She smiled as she watched him go, letting him clean himself up. Part of her couldn't figure out why Schörl, of all people, had chosen a bleeding heart like this as a special trainee, but then... thinking about it, it wasn't really that surprising. There was nothing surprising when linked to Schörl. She might not be able to guess her motivations or reasoning, but the blonde seemed truly capable of anything. Anything that made you think 'naw, no way' was probably the exact opposite.

"You'll learn resolve." She said, absently, as she watched him. "Find resolve, kill your weaknesses, and never be a Victim again."

Not that she'd managed that fully herself... sometimes the weakness crept up on you, took you by surprise. If he managed to fill quota, she really would praise him to Schörl for his hard work. Maybe even forget to mention he broke down crying the first time. Not because he wasn't a whiny b***h, of course, but... he'd become linked into this strange group she was starting to associate as 'hers'. As weird as it sounded, as bizarre as the concept would be to anyone not her, he was.

Loyalties are important to you. You act always a loner, though. Paradox in that. Just not willing to let yourself find people to be loyal to? She heard Schörl's voice in her head, playing out a past conversation. Loyalty is important. But it leaves me open to betrayal. I am, I think, simply justifiably picky.

Or maybe it just happens without me knowing. It'll bite me in the a** someday, when I've forgotten how to be wary. Might even be this asshat who does it, or for dramatic effect, the woman who's gotten further under my skin than anyone else in years. She crooked a smile as she headed for the door, leaving Quartz to trail after her like the pet dog he pretended to be.
