowly got back up and started walking again, this time following Adam until they reached their destination.
