Lunear really needed to stop undressing. This Athene absolutely knew as a fact considering it was not helping anything and he was quite good looking. Taking a minute to take him in, she braved a smile at the cut on his chest. That, that was something she was proud of.
"It sounds like you're trying to convince yourself you're not losing. The flirting isn't working very well." She attempted to look bored at the display of skin, but it was a good chance she was failing at that front. At least he wasn't shy about showing the goods.
She decided to try and close the distance again with another and hopefully final attack, but instead she fumbled with her garrote and ended up standing way too close to the troll she was battling and also sort of flirting with. Whoops.

Now, Lunear was a troll of opportunity. If it was presented he'd take it. So far, he's found that this supposedly cold troll had a perhaps warmer, more plush side to her. A side he was trying desperately to exploit.
And as she fumbled, Lunear saw his golden opportunity.
"Oh, perhaps a more direct approach then?"
He laid a smooch, right on her lips.
"Not all battles need end in blood you know." As he was currently bleeding down his chest and arms.

Nope. No. This was not happening. He did not just plant a kiss on her lips, try to woo her with words. She was dreaming, right?
She pushed away from Lunear, some of his blood now on her clothing, and made a desperate swing before backing away even further. She couldn't meet his eyes, looking at everywhere but him now, clutching her weapon tightly before one of her gloved hands made a quick touch at her lips. It felt weird, having that kiss, but she still didn't look up.
"This one should now." She muttered a little darkly, but did nothing more. This was not how she planned this night to go.

He was confused. That should have worked. She should have been swooning in his arms, ready to voice how great and handsome and powerful and amazing he was. Instead she pushed him away.
"Well-" he began, shaking it off. Maybe she just needed time. "-If you're into to that sort of thing." He gave his whip a light flick. "I shant deny a lady her request."

Athene could have screamed in frustration. He was taking her words all wrong! Whatever she had thought before about this being like her romance novels was the worst thing ever and she took everything back.
"I-! Not like thaat!" She whined, frustrated, and the whip hit her pretty soundly in the shoulder. A few tears sprung to her eyes and in the most mature move ever, she threw her garrote at him and turned with a huff. "This battle is done!"
Her face was burning though and as she quickly made her way to find Vremea, all she could think of was the kiss he had given her. It was confirmed, this was actually the worst night she had ever had.
