Ace shrugged, hoping he didn't need to approach the Lead Rep mentioned.

The axe came to the trainee as if it would cleave him into half, fighting with giant weapon was intimidating and could interrupt his built-in imperturbability. Thus, the blade of Tracey slid and cut along the arm down to his elbow when he pushed Catherine up. The pain resulted in constant numbness but Ace didn't let go of his weapon.

Meanwhile, Catherine was persuading him of using the charge, inducing that the he would be helping the redhead instead of being unfair. Ace was easy to be lured, so he twisted his wrist and drew across to push Rep away. He swung Catherine out when he gained enough distance to let the scythe swirl in motion.

The shine on the fast-turning scythe prevent direct staring, causing it harder to adjust the timing to block it accurately. Catherine was quite upset for the deep wound on Ace's arm, she didn't enjoy her property being harmed by somebody not her. On the other hand, she found it difficult to stop craving FEAR. The frustration accumulated throughout the spar and finally vented at the redhead.

"Wooooow you okay?" Ace was a bit surprised to see Rep flew over so he trotted to the redhead. "Thanks, the first spar I won as a Sun. Just lucky to be picked by a powerful weapon like her I guess. All I do was swinging, still a long way to go." He smirked proudly. He didn't forget how Claude took him down easily. "You get what you want? If you don't mind, show me the way to the cafeteria? I forgot to bring the map."

The scythe disappeared as the tall man covered his mouth to yawn, he craved something spicy. "Which division you're from?" It wasn't a bad idea to make friends. "You didn't look like a trainee" It was said as an affirmation. The skills he presented, the way he talked and how he dealt with such a heavy blow and recovered from it, all gave a senior vibe.

He squatted, cupping his face with both hands while the redhead took the rest.
