"I'm sure we have some one who can help you. We're mainly a group of healers and scholars, but there should be a few that have decided to move into the more destructive parts of magic. Really our little group is just a merry band of misfits all trying to learn more knowledge," Eziya explained, patting Araie on the shoulder. "We also have tons of books on different things! So if there's no one there we can find someone to join us or give you all the books we have on the subject. If you'd like that is."

She really did hope she wasn't scaring the girl off or anything by how much she was talking, but she was excited to potentially recruit someone into their happy little group. The more the merrier, plus she would get to learn more about the Ice Earthlings. A big bonus in her book.

"Well alright then! We should get moving! I can't wait to meet everybody! And thanks again for all the help you've given me. Which way are we headed?" Araie said, excited causing her to bounce up and down on her heels a little bit. As much as she hated to admit it, she loved interacting with people. She enjoyed talking and being around people and everything that came with being social. She would never admit that, of course. Everybody just assumed she was the fiery loner type who only ever spent time with her brother. And while that had been true when she had been traveling with just her brother, it was only because she had never had the opportunity to really go out and meet a lot of other people. Her little village certainly hadn't been a large one.

Taking a few small steps in the direction that she thought she remembered Eziya coming from, she turned around to look back at her friend. She tossed a smile over her shoulder as she spoke.

"So is there anything I can maybe teach you about? I don't know much besides some basic runes and things about my people, but I would be glad to share it with you if you wanted to know something!"

"Oh runes and things like that are not really my thing. I would love to learn more about the Ice Earthlings though. You are the first one I have met since I've begun my journey away from home. Is there anything specific I am allowed to know?" The Shifter questioned, curious as to how different the Icelings were from her kind. Following after the girl, she grinned as she watched her bounce around. Was she excited to be fixed or just to be traveling? Either way she was pleased to have a new friend that she could speak to that was her own age.

Before she could really think, Araie's instinctively defensive nature reared its head. Her parents had always taught her from the time she was a young child to always be careful when it came to the other races. "Be careful, Araie. You never know what a non Ice Earthling is thinking. Always look out for yourself when around the other ones. Araie had done her best to distance herself from that kind of thinking over the years, but sometimes it was hard to get rid of years of being repeatedly told the same thing over and over again. But she wasn't going to be as close minded as her parents. She liked people and wanted to meet everybody she could. She wasn't going to let her parents teaching affect her like that.

"I would love to teach you about my people. I may not be the best teacher there ever was, but I promise I will do my best. I would also love to know more about the Shifters and the group you're traveling with, if you didn't mind," Araie smiled. No, she wasn't going to become her parents. As much as she loved them, she didn't want to be them. She liked Eziya and she trusted her. After all, the girl had just saved her life. Eziya was her friend and that was that.

"Well I would be honored to learn whatever you are willing to tell me. In return I would love to tell you anything you'd like to know! I have several books on different subjects as well as anything you want to learn about Shifters in specific. Or if you want to learn about our silly little band of misfits I can bring you to Nayvin! He can tell you all sorts of things about healing and magical things," Eziya exclaimed, happy to have a new friend. She was always thrilled to speak to others, and if Ariae wanted to be her friend then it was even better.

Araie bounced around on her heels, leaning to pick a flower from the ground. She skipped back over to Eziya and put it in the girl's pale hair, making sure that it would stay there securely. The Shifter already had so many flowers in her hair, she was sure that she wouldn't mind another one. Wrapping her arm around Eziya's arm, she smiled at her new friend widely.

"You know, I'm really glad I got to meet you, even if it was under pretty bad circumstances. I'm excited to have a new friend," Araie grinned as she walked down the path with Eziya. The day may have started terribly, but it had ended much better. She was incredibly excited to see where this new friendship would go.
