Chance laughed in amusement.
"That is excellent to hear," he said, and waved an arrow around before notching it, directing it somewhere near Dylon's midsection. "I've had some delightful times myself while here, I must admit. There are some that are pretty against having a good time, but I just like to do what I like to do."
"Besides," he added, missing wildly. "As long as it's not hurting anyone else, and the other party is cool with it, it's fine just to do what you want with whoever you want."

"I am, in fact, a Michigonian," said Chance grandly, though this wasn't anything to be grand about, really. "I've never actually been to Canada, but I've always wanted to go...so yes, I suppose I do want to be, anything is better than Michigan..."
His next arrow just sort of flopped uselessly.

Clearly distracted, both boys were looking to be fighting as well as two numb armed frogs attempting to whack one another with daisies. "Then, I hereby dub thee; Official Honorary Canadian when I'm not about." He smiled, whacking the other man on the shoulder with a bladed hand. "A bond forged with blood!" HP: 19 Damage: 3

Clearly Chance was too busy being amused by Dylon so the daisy metaphor was definitely applicable.
He smiled, even if the actual blade kind of hurt his shoulder. "Thank you very much, good sir," said Chance dramatically, giving a little bow and poking Dylon with one of his arrows. "In return, I offer you my loyalty and services for whenever you need me."
In other words: a friend, but Chance had no idea how to actually use that word properly.

"Oh good! I love having a wingman." Dylon grinned with mischievous intent. "Not that I need one, but a shared experience is always more fun~." Sorry, Chance. Dylon got back into the fray, slicing across Chance's chest with his blades. HP: 16

He was starting to get tired, but Dylon was relentless and Chance found it amusing.
"Excellent point," said Chance with a wink, smiling broadly at the other even as the gauntlets crossed his torso. He winced a little and shifted, yanking back on the bowstring.
"I hope this means you'll impart with me all of you wisdom."

"Every bit of it!" Dylon gleamed, taking an arrow and knowing away another, before driving a jagged fist at the man. "My wisdom is public domain!" He missed once again. "But sparring advice, I'd go to someone else. I'm awful at it!" He grinned. HP: 13 Damage: 0

The claws went right past him this time.
"Except, I think you might be right on the sparring thing," he added, giving a little wink, and his next arrow collided heavily with Dylon's torso.

Dylon laughed despite the blow that came soon after by a direct hit from an arrow. It felt like they were blow for blow now, even though Dylon's skills always seemed to be lacking in the offence department. Once again, that point was made when he nearly missed the point altogether in his next attack. HP: 6 Damage: 1

The two of them were clearly nearing the end of a very amusing spar. Chance drew back his arrow, took aim, and fired, trying to hit somewhere around Dylon's torso.

The last hit he got hurt a lot. Vahn warned his shield was critically weak. One tiny hit would shatter it to bits. There was no sense in fighting past that during a spar. Dylon un-summoned his weapons and gave a happy grin. "You got me, buddy!" He said with a laugh. "My shield is nearly kaputt." HP: 1

Chance was very satisfied with his new acquaintance, and Asher was desummoned as he made his way across the field to stretch out a hand towards Dylon.
"Good fight," he said cheerfully. "Now I think drinks are in order, and some relaxing. My treat?"
