Jesus ******** Christ. The hyperactive woman packed a serious punch, kicking all air from Otto's chest as he fell backward. He was getting owned by a trainee.
He stayed on the gound, crouching as he swept Tenya at her ankles.

Tenya swung and Harley jumped at the last second, landing on one of Lament's curves and balancing there precariously for a moment. When she jumped, her hands were back on the handle, and as she landed she pulled the blade up and over her head, bringing it down on Otto awkwardly, if not a little shakily.

Otto moved to roll away, the blade digging into the space between his arm and body, grazing his shield. He let out a breath of relief, flipping backward away from the axe.
Standing, he moved to swing Tenya into Harley's back.

Harley caught movement out of the corner of her eye and shifted, pulling lament in the way of the attacking boomerang. Once the attack had been absorbed, she shoved it away, scratching his shield with a sharp corner.

Otto winced from the small scratch, and wasted no time in using the opening he had to swing Tenya down towards Harley's ribs, grazing her shield.

Harley tried to duck this one too, but this time by leaning back as far as she could; alas, it was no use, and the massive boomerang caught her shield, nicking it slightly. The motion already started, so she simply went with it, releasing her grip on Lament and arcing herself into a back handspring that ended in a low crouch a couple of feet from her weapon.
She paused there for a moment, grinning in delight, until she could charge forward again, grabbing the large axe along the way for a heavy swing at his middle.

Otto was pushed backward from the attack, the giant axe cutting into his shield painfully. Rolling back to a crouch, he spun the weapon over his head and released her towards Harley. The massive boomerang skidded across the earth of the field and cut across the woman's leg. HP: 24/50

Harley let out a yelp as the boomerang was thrown, cutting across her leg before disappearing somewhere behind her. Instead of looking back, she pulled Lament and ran forward as fast as she could; his weapon was a boomerang. There was the very real possibility that it would be coming right back. She had to work fast, and she did; as the last moment she crouched herself, bowling into him in an attempt to knock him off course, or whatever return path his weapon might have taken.
She couldn't let him get his weapon back, at least not right away.
Even if she lost her grip on Lament in the process.

Otto was bowled over by the waifish woman. She was clever, if nothing else. Otto's bond with Tenya was what normally had her coming back to him, but it didn't always happen like clockwork. Tenya went sailing past, skidding and toppling some few feet behind him.

Harley's tackle left her scrambling to get back to her feet, which meant, at some point, her hand accidentally slammed down against his face.

"MMPH!" Otto grunted, prying her hand off his face and helping Harley escape by tossing her off of him. He needed to get back to Tenya.
Racing back to Teny, he grabbed the giant boomerang and turned around sharply to get his eyes back on his opponent.

With Otto's help, she escaped and went scrambling after her weapon, snatching it up as quickly as she could. Unlike Otto, she didn't take the time to try and find him; all she did was swing blindly, figuring that Lament was large enough to probably hit him anyway.

Otto tried to bend himself backward to avoid her axe, but the weapon still grazed his chest. He took a step back, and swung outward at her with Tenya's jagged edges. Once he swung, grazing her, but he took two more steps forward, each paired with a swing of Tenya.

Suddenly, Otto was a flurry of movement.
"...Ow!" Harley yelped out, mostly of surprise. "Nice hit, buddy!" She did what she always did and laughed it off before getting back to business, beginning her swing back into the ring by spinning as quick as she could to give her next attack some momentum. Then she swung, treating Lament like a large, axe-shaped baseball bat by sending the flat end into Otto's side.

Otto grit his teeth as the axe's blunt end smashed into his side. He'd tried swinging at Harley when she had swung at him, but her attack hit first. His swinging arm missed her entirely, as he staggered to the side from her hit.
